Israeli Warns Hezbollah That Strikes On Gaza Were “Only Tip Of The Iceberg”

The Israeli Defense Chief warned Hezbollah that the previous strikes on Gaza were “only the tip of the iceberg.” Could we see the advancement of war in the coming months?

Last month’s eleven-day Gaza war in which there were persistent fears that a “northern front” would open against Israel if Hezbollah joined the fray.  After multiple missiles launched from southern Lebanon reportedly by Palestinian factions in the country), Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz has warned that the next potential war in Lebanon will see “overwhelming force” used.

The words were given at a ceremony marking Israel’s official recognition of the army’s 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon, which is now considered an official military campaign. Referencing the devastating latest strikes on Gaza, which killed almost 250 Palestinians – many of them children – Gantz said the campaign was “only the tip of the iceberg” in terms of military capabilities and what Lebanon’s Hezbollah would face next. -ZeroHedge

“Whoever hides weapons in their house endangers their children,” the defense minister added, in what appears to be an acknowledgment of the high civilian death toll especially impacting children.

This warning elicited a response from Iran. Iranian state media quoted a senior Hezbollah representative who vowed that any aggression would be met with the “fire of hell” in the instance of an invasion or attack. “They (Israelis) should not err in their calculations again,” the official, identified as Hassan Baghdadi said. “If there is a war with Hezbollah, they will see the fire of hell as they have never imagined.”

Even though the missile strikes have ceased, for now, it appears that the rhetoric has continued to amp up. There seems to be no end to the threats, warnings, and rhetoric.

Stay alert, know what’s going on, and be prepared for anything.  Even though there seems to be a lull in the news right now, things look to be taking shape behind the scene.

Conflict Intensifies: Israeli Defense Force Strikes Lebanon

The Israeli military has said it fired artillery shells into Lebanon in response to several rockets allegedly fired from across the border. Tel Aviv claimed none of the projectiles reached Israeli territory.

The exact number of rockets fired remains unclear, according to a report by RT. Lebanese security sources cited by AFP stating that three were launched from Lebanon. A video purporting to show the remains of one of the munitions has also made the rounds.

Around 22 shells were launched by the IDF in retaliation, a Lebanese military source told Reuters, though there have been no reports of casualties or damage on either side.

The United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon, UNIFIL, also said it detected rocket launches from the vicinity of Rashaya al-Foukhar, a village near the border, and that the IDF had returned fire. UNIFIL chief Stefano Del Col “was immediately in contact with counterparts in the [Lebanese Army] and IDF commands urging the parties to exercise maximum restraint in order to prevent any escalation of the situation,” the agency said, adding that the IDF had stopped its shelling. –RT

Both alleged incidents follow more than a week of fighting between Tel Aviv and Palestinian militants based in Gaza. So far, according to mainstream media outlets, the conflict has left at least 212 Gazans dead, including some 61 children, as well as around 1,500 injured. Ten Israelis have been killed by rocket fire, among them two children and one soldier.

The violence initially took off last Monday on the heels of days of heated protests over the looming eviction of Palestinian residents in East Jerusalem, seeing harsh police crackdowns and hundreds injured in the resulting clashes. An incident at Al-Aqsa mosque, in which Israeli security forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at worshipers, served as a flashpoint, with Hamas and other militant groups firing their first volley of rockets into Israeli cities soon after.

Stay alert and use your discernment.  It’s possible some or most of what we are being told is being fabricated in some capacity. Prepare and stay aware.

Israel’s Netanyahu Vows There’ll Be No End To Conflict

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed that there will be no end to the current conflict between Israel and Hamas. His promise comes not long after Israel airstrikes killed an Islamic Jihad commander in Gaza.

This is likely not going t end well at this point. In a Twitter post and statement on Monday, the IDF said that Hussam Abu Harbeed, Islamic Jihad’s northern division commander, had been killed in an airstrike. The tweet was accompanied by a video of the attack on Abu Harbeed’s compound.

The statement says that Abu Harbeed and his forces consistently led attacks on Israel and that he was responsible for a number of missile launches. One of the attacks took place on the first day of the current round of fighting, injuring one Israeli. The IDF said he had been a commander in the Islamic Jihad group for 15 years.

The IDF statement added that there had been around 60 missile launches by militant groups from Gaza on Sunday, 10 of which had landed in the enclave and did not trouble Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.  -RT

Israel claims it has neutralized more than 130 terrorists in the last week, while Palestinian militant groups had fired more than 3,150 missiles at Israel, killing 10, with the alleged attempt to overwhelm the Iron Dome, Israel’s missile defense system.

