Techno-Censorship: The Slippery Slope from Censoring ‘Disinformation’ to Silencing Truth

This article was originally published by John W. Whitehead at The Rutherford Institute.

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”? George Orwell

This is the slippery slope that leads to the end of free speech as we once knew it.

In a world increasingly automated and filtered through the lens of artificial intelligence, we are finding ourselves at the mercy of inflexible algorithms that dictate the boundaries of our liberties.

Once artificial intelligence becomes a fully integrated part of the government bureaucracy, there will be little recourse: we will be subject to the intransigent judgments of techno-rulers.

This is how it starts.

Martin Niemöller’s warning about the widening net that ensnares us all still applies.

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

In our case, however, it started with the censors who went after extremists spouting so-called “hate speech,” and few spoke out—because they were not extremists and didn’t want to be shamed for being perceived as politically incorrect.

Then the internet censors got involved and went after extremists spouting “disinformation” about stolen elections, the Holocaust, and Hunter Biden, and few spoke out—because they were not extremists and didn’t want to be shunned for appearing to disagree with the majority.

By the time the techno-censors went after extremists spouting “misinformation” about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines, the censors had developed a system and strategy for silencing the nonconformists. Still, few spoke out.

Eventually, “we the people” will be the ones in the crosshairs.

At some point or another, depending on how the government and its corporate allies define what constitutes “extremism, “we the people” might all be considered guilty of some thought crime or other.

When that time comes, there may be no one left to speak out or speak up in our defense.

Whatever we tolerate now—whatever we turn a blind eye to—whatever we rationalize when it is inflicted on others, whether in the name of securing racial justice or defending democracy or combatting fascism, will eventually come back to imprison us, one and all.

Watch and learn.

We should all be alarmed when prominent social media voices such as Donald TrumpAlex JonesDavid Icke, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are censored, silenced, and made to disappear from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram for voicing ideas that are deemed politically incorrect, hateful, dangerous or conspiratorial.

The question is not whether the content of their speech was legitimate.

The concern is what happens after such prominent targets are muzzled. What happens once the corporate techno-censors turn their sights on the rest of us?

It’s a slippery slope from censoring so-called illegitimate ideas to silencing the truth. Eventually, as George Orwell predicted, telling the truth will become a revolutionary act.

We are on a fast-moving trajectory.

Already, there are calls for the Biden administration to appoint a “reality czar” in order to tackle disinformation, domestic extremism, and the nation’s so-called “reality crisis.”

Knowing what we know about the government’s tendency to define its own reality and attach its own labels to behavior and speech that challenges its authority, this should be cause for alarm across the entire political spectrum.

Here’s the point: you don’t have to like Trump or any of the others who are being muzzled, nor do you have to agree or even sympathize with their views, but to ignore the long-term ramifications of such censorship would be dangerously naïve.

As Matt Welch, writing for Reason, rightly points out, “Proposed changes to government policy should always be visualized with the opposing team in charge of implementation.

In other words, whatever powers you allow the government and its corporate operatives to claim now, for the sake of the greater good or because you like or trust those in charge, will eventually be abused and used against you by tyrants of your own making.

As Glenn Greenwald writes for The Intercept:

The glaring fallacy that always lies at the heart of pro-censorship sentiments is the gullible, delusional belief that censorship powers will be deployed only to suppress views one dislikes, but never one’s own views… Facebook is not some benevolent, kind, compassionate parent or a subversive, radical actor who is going to police our discourse in order to protect the weak and marginalized or serve as a noble check on mischief by the powerful. They are almost always going to do exactly the opposite: protect the powerful from those who seek to undermine elite institutions and reject their orthodoxies. Tech giants, like all corporations, are required by law to have one overriding objective: maximizing shareholder value. They are always going to use their power to appease those they perceive wield the greatest political and economic power.

Welcome to the age of technofascism.

Clothed in tyrannical self-righteousness, technofascism is powered by technological behemoths (both corporate and governmental) working in tandem to achieve a common goal.

