Cal Cunningham sexting partner says she had a physical affair with the Senate candidate

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate for North Carolina Cal Cunningham admitted days ago that he exchanged texts of a sexual nature with a woman who was not his wife. Now, new texts have emerged indicating that the relationship was not just virtual — and the woman involved confirmed to the Associated Press that she and Cunningham had a physical affair.

What are the detail?

On Thursday, conservative outlet National File published texts between Cunningham and a California public relations strategist identified as Arlene Guzman Todd. TheBlaze previously reported that “she is married to Jeremy Todd, who like Cunningham is a military veteran, reportedly served 15 years in the Army.”

The next day, Cunningham — who is married with two children — admitted to the authenticity of the messages, but said he would stay in the race against incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) while asking for privacy for himself and his family.

Allegations emerged of a second affair between Cunningham and an unidentified woman in a separate report from National File on Monday, which published a Facebook post from former Cunningham advocate and attorney Erin Brinkman, who wrote of the Democrat, “He’s been having an affair with a good friend of mine since 2012. Not the woman mentioned in the story. Needless to say, my friend was devastated. But my feeling is, if they’ll cheat WITH you, they’ll cheat ON you!”

Hours later, Cunningham backed out of a town hall that had been scheduled to take place Monday afternoon.

The Associated Press reported Tuesday that it had obtained additional text messages pertaining to Cunningham’s relationship with Guzman Todd, “that provide both a more specific timeline about their relationship, which shows it was recent, as well as details that describe intimate encounters — not simply a digital exchange.”

The outlet reported:

The text messages were not obtained from Guzman Todd. But the AP contacted her to confirm their authenticity. In a series of interviews late Monday as well as in the text messages, Guzman Todd described two in-person encounters with Cunningham, one in March in Los Angeles that she said did not include intimate contact and a second in July in North Carolina, where she said they were intimate.

In the text messages to her friend, Guzman Todd told her she was intimate with Cunningham in his home, which she later characterized as “weird.”

In another exchange, Guzman Todd indicated that she was frustrated by the limited attention that he showed her.
“I’m just going to send to his opponent his naked photos,” Guzman Todd wrote. “That will teach him.”

Guzman Todd issued a statement saying, “A few months back, I displayed a lapse in judgment by engaging in a relationship with Cal Cunningham during a period of marital separation. The relationship spanned several months and consisted primarily of a series of text exchanges and an in-person encounter.”

According to WNCN-TV, the Cunningham campaign has ignored the outlet’s repeated requests for comment on the text messages, and as of Tuesday night, they had not responded to the new revelations reported by the AP.

From Congress to countertops: Former Dem Rep. Anthony Weiner announces he’s now CEO of company that makes glass products

Former Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner (N.Y.) has reportedly found himself a new gig: chief executive officer of a countertop company.

What are the details?

The New York Post was first to report Monday that Weiner — a convicted sex offender and serial sexter — is “trying to rebuild his shattered life by running a company that makes countertops out of broken glass.”

The outlet got its hands on a promotional email announcing his latest venture.

“One of the amazing things about IceStone countertops, is that since people throw away all kinds of glass, there is almost an unlimited array of different colors we can use in our recycled glass creations,” Wiener wrote.

“So that when I joined the company as CEO I asked what I thought was an obvious question — Can we make a countertop in the colors of my favorite New York teams?” he asked.

“So while not everyone is a fan of the Islanders (fingers crossed), Mets (ugh) or Knicks (don’t ask), if you are interested in a little color in your life, give IceStone a call,” Weiner added.

The Post suggested that “Weiner appears to have found the perfect employer in IceStone, which says its ‘commitment to second chances goes beyond our factory and our products.'”

IceStone states on its website:

We hire the homeless, refugees and train the formerly incarcerated and ensure that everyone gets paid a living wage and has access to subsidized health insurance and a voice in the company.

As of this writing, IceStone has not posted an announcement to its website welcoming Weiner as an addition to the company, and he is not listed as a member of the leadership team.

CrimeOnline pointed out that “According to his LinkedIn account, Weiner quietly joined IceStone in May with no fanfare — there’s not even a press release on the company’s website about his hiring.”

