Israeli Warns Hezbollah That Strikes On Gaza Were “Only Tip Of The Iceberg”

The Israeli Defense Chief warned Hezbollah that the previous strikes on Gaza were “only the tip of the iceberg.” Could we see the advancement of war in the coming months?

Last month’s eleven-day Gaza war in which there were persistent fears that a “northern front” would open against Israel if Hezbollah joined the fray.  After multiple missiles launched from southern Lebanon reportedly by Palestinian factions in the country), Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz has warned that the next potential war in Lebanon will see “overwhelming force” used.

The words were given at a ceremony marking Israel’s official recognition of the army’s 18-year occupation of southern Lebanon, which is now considered an official military campaign. Referencing the devastating latest strikes on Gaza, which killed almost 250 Palestinians – many of them children – Gantz said the campaign was “only the tip of the iceberg” in terms of military capabilities and what Lebanon’s Hezbollah would face next. -ZeroHedge

“Whoever hides weapons in their house endangers their children,” the defense minister added, in what appears to be an acknowledgment of the high civilian death toll especially impacting children.

This warning elicited a response from Iran. Iranian state media quoted a senior Hezbollah representative who vowed that any aggression would be met with the “fire of hell” in the instance of an invasion or attack. “They (Israelis) should not err in their calculations again,” the official, identified as Hassan Baghdadi said. “If there is a war with Hezbollah, they will see the fire of hell as they have never imagined.”

Even though the missile strikes have ceased, for now, it appears that the rhetoric has continued to amp up. There seems to be no end to the threats, warnings, and rhetoric.

Stay alert, know what’s going on, and be prepared for anything.  Even though there seems to be a lull in the news right now, things look to be taking shape behind the scene.

Civilians CONFLICT entire glove gaza strip government is slavery Hamas Headline News hezbollah injuries Intelwars Iran Israeli Jerusalem Missiles Palestinians Prepare rockets rockets launched Temple Mount Violence war is a racket war on us Wars

Could The Wildly Out Of Control Violence In Jerusalem Spark A Major Regional War In The Middle East?

This article was originally published by Micahel Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

Things have been getting tenser in Jerusalem for weeks, and Monday was the day when tensions really started to boil over.  The violence that we witnessed in the streets of Jerusalem shocked the entire globe, and it threatens to spark a major regional conflict.

At one point, a tree that had been set on fire on the Temple Mount was burning wildly out of control, and that was a perfect metaphor for the emotions that we witnessed on both sides.  As a result of multiple violent clashes, over 300 Palestinians and an undisclosed number of Israelis ended up with injuries

Though the past week has seen hundreds of Palestinians and Israeli police officers and civilians injured, the defense establishment still thought that the situation could have returned to normal.

But that was wishful thinking.

More than 300 Palestinians and several Israelis were injured in clashes with police officers on Monday in violence that the city has not seen in years.

In response to the chaos in Jerusalem, Hamas fired more than 160 rockets into Israel, and the IDF responded by striking several targets in the Gaza strip.  The following comes from the Jerusalem Post

The IDF warned Hamas that all options, including a ground operation, were on the table after over 160 rockets were fired towards Jerusalem and southern Israel as thousands of Israelis were parading through downtown to celebrate Jerusalem Day.

Following the rocket fire, the Israel Air Force carried out several strikes in Gaza, killing at least 8 Hamas militants and targeting rocket launchers and two military positions. Palestinian media reported that 20 people had been killed including nine children and another 95 wounded.

We haven’t seen hostilities in the region reach this level in a long, long time.

Politicians around the globe are crying out for peace to be restored, but the leader of Hamas is indicating that more violence may be coming

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said on Monday night that “Jerusalem has called and Gaza has responded. We will continue as long as Israel does not stop the aggression and terrorism in Jerusalem and at the al-Aqsa Mosque.”

And Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is publicly warning that “the current conflict could continue for some time”

“We are in a fight on several fronts: Jerusalem, Gaza and elsewhere in the country. This evening, on Jerusalem Day, the terrorist organizations in Gaza have crossed a red line and attacked us with missiles in the outskirts of Jerusalem,” Netanyahu said at a ceremony at Ammunition Hill to mark Jerusalem Day.