Thus far, the tech giants have been able to sidestep the First Amendment by virtue of their non-governmental status, but it’s a dubious distinction at best. Certainly, Facebook and Twitter have become the modern-day equivalents of public squares, traditional free speech forums, with the internet itself serving as a public utility.

But what does that mean for free speech online: should it be protected or regulated?

When given a choice, the government always goes for the option that expands its powers at the expense of the citizenry. Moreover, when it comes to free speech activities, regulation is just another word for censorship.

Right now, it’s trendy and politically expedient to denounce, silence, shout down and shame anyone whose views challenge the prevailing norms, so the tech giants are lining up to appease their shareholders.

This is the tyranny of the majority against the minority—exactly the menace to free speech that James Madison sought to prevent when he drafted the First Amendment to the Constitution—marching in lockstep with technofascism.

With intolerance as the new scarlet letter of our day, we now find ourselves ruled by the mob.

Those who dare to voice an opinion or use a taboo word or image that runs counter to the accepted norms are first in line to be shamed, shouted down, silenced, censored, fired, cast out, and generally relegated to the dust heap of ignorant, mean-spirited bullies who are guilty of various “word crimes” and banished from society.

For example, a professor at Duquesne University was fired for using the N-word in an academic context. To get his job back, Gary Shank will have to go through diversity training and restructure his lesson plans.

This is what passes for academic freedom in America today.

If Americans don’t vociferously defend the right of a minority of one to subscribe to, let alone voice, ideas, and opinions that may be offensive, hateful, intolerant, or merely different, then we’re going to soon find that we have no rights whatsoever (to speak, assemble, agree, disagree, protest, opt-in, opt-out, or forge our own paths as individuals).

No matter what our numbers might be, no matter what our views might be, no matter what party we might belong to, it will not be long before “we the people” constitute a powerless minority in the eyes of a power-fueled fascist state-driven to maintain its power at all costs.

We are almost at that point now.

The steady, pervasive censorship creep that is being inflicted on us by corporate tech giants with the blessing of the powers-that-be threatens to bring about a restructuring of reality straight out of Orwell’s 1984, where the Ministry of Truth polices speech and ensures that facts conform to whatever version of reality the government propagandists embrace.

Orwell intended 1984 as a warning. Instead, it is being used as a dystopian instruction manual for socially engineering a populace that is compliant, conformist, and obedient to Big Brother.

Nothing good can come from techno-censorship.

Again, to quote Greenwald:

Censorship power, like the tech giants who now wield it, is an instrument of status quo preservation. The promise of the internet from the start was that it would be a tool of liberation, of egalitarianism, by permitting those without money and power to compete on fair terms in the information war with the most powerful governments and corporations. But just as is true of allowing the internet to be converted into a tool of coercion and mass surveillance, nothing guts that promise, that potential, like empowering corporate overlords and unaccountable monopolists to regulate and suppress what can be heard.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, these internet censors are not acting in our best interests to protect us from dangerous, disinformation campaigns. They’re laying the groundwork to preempt any “dangerous” ideas that might challenge the power elite’s stranglehold over our lives.

Therefore, it is important to recognize the thought prison that is being built around us for what it is: a prison with only one route of escape—free thinking and free speaking in the face of tyranny.

Trump: “It’s Too Soon To Give Up” The Election Fight

Donald Trump has expressed his irritation at politicians such as Mitch McConnell who congratulated Joe Biden after the electoral college voted to further cement the Democrats’ win. But Trump has not thrown in the towel, and says it’s “too soon to give up!”

Trump took to his social media of choice, Twitter, on Wednesday, venting his anger at the top Republican senator’s words, according to a report by RT.  “Mitch, 75,000,000 VOTES, a record for a sitting President (by a lot). Too soon to give up. Republican Party must finally learn to fight. People are angry!” he wrote.