Additionally, on Saturday, Netanyahu said there would be no ceasefire in the fourth war against Gaza, adding that he “wants to levy a heavy price” on the Hamas militant group. He has also said he will continue to attack Gaza “as long as necessary.” Turkey’s ruler has said that he will not “remain silent” when it comes to the killing of Palestinians by Israel.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday that Ankara is “furious” over Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip and lashed out at countries that “remain silent” in the face of Israel’s operation. “We are both saddened and furious at the cruelty of the terrorist state of Israel against Palestinians,” Erdogan told a virtual meeting of his ruling Justice and Development Party. “To stand against Israel’s aggression in Palestinian cities, Jerusalem is a duty of honor for humanity,” he said. “By attacking the sacred sites of all three religions, terror state Israel has crossed all boundaries,” he added according to Al-Monitor.

If any other ruling class decides to send their slaves into this conflict, we could see an advancement toward a global conflict. As of right now, there appears to be no end in sight

Could The Wildly Out Of Control Violence In Jerusalem Spark A Major Regional War In The Middle East?

This article was originally published by Micahel Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

Things have been getting tenser in Jerusalem for weeks, and Monday was the day when tensions really started to boil over.  The violence that we witnessed in the streets of Jerusalem shocked the entire globe, and it threatens to spark a major regional conflict.

At one point, a tree that had been set on fire on the Temple Mount was burning wildly out of control, and that was a perfect metaphor for the emotions that we witnessed on both sides.  As a result of multiple violent clashes, over 300 Palestinians and an undisclosed number of Israelis ended up with injuries

Though the past week has seen hundreds of Palestinians and Israeli police officers and civilians injured, the defense establishment still thought that the situation could have returned to normal.

But that was wishful thinking.

More than 300 Palestinians and several Israelis were injured in clashes with police officers on Monday in violence that the city has not seen in years.

In response to the chaos in Jerusalem, Hamas fired more than 160 rockets into Israel, and the IDF responded by striking several targets in the Gaza strip.  The following comes from the Jerusalem Post

The IDF warned Hamas that all options, including a ground operation, were on the table after over 160 rockets were fired towards Jerusalem and southern Israel as thousands of Israelis were parading through downtown to celebrate Jerusalem Day.

Following the rocket fire, the Israel Air Force carried out several strikes in Gaza, killing at least 8 Hamas militants and targeting rocket launchers and two military positions. Palestinian media reported that 20 people had been killed including nine children and another 95 wounded.

We haven’t seen hostilities in the region reach this level in a long, long time.

Politicians around the globe are crying out for peace to be restored, but the leader of Hamas is indicating that more violence may be coming

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said on Monday night that “Jerusalem has called and Gaza has responded. We will continue as long as Israel does not stop the aggression and terrorism in Jerusalem and at the al-Aqsa Mosque.”

And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is publicly warning that “the current conflict could continue for some time”

“We are in a fight on several fronts: Jerusalem, Gaza and elsewhere in the country. This evening, on Jerusalem Day, the terrorist organizations in Gaza have crossed a red line and attacked us with missiles in the outskirts of Jerusalem,” Netanyahu said at a ceremony at Ammunition Hill to mark Jerusalem Day.

Netanyahu also said that while Israel does not seek an intensification of hostilities, “the current conflict could continue for some time.”

So what does that mean?

Could Netanyahu actually send troops into Gaza?

If that happens, that could spark a full-blown regional war.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad are no match for the IDF, but they would fight with everything that they have got and they are certainly capable of launching thousands of rockets toward Israel.

However, if Hezbollah decided to jump in and attack from the north, that would take the conflict to an entirely different level.

Right now, Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel, and those missiles could do some very serious damage.  At this point, Beirut is absolutely teeming with Fateh 110 rockets that have the range to hit Tel Aviv

Further north, in Beirut, is Hezbollah’s central headquarters, and the city area is packed with Iranian and Syrian-made Fateh 110 rockets that can reach greater Tel Aviv. It is here that Hezbollah is trying to turn some of those rockets into precision-guided missiles.

Precision-guided missiles are not like the unsophisticated rockets that Hamas lobs toward Israel.  It is being reported that such missiles “can strike targets within an accuracy of a 5-meter diameter”.

And of course, if Hezbollah goes to war with Israel, there is always a possibility that Iran may decide to take more direct action against Israel as well.

The Iranians typically don’t like to attack anyone directly, but they could certainly use proxies other than Hezbollah to hit Israel with conventional or unconventional weapons.

Hopefully cooler heads will prevail, and the Biden administration is currently attempting to “de-escalate” the situation…

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Hamas must end the rocket attacks “immediately”, adding: “All sides need to de-escalate.”