Netanyahu also said that while Israel does not seek an intensification of hostilities, “the current conflict could continue for some time.”

So what does that mean?

Could Netanyahu actually send troops into Gaza?

If that happens, that could spark a full-blown regional war.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad are no match for the IDF, but they would fight with everything that they have got and they are certainly capable of launching thousands of rockets toward Israel.

However, if Hezbollah decided to jump in and attack from the north, that would take the conflict to an entirely different level.

Right now, Hezbollah has 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel, and those missiles could do some very serious damage.  At this point, Beirut is absolutely teeming with Fateh 110 rockets that have the range to hit Tel Aviv

Further north, in Beirut, is Hezbollah’s central headquarters, and the city area is packed with Iranian and Syrian-made Fateh 110 rockets that can reach greater Tel Aviv. It is here that Hezbollah is trying to turn some of those rockets into precision-guided missiles.

Precision-guided missiles are not like the unsophisticated rockets that Hamas lobs toward Israel.  It is being reported that such missiles “can strike targets within an accuracy of a 5-meter diameter”.

And of course, if Hezbollah goes to war with Israel, there is always a possibility that Iran may decide to take more direct action against Israel as well.

The Iranians typically don’t like to attack anyone directly, but they could certainly use proxies other than Hezbollah to hit Israel with conventional or unconventional weapons.

Hopefully cooler heads will prevail, and the Biden administration is currently attempting to “de-escalate” the situation…

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Hamas must end the rocket attacks “immediately”, adding: “All sides need to de-escalate.”

White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki echoed those calls, saying US President Joe Biden was seriously concerned about the violence.

Unfortunately, at this point, Biden’s words don’t exactly carry too much weight in the region.

And I think that it is an ominous sign that cities all over Israel began to open their bomb shelters late on Monday night

The Tel Aviv Municipality sent an urgent message to all residents late Monday night that all citywide bomb shelters will be reopened.

The cities of Givatayim, Ramat Gan and Bnei Brak have made similar announcements.

By the time you read this article, events may have escalated even more.  Things are moving very rapidly in the region, and there is a very real danger that a “point of no return” may soon be crossed.

Unfortunately, whether it happens now or later, a major war in the Middle East is inevitably coming.

Israel, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and Iran have all been preparing for such a war for decades, and when it finally arrives the death and destruction it will cause will stun the entire planet.

So let us hope that it can be put off for as long as possible.

But right now the anger on both sides has reached a boiling point, and missiles are already flying.

In the age of social media, a major event that happens on one side of the globe can go viral on the other side of the globe just moments later.  This free flow of information can be a very good thing, but it can also inflame tensions when millions (or billions) of people around the world are focusing on a single crisis point all at once.

Over the next few days, the eyes of the world will be on Jerusalem, and one false move could spark a major war.

Let us pray that it does not happen right now, but at some point all of the sand will finally run out of the hourglass.

anti-Trump Donald Trump hezbollah Intelwars Los Angeles Times Louis Farrakhan Trump Supporters writer

Writer hates everything ‘Trumpites’ next door stand for — except they just plowed her? driveway for free. Now she’s stumped.

Los Angeles Times columnist Virginia Heffernan was legit flummoxed.

“Oh, heck no,” she began her Friday piece. “The Trumpites next door to our pandemic getaway, who seem as devoted to the ex-president as you can get without being Q fans, just plowed our driveway without being asked and did a great job.

It’s apparently a really big problem when the demonized demonstrate that they’re not the Devil, eh? Even when they supported former President Donald Trump.

“How am I going to resist demands for unity in the face of this act of aggressive niceness?” she asked. “Of course, on some level, I realize I owe them thanks — and, man, it really looks like the guy back-dragged the driveway like a pro — but how much thanks?”

Is this a fly-on-the-wall view of leftism?

The “Trumpites,” as she calls them, did the job without asking for any money. Not that neighbors typically do things for each other without being asked and then come back the next day with a bill, but whatever.