The remark from Trump came in response to a statement made by McConnell on Tuesday in which he acknowledged Biden’s win after the electoral college vote, congratulating him and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris. “The Electoral College has spoken,” McConnell said, noting that “as of this morning, our country has a president-elect and a vice president-elect” even though “many millions of us had hoped the presidential election would yield a different result.”

McConnell has reportedly privately warned fellow Republican senators against challenging the election results, urging them to not dispute the Electoral College decision during the upcoming joint session of Congress to confirm the results. The session is scheduled to take place on January 6. The words of the Senate majority leader have angered Trump’s supporters, with the most hardcore going so far as to accuse McConnell of being a “traitor.”

“McConnell just wants power, influence, & money. He is willing to sell America to get what he wants. McConnell is a traitor to American Patriots,” Trump campaign attorney Lin Wood said.

The Trump campaign appears poised to stick this out for the next month as things continue to unravel.  At this point, though, the division between the left and right has never been wider.  No republican will accept a Biden presidency and not democrat will accept another four years of Trump.

The time to wake up to this division is now. Be aware of what’s happening but don’t get sucked in. Stay the course, stay prepared, and know the real-world ramifications of either one of these two being inaugurated next month. Either way, there will be consequences.

Biden Gains On Trump In PA, Takes Lead In Georgia, As Day Three Of Post-Election Counting Continues

This article was originally published by Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge.

As we head into day three of counting the ballots, Philadelphia City Commissioner Al Schmidt told CNN he expects an update in the next few hours as they kept counting through the night.

There are 50,000 votes left to be counted there, he said. Despite a dustup that was the result of observers from both the Trump and Biden campaigns have been present observing the counting process, Schmidt said. “We have no doubt when the count is finished, Senator Harris and I will be declared the winners” he added.

Here’s the most up to date map from Bloomberg:

Source: Bloomberg

In Georgia, Biden took a lead of more than 900 votes at about 0430 Friday morning: the lead has since grown to 1,096 votes. He gained the lead initially came after Clayton County in the Atlanta suburbs reported a bucket of ballots. Biden had been winning a huge proportion of the votes in that area. Other Atlanta suburbs are still reporting.

In PA, Trump’s lead stood at 18,229 votes at 0600ET though it seems to steadily be shrinking. More mailed-in ballots, which Biden is winning by a healthy margin, are still expected to be counted, with many of them from the heavily Democratic city of Philadelphia and its suburbs. More mailed-in ballots are also set to be counted on Friday in Allegheny County, the home of Pittsburgh.

However, in Georgia, a local reporter summed up the situation with all the attendant frustration and vitriol. Robin Kemp, the reporter in Clayton County, acknowledged that “yes” the votes are still being counted” and that no clear winner has emerged.

If, by some miracle, Biden does pull off a victory in Georgia, it would be a historic moment for Dems. But it wouldn’t necessarily translate to a victory: Also, for readers who aren’t familiar with the other votes that take days to fully count these are validly cast ballots, just being counted now.

Biden also retains leads in the states of Nevada and Arizona, where ballots are still being counted, and mail-in ballots from thousands of older retirees remain to be counted.

With PA remaining the biggest available prize, every major network has Biden leading with at least 253 electoral votes, meaning that if he were to win Pennsylvania and its 20 electoral votes, he would have more than the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. Fox News and the Associated Press have both called the race for Biden in Arizona, projecting him as the winner of that state’s 11 electoral votes, though other networks have abstained.

Trump Vows To Take Election Decision To The Supreme Court

President Donald Trump has already declared victory in the election and says he’s going to have to take the decision to the Supreme Court. “Frankly, we did win this election,” Trump said.