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki echoed those calls, saying US President Joe Biden was seriously concerned about the violence.

Unfortunately, at this point, Biden’s words don’t exactly carry too much weight in the region.

And I think that it is an ominous sign that cities all over Israel began to open their bomb shelters late on Monday night

The Tel Aviv Municipality sent an urgent message to all residents late Monday night that all citywide bomb shelters will be reopened.

The cities of Givatayim, Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak have made similar announcements.

By the time you read this article, events may have escalated even more.  Things are moving very rapidly in the region, and there is a very real danger that a “point of no return” may soon be crossed.

Unfortunately, whether it happens now or later, a major war in the Middle East is inevitably coming.

Israel, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and Iran have all been preparing for such a war for decades, and when it finally arrives the death and destruction it will cause will stun the entire planet.

So let us hope that it can be put off for as long as possible.

But right now the anger on both sides has reached a boiling point, and missiles are already flying.

In the age of social media, a major event that happens on one side of the globe can go viral on the other side of the globe just moments later.  This free flow of information can be a very good thing, but it can also inflame tensions when millions (or billions) of people around the world are focusing on a single crisis point all at once.

Over the next few days, the eyes of the world will be on Jerusalem, and one false move could spark a major war.

Let us pray that it does not happen right now, but at some point all of the sand will finally run out of the hourglass.

AGGRESSION CONFLICT Dmitry Peskov full scale combat operations global war Headline News Intelwars Joe Biden Kremlin Missiles Moscow Murder nuclear warheads Russia troops Ukraine United States Vladimir Putin War WW3 WWIII

Russia Has Moved Missiles That Can Carry Nuclear Warheads Into The Conflict Zone With Ukraine

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog.

How close can Russia and Ukraine come to war without actually going over the precipice?  Over the weekend, more forces on both sides continued to pour into the conflict zone.

And on the line of separation in eastern Ukraine, there are regular reports of gunfire and shelling.  At this point, there are no negotiations on the horizon, and one false move could easily spark an all-out war.  In fact, a Kremlin spokesperson is warning that we could soon see “full-scale combat operations”

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Thursday said the situation in eastern Ukraine was ‘very unstable’ and warned it risked leading to ‘full-scale combat operations.’

As Kiev warned it could be ‘provoked’ by Russia’s aggression, several Western nations have voiced fears that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s move could trigger an all-out war, which could drag Nato allies, including Britain, into the conflict.

By rushing so many forces to the conflict zone, the Russians have prepared themselves to be ready for any scenario that may unfold.

According to one British news source, Russia now has “close to 100,000 troops” in the region…

The Russia-Ukraine crisis could explode into all-out war within days after Moscow amassed close to 100,000 troops at the flashpoint border, it was feared last night.

Senior Ukraine military sources fear Moscow’s war-planners may have wrong-footed Kiev by being far more battle-ready for a major land and sea attack than previously suspected.

If a full-blown war does break out, the Ukrainian military will be no match for the Russian military.

The Ukrainians would literally beg NATO for help, and Joe Biden has already promised “unwavering support” for the regime in Kiev.

Since the end of the Cold War, the U.S. and Russia have never been closer to war than they are right now, and that is why this crisis is far more important than most Americans realize.

Within the last 24 hours, there has been quite a bit more activity along the line of separation.  The following is an English translation of a report that was posted on the official website of the Ukrainian military

During the past 24 hours, on April 10, in the area of ??the Joint Forces operation, the armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 10 times, including 9 shellings of Ukrainian defenders and 1 flight of an enemy UAV crossing the line of demarcation.

In particular, in the area of ??responsibility of the operational and tactical group “East”, the Russian occupation forces fired at our positions near the village of PYSCHEVYK with 82 mm mortars, anti-tank and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers prohibited by the Minsk agreements. In the suburbs of the villages of PISKY and SHYROKYNE, the enemy opened fire with small arms, and near AVDIYIVKA and KAMYANKA – with grenade launchers of various systems.

In the area of ??responsibility of the operational and tactical group “North”, near the village of MAYORSKE, armed formations of the Russian Federation fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders with hand-held anti-tank and grenade launchers.

Near the village of ZOLOTE-3, the enemy opened fire with automatic machine grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

Of course the Ukrainians don’t always disclose when they fire upon forces on the other side, and that has been happening on numerous occasions as well.

This sort of low level fighting is only a concern because it could potentially lead to a much larger conflict.

And in preparation for such a conflict, the Russians have been moving some very serious hardware into the region.