Unfortunately, the clearly wary Heffernan then invoked Hezzbollah and Louis Farrakhan to further her argument:

Hezbollah, the Shiite Islamist political party in Lebanon, also gives things away for free. The favors Hezbollah does for people in the cities Tyre and Sidon probably don’t involve snowplows, but, like other mafias, Hezbollah tends to its own — the Shiite sick, elderly and hungry. They offer protection and hospitality and win loyalty that way. And they also demand devotion to their brutal, us-versus-them anti-Sunni cause. Some of us are family, the favors say; the rest are infidels.

The same is true with Louis Farrakhan, who currently helms the Nation of Islam. While the Southern Poverty Law Center classifies him as a dangerous anti-Semite, much of his flock says he’s just a little screwy and unfailingly magnanimous. To them.

She was able to admit that “when someone helps you when you’re down, or snowed in, it’s almost impossible to regard them as a blight on the world. In fact, you’re more likely to be overwhelmed with gratitude and convinced of the person’s inherent goodness.” As well as, “Loving your neighbor is evidently much easier when your neighborhood is full of people just like you.”

The problem for Heffernan is that those same neighbors who kindly plowed her driveway also “supported a man who showed near-murderous contempt for the majority of Americans. They kept him in business with their support.”

The verdict?

Finally, she decided that she would offer “a wave and a thanks, a minimal start on building back trust. I’m not ready to knock on the door with a covered dish yet.”

Heffernan concluded her piece thusly:

I also can’t give my neighbors absolution; it’s not mine to give. Free driveway work, as nice as it is, is just not the same currency as justice and truth. To pretend it is would be to lie, and they probably aren’t looking for absolution anyway.

But I can offer a standing invitation to make amends. Not with a snowplow but by recognizing the truth about the Trump administration and, more important, by working for justice for all those whom the administration harmed. Only when we work shoulder to shoulder to repair the damage of the last four years will we even begin to dig out of this storm.

How did folks react?

By all accounts, her ingrained position appears strangely — and chillingly — similar to that of other hardcore leftists: Trump supporters don’t really deserve any mercy or regard until they confess their wayward views. Then maybe, possibly, perhaps — if all the stars align — absolution maybe, possibly, perhaps can be offered.

Here’s how others reacted after Heffernan tweeted out her column:

  • “As a Trump supporter who shoveled my liberal neighbors driveway 2x last week you know what I was thinking? Nothing. I just did it,” one commenter said. “When my kids saw, they fought over who got to help next. Politics aside, I’m a nice person, raising nice people. My neighbors? They’re nice too.”
  • “When gifted with the milk of human kindness, you decide it’s better to make it curdle,” another user said. “Your soul is broken. I feel pity for you.”
  • “This is one of the most appalling op-eds I’ve ever read,” another commenter wrote. “The complete dearth of humanity; the seething, insular, self-satisfied resentment…if a neighbor reads this and doesn’t immediately pile snow on your house, they will continue, admirably, to exceed you in basic decency.”
  • “This is satire, right? Tell me it’s satire,” another user begged. “He plowed a driveway; he didn’t ask for your hand in marriage. I’m a Trumpster. I cook dinner & gourmet (I hope) snacks for my (black) Democrat neighbors because I like them, & that’s what neighbors do. Take a freaking BREATH!”

FBI: Air Controllers Threaten To Fly A Plane Into The Capitol To Avenge Qassem Soleimani

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has launched an investigation into a voice message in which air controllers threatened to fly a plane into the Capitol.  The audio was picked up on aviation radios, vowing to “avenge” the US assassination of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.

Pentagon Propaganda: 6 Things The Mainstream Media Isn’t Telling You About Soleimani’s Assassination

“We are flying a plane into the Capitol Wednesday. Soleimani will be avenged,” the mysterious message said, first received by air traffic controllers based in New York earlier this week, according to CBS News. The message refers to the American drone strike that killed the Iranian Quds Force leader near the Baghdad airport early last year.