Remember, Trump just appointed Justice Amy Coney Barrett who Nancy Pelosi has called an “illegitimate justice.” This election battle has only just begun. Bringing the Supreme Court into it when democrats are declaring a justice illegitimate is going to ignite more chaos than we could imagine. A decision by the Supreme Court won’t even be accepted, and that’s become obvious. This is not the first time Trump has said the election will be decided by the Supreme court either:

More Preplanned Election Chaos: Trump Says The Supreme Court Will “Sort Out” The Election

Trump also said that “fraud” is underway to steal the victory away from him and added that he will ask the Supreme Court to protect the integrity of the process. The incumbent president spoke early Wednesday morning at the White House, claiming victory in several states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, and Wisconsin, where the media has so far not projected a win for either candidate, according to a report by RT.

In the end, it really doesn’t matter who is declared the winner.  Neither side will accept a loss and a contested election and the promised chaos will ensue. It doesn’t matter who you voted for, deep down, you know this is a fact.

“We want all voting to stop. We don’t want them to find any ballots at four o’clock in the morning, Trump said. Trump also thanked his supporters and the members of his campaign. He pledged that those who voted for him will not be “disenfranchised” by “a very sad group of people.”

America After the Election: A Few Hard Truths About the Things That Won’t Change

This article was originally published by John W. Whitehead at The Rutherford Institute.

“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”—George Orwell

The American people remain eager to be persuaded that a new president in the White House can solve the problems that plague us.

Yet no matter who wins this presidential election, you can rest assured that the new boss will be the same as the old boss, and we—the permanent underclass in America—will continue to be forced to march in lockstep with the police state in all matters, public and private.

Indeed, it really doesn’t matter what you call them—the Deep State, the 1%, the elite, the controllers, the masterminds, the shadow government, the police state, the surveillance state, the military-industrial complex—so long as you understand that no matter which party occupies the White House in 2021, the unelected bureaucracy that actually calls the shots will continue to do so.

In the interest of liberty and truth, here are a few hard truths about life in the American police state that will persist no matter who wins the 2020 presidential election. Indeed, these issues persisted—and in many cases flourished—under both Republican and Democratic administrations in recent years.

Police militarization will continue. Thanks to federal grant programs allowing the Pentagon to transfer surplus military supplies and weapons to local law enforcement agencies without charge, police forces will continue to be transformed from peace officers to heavily armed extensions of the military, complete with jackboots, helmets, shields, batons, pepper-spray, stun guns, assault rifles, body armor, miniature tanks, and weaponized drones. “Today, 17,000 local police forces are equipped with such military equipment as Blackhawk helicopters, machine guns, grenade launchers, battering rams, explosives, chemical sprays, body armor, night vision, rappelling gear, and armored vehicles,” stated Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. “Some have tanks.”

Overcriminalization will continue. In the face of a government bureaucracy consumed with churning out laws, statutes, codes, and regulations that reinforce its powers and value systems and those of the police state and its corporate allies, we will all continue to be viewed as petty criminals, guilty of violating some minor law. Thanks to an overabundance of 4,500-plus federal crimes and 400,000-plus rules and regulations, it is estimated that the average American actually commits three felonies a day without knowing it. In fact, according to law professor John Baker, “There is no one in the United States over the age of 18 who cannot be indicted for some federal crime.” Consequently, we now find ourselves operating in a strange new world where small farmers who dare to make unpasteurized goat cheese and share it with members of their community are finding their farms raided, while home gardeners face jail time for daring to cultivate their own varieties of orchids without having completed sufficient paperwork. This frightening state of affairs—where a person can actually be arrested and incarcerated for the most innocent and inane activities, including feeding a whale and collecting rainwater on their own property—is due to what law scholars refer to as overcriminalization.

Jailing Americans for profit will continue. At one time, the American penal system operated under the idea that dangerous criminals needed to be put under lock and key in order to protect society. Today, as states attempt to save money by outsourcing prisons to private corporations, imprisoning Americans in private prisons run by mega-corporations has turned into a cash cow for big business. In exchange for corporations buying and managing public prisons across the country at a supposed savings to the states, the states have to agree to maintain a 90% occupancy rate in the privately run prisons for at least 20 years. Such a scheme simply encourages incarceration for the sake of profits, while causing millions of Americans, most of them minor, nonviolent criminals, to be handed over to corporations for lengthy prison sentences which do nothing to protect society or prevent recidivism. Thus, although the number of violent crimes in the country is down substantially, the number of Americans being jailed for nonviolent crimes such as driving with a suspended license is skyrocketing.