For example, it is being reported that the Russians have moved at least six “city destroyers” into the conflict zone…

At least six 2S4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortars – capable of firing warheads 12 miles – were filmed on flat-bed trains. Dubbed the ‘city destroyer’, the weapon’s devastating power has demolished strongholds from Chechnya to Afghanistan.

Even more importantly, we are being told that the Russians have been deploying Iskander missile systems close to Ukraine

Open-source intelligence specialist at Janes Thomas Bullock identified Russian Iskander missile systems that have moved or are moving to the Ukrainian area of operations since late March through open-source intelligence.

Thomas Bullock posted a Janes article from 8 April that said he identified the deployment of Iskander short-range ballistic missile systems, likely belonging to the 119 Missile Brigade, to Voronezh from the Sverdlovsk region.

This is a sign that the Russians are definitely not messing around.

Iskander missile systems can be used to deliver conventional payloads, but they are also designed to carry nuclear warheads

Russian official sources claim that the R-500 missile carries a conventional 500 kg warhead or nuclear warhead with a yield of around 10-50 kT. It is likely that there are several different conventional warheads, including cluster, fuel-air explosive, and bunker-busting. The missile can overcome enemy air defense systems while offering high-probability of failure-free operation in countermeasures environments. It has a target accuracy of 5m to 7m and operates even in fog or low visibility.

If push came to shove, the Russians would not hesitate to use tactical nukes if they felt it was necessary.

We should all carefully monitor the situation in Ukraine because this really does have the potential to spark World War 3.

Of course, there are two other potential conflicts that could also cause global war to erupt.

China has been eyeing a potential invasion of Taiwan for quite some time now.  If China decides to actually pull the trigger, the U.S. and China would immediately be in a state of war.

Also, it appears to be just a matter of time before Israel and Iran go to war.  On Sunday, Iranian officials announced that the Natanz nuclear facility “was hit by a ‘terrorist” attack”

Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility was hit by a “terrorist” attack on Sunday, the country’s nuclear chief said, hours after reports of an electrical “accident” – and a day after new uranium enrichment centrifuges were started up.

Iran reserves the right to “take action” against those behind the incident at the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facility in Natanz, the head of the nation’s Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, told state TV on Sunday.

He called the incident at the plant an act of “nuclear terrorism.”

Iran’s nuclear program has been steadily moving forward, and Israel had made it abundantly clear that it will never allow the Iranians to develop their own nuclear weapons.

The clock is ticking, and there will be war at some point.

So which flashpoint will erupt first?

I don’t know, but the red horse is getting ready to ride, and things could start to spiral out of control at any time.

I believe that we will be the generation that will experience World War 3, and it truly will be too horrible for words.

The Pentagon Awards Contract To Northrop Grumman To “Beef Up” Nuclear Weapons

The United States is spending $85 billion to upgrade its nuclear arsenal. The Pentagon has handed arms manufacturer Northrop Grumman a colossal $13.3 billion contract to develop a new ICBM to replace the Minuteman III missile.

What else does 2020 having in store for us? It is difficult to say, but one thing is for sure, the United States is going to be spending a lot of money to update weapons of mass destruction. This “beefing up” of nuclear weapons is part of a sweeping modernization effort to update the U.S.’ nuclear triad.

The new long-range missile, according to the Air Force, “will have increased accuracy, enhanced security, and improved reliability to provide the United States with an upgraded and broader array of strategic nuclear options.” It is expected to be in operation by 2029 and could ultimately cost up to $85 billion.

Though Boeing also vied for the contract, it dropped from the bidding in July after Northrop’s acquisition of Orbital ATK, a solid rocket motor manufacturer, one of only two US-based suppliers for that type of motor. Boeing argued the other supplier was not suitable for the GBSD project, and that the Northrop-owned company dragged its feet in price negotiations, claiming Northrop had an “unfair advantage.” The Air Force refused to act on Boeing’s complaints, however, and the firm withdrew its bid. –RT

President Donald Trump has embraced the nuclear initiative with open arms, even approving greater spending for the project in the 2021 budget. In addition to replacing the Minuteman III, whose first variant was put into service in 1970, the military is also working to revamp the other two legs of the U.S. nuclear triad, including upgrades for its nuclear-capable aircraft and submarines.

Of course, we know the government and elitists have weapons that we don’t know about.  The development of a new ICBM comes as part of a massive nuclear modernization scheme instituted under former President Barack Obama, initially set to cost $1 trillion and span three decades.

Stay aware and alert. Know this is going on. Be prepared. Times are strange, to say the least, and the timing of this feels “off” at best.