This comes as reports of Trump supporters descend upon Washington D.C., the Capitol, to protest the election results. The alarming missive also came as Congress prepares to count Electoral College votes in the nation’s capital today. It is believed the message was designed to suggest an attack during those proceedings.

While it’s yet unclear who was behind the digitized voice recording, officials do not believe the threat is credible,” CBS reported – though the incident is nonetheless being investigated as a breach of air traffic frequencies. The culprit is thought to be based in the US, with Newsweek noting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had narrowed down the broadcast’s origin to a location on New York’s Long Island. –RT

A former Joint Terrorism Task Forces officer also voiced doubts that the perpetrators are Iranian, telling Newsweek: “Any advanced terror group or nation-state, whether Quds Force or Hezbollah, has demonstrated very professional operational security. The Iranian regime and its proxies would not telegraph plans and intentions relative to an attack. The forecasting of such an event would serve to harm their intentions rather than to instill fear.”

This could be a psyop, and based on the fact that this was telegraphed in a manner that the authorities in the U.S. picked it up, it could be being used to promote fear especially for those in Washington D.C. today.  But only time will tell.

So far, this is shaping up to be a chaotic week. Stay alert.

Germany hezbollah Intelwars Iran ISRAEL Terrorism

Germany bans Hezbollah after labeling Iran-backed militant group a ‘terror organization,’ conducts raids

Germany designated Lebanese militant and political group Hezbollah as a terror organization on Thursday. After outlawing the Iran-backed militant group, dawn raids were carried out at mosques to prevent the destruction of any evidence linking individuals or groups to Hezbollah.

German police raided four mosques with Hezbollah connections and private residences of the group’s leaders in Berlin, Bremen, Dortmund, Münster, and Recklinghausen.

“As the authority responsible for issuing the ban, the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building, and Community is of the opinion that Hezbollah openly calls for the violent elimination of the State of Israel and questions the right of the State of Israel to exist,” the German ministry said in a statement. “The organization is therefore fundamentally against the concept of international understanding, regardless of whether it presents itself as a political, social, or military structure.”

Steve Alter, a spokesman for German Federal Minister of the Interior Horst Seehofer, tweeted: “BM [Federal Minister] Seehofer today banned the activity of the Shiite terrorist organization Hezbollah (Party of God) in Germany. Police measures are underway in several federal states concurrently since the early hours of the morning. The rule of law is able to act in times of crisis.”

“The associations under investigation are suspected of forming part of Hezbollah due to their financial support and propaganda for the terrorist organization,” Seehofer said in a statement.

Hezbollah symbols are banned, and the group’s assets can be confiscated. There are believed to be approximately 1,000 Hezbollah activists in Germany.

The United States labels Hezbollah as a terrorist group, and the Trump administration issued sanctions on the Iran-backed militant group as recently as August 2019.

Richard Grenell, U.S. ambassador to Germany and acting director of National Intelligence, tweeted that “the world is a little bit safer” with Germany outlawing Hezbollah.

“We applaud the German government’s actions today against suspected Hizballah supporters. The government’s decision to act reflects the resolve of the West to confront the global threat posed by Hizballah,” Grenell said in a statement.

Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs Israel Katz called the ban “a valuable and significant step in the global fight against terrorism.”

“I call on additional European countries and the European Union to adopt this necessary policy and to recognize the organization for what it is: Hezbollah — both its military and political wings — constitutes a terror organization, and that is how it must be treated,” Katz said in a statement.

The European Union designated Hezbollah’s military wing a terror organization in 2013, but did not blacklist the group’s political wing. In 2012, Hezbollah’s deputy leader said Shia Islamist group did not divide itself into military and political branches, and that all elements were “in the service of the resistance” against Israel.

Britain’s finance ministry added the entire Hezbollah entity to its list of terrorist groups in February 2019. British Interior Minister Sajid Javis said United Kingdom authorities could “no longer able to distinguish between their already banned military wing and the political party.” The U.K. froze Hezbollah assets in January 2019.

Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, and Bahrain also designate the group in its entirety as a terrorist organization.