Poverty will continue. Despite the fact that we have 46 million Americans living at or below the poverty line16 million children living in households without adequate access to food, and at least 900,000 veterans relying on food stamps (mind you, these are pre-COVID numbers, which have only got worse during this pandemic), enormous sums continue to be doled out for presidential excursions (taxpayers have been forced to pay at least $100 million so that Donald Trump could visit his golf clubs and private properties more than 500 times during his four years in office).

Endless wars that enrich the military-industrial complex will continue. Having been co-opted by greedy defense contractors, corrupt politicians, and incompetent government officials, America’s expanding military empire is bleeding the country dry at a rate of more than $15 billion a month (or $20 million an hour)—and that’s just what the government spends on foreign wars. That does not include the cost of maintaining and staffing the 1000-plus U.S. military bases spread around the globe. Incredibly, although the U.S. constitutes only 5% of the world’s population, America boasts almost 50% of the world’s total military expenditure, spending more on the military than the next 19 biggest spending nations combined. In fact, the Pentagon spends more on war than all 50 states combined spend on health, education, welfare, and safety. Yet what most Americans fail to recognize is that these ongoing wars have little to do with keeping the country safe and everything to do with enriching the military-industrial complex at taxpayer expense. Consider that since 2001, Americans have spent $10.5 million every hour for numerous foreign military occupations, including in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Police shootings of unarmed Americans will continue. No matter what our party politics, race, religion, or any other distinction used to divide us, we all suffer when violence becomes the government’s calling card. Remember, in a police state, you’re either the one with your hand on the trigger or you’re staring down the barrel of a loaded gun. At least 400 to 500 innocent people are killed by police officers every year. Indeed, Americans are now eight times more likely to die in a police confrontation than they are to be killed by a terrorist. Americans are 110 times more likely to die of foodborne illness than in a terrorist attack. Police officers are more likely to be struck by lightning than be made financially liable for their wrongdoing. As a result, Americans are largely powerless in the face of militarized police.

SWAT team raids will continue.  More than 80,000 SWAT team raids are carried out every year on unsuspecting Americans for relatively routine police matters. Nationwide, SWAT teams have been employed to address an astonishingly trivial array of criminal activity or mere community nuisances including angry dogs, domestic disputes, improper paperwork filed by an orchid farmer, and misdemeanor marijuana possession, to give a brief sampling. On an average day in America, over 100 Americans have their homes raided by SWAT teams. There has been a notable buildup in recent years of SWAT teams within non-security-related federal agencies such as the Department of Agriculture, the Railroad Retirement Board, the Tennessee Valley Authority, the Office of Personnel Management, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Education Department.

The government’s war on the American people will continue.  “We the people” are no longer shielded by the rule of law. While the First Amendment—which gives us a voice—is being muzzled, the Fourth Amendment—which protects us from being bullied, badgered, beaten, broken, and spied on by government agents—is being disemboweled. Consequently, you no longer have to be poor, black, or guilty to be treated like a criminal in America. All that is required is that you belong to the suspect class—that is, the citizenry—of the American police state. As a de facto member of this so-called criminal class, every U.S. citizen is now guilty until proven innocent. The oppression and injustice—be it in the form of shootings, surveillance, fines, asset forfeiture, prison terms, roadside searches, and so on—will come to all of us eventually unless we do something to stop it now.

Government corruption will continue.  The government is not our friend. Nor does it work for “we the people.” Americans instinctively understand this. When asked to name the greatest problem facing the nation, Americans of all political stripes ranked the government as the number one concern. In fact, almost eight out of ten Americans believe that government corruption is widespread. Our so-called government representatives do not actually represent us, the citizenry. We are now ruled by an oligarchic elite of governmental and corporate interests whose main interest is in perpetuating power and control. Congress is dominated by a majority of millionaires who are, on average, fourteen times wealthier than the average American.