What’s the background?

Weiner was known as a progressive firebrand in Congress before, as CrimeOnline noted, in 2011 “he accidentally tweeted a crotch shot of himself on his public Twitter account. He left his seat in congress, and then launched a campaign for mayor of New York two years later — until another sexting scandal revealed his use of the online pseudonym “Carlos Danger.'”

The disgraced Democrat was caught in 2016 “sexting and sending lewd pictures of himself to a 15-year-old girl” as reported previously by TheBlaze. Weiner served 16 months in federal prison for the crime.

After being released, Weiner was required to register as a sex offender and undergo three years of supervised release.

Huma Abedin, his wife and longtime Hillary Clinton top aide, filed for divorce following his release, but later withdrew the petition.

Former Miss Kentucky sentenced to 2 years in prison for sending sexual photos to a middle school student

A former Miss Kentucky was sentenced to jail for two years after it was discovered she was sending sexual photos to a teenager.

Ramsey BethAnn Bearse, 29, was crowned Miss Kentucky during the 2014 Miss America pageant.

What are the details?

Bearse admitted to exchanging sexual photos with a middle school student when she was working as a West Virginia school teacher.

Bearse initially told authorities that she meant to send an explicit photo to her husband, but inadvertently sent it to the teen’s phone. She insisted that the student pressed her for more photos, and she complied because she was “afraid to not appease him.”

She reportedly exchanged photos with the teen for a period of three months in 2018. Authorities arrested the former beauty queen after the unnamed teen’s parent discovered the images on the child’s phone.

“The young man’s name was listed next to my husband’s on my phone,” Bearse explained. “From there, he asked me for more and I panicked. I was afraid to not appease him. When he asked for more, I sent him more photos of me which led to him sending a photo of his privates.”

A judge at Kanawha County Circuit Court sentenced Bearse to two years in prison on Tuesday, as well as 10 years of supervised release. Bearse must also register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.

According to WOWK-TV, Bearse pleaded guilty to one count of possessing material depicting minors in a sexually explicit conduct in December 2019. She was initially charged with four counts of sending obscene material to a minor.

What did she say?

At the time, Bearse said, “I messed up big-time.”

“I didn’t keep any of the photos of him or forward them to anyone else,” Bearse insisted. “But, I did receive them and I did compliment him in a way which made it look like I did want them, because again I was afraid to not appease him. Since I am the adult and he is just a teenager, it was definitely my fault and I accept the blame for the situation.”

Bearse is set to report to Lakin Correctional Center and Jail on Monday.

A spokesperson for the Kanawha County school district said that Bearse is no longer employed there.

Anthony Wiener is allegedly trying to get more access at his son’s school — and parents are not happy about it

The school board where Anthony Weiner’s son attends is reportedly upsetting parents by considering letting the disgraced former congressman and convicted sex offender back onto school grounds.

Weiner — who was recently imprisoned for sexting with a 15-year-old girl — has been lobbying for the change so that he can pick up his son, Jordan, 8, and attend events such as parent-teacher conferences, Page Six reported.

Page Six noted that while it is commonly held that sex offenders are not allowed in places where children are often found, such as parks and schools, New York State law allows for an exception to be made if the offender has a child at a school. In those cases, it is up to the school board to make the ultimate determination.

The news that the school board is deliberating over the matter has evidently caused a stir in the community.

“Parents are very upset,” a source allegedly told Page Six. “The school has kids that are 16 and 17 — the same age as [the kid] that he was [sexting] with.”

In September 2016, Weiner was caught sexting and sending lewd pictures of himself to a 15-year-old girl, even asking the girl to engage in “rape fantasies” with him, the Daily Mail reported. He was later sentenced to 21 months in federal prison for the crime but only served 16 months.

After being released, Weiner was required to register as a sex offender and undergo three years of supervised release. Despite filing for a divorce after news broke that he was sexting with a minor, Weiner’s wife, longtime Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, withdrew her petition.

According to the New York Post, Weiner has since moved into the same East Village apartment building where Abedin and their son live.