The rise of the surveillance state will continue. Government eyes are watching you. They see your every move: what you read, how much you spend, where you go, with whom you interact when you wake up in the morning, what you’re watching on television and reading on the internet. Every move you make is being monitored, mined for data, crunched, and tabulated in order to form a picture of who you are, what makes you tick, and how best to control you when and if it becomes necessary to bring you in line. Police have been outfitted with a litany of surveillance gear, from license plate readers and cell phone tracking devices to biometric data recorders. Technology now makes it possible for the police to scan passersby in order to detect the contents of their pockets, purses, briefcases, etc. Full-body scanners, which perform virtual strip-searches of Americans traveling by plane, have gone mobile, with roving police vans that peer into vehicles and buildings alike—including homes. Coupled with the nation’s growing network of real-time surveillance cameras and facial recognition software, soon there really will be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

The erection of a suspect society will continue. Due in large part to rapid advances in technology and a heightened surveillance culture, the burden of proof has been shifted so that the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty has been usurped by a new norm in which all citizens are suspects. This is exemplified by police practices of stopping and frisking people who are merely walking down the street and where there is no evidence of wrongdoing. Making matters worse are Terrorism Liaison Officers (firefighters, police officers, and even corporate employees) who have been trained to spy on their fellow citizens and report “suspicious activity,” which includes taking pictures with no apparent aesthetic value, making measurements and drawings, taking notes, conversing in code, espousing radical beliefs and buying items in bulk. TLOs report back to “fusion centers,” which are a driving force behind the government’s quest to collect, analyze, and disseminate information on American citizens.

Government tyranny under the reign of an Imperial President will continue. The Constitution invests the President with very specific, limited powers: to serve as Commander in Chief of the military, grant pardons, make treaties (with the approval of Congress), appoint ambassadors and federal judges (again with Congress’ blessing), and veto legislation. In recent years, however, American presidents have anointed themselves with the power to wage war, unilaterally kill Americans, torture prisoners, strip citizens of their rights, arrest and detain citizens indefinitely, carry out warrantless spying on Americans, and erect their own secretive, shadow government. The powers amassed by each past president and inherited by each successive president—powers which add up to a toolbox of terror for an imperial ruler—empower whoever occupies the Oval Office to act as a dictator, above the law and beyond any real accountability. The grim reality we must come to terms with is the fact that the government does whatever it wants, freedom be damned. More than terrorism, more than domestic extremism, more than gun violence and organized crime, the U.S. government has become a greater menace to the life, liberty, and property of its citizens than any of the so-called dangers from which the government claims to protect us. This state of affairs has become the status quo, no matter which party is in power.

The government’s manipulation of national crises in order to expand its powers will continue. “We the people” have been subjected to an “emergency state” that justifies all manner of government tyranny and power grabs in the so-called name of national security. Whatever the so-called threat to the nation—whether it’s civil unrest, school shootings, alleged acts of terrorism, or the threat of a global pandemic in the case of COVID-19—the government has a tendency to capitalize on the nation’s heightened emotions, confusion and fear as a means of extending the reach of the police state. Indeed, the government’s answer to every problem continues to be more government—at taxpayer expense—and less individual liberty.

The bottom line is this: nothing taking place on Election Day will alleviate the suffering of the American people. Unless we do something more than a vote, the government as we have come to know it—corrupt, bloated, and controlled by big-money corporations, lobbyists, and special interest groups—will remain unchanged. And “we the people”—overtaxed, overpoliced, overburdened by big government, underrepresented by those who should speak for us and blissfully ignorant of the prison walls closing in on us—will continue to trudge along a path of misery.

As I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, these problems will continue to plague our nation unless and until Americans wake up to the fact that we’re the only ones who can change things for the better and then do something about it. If there is to be any hope of restoring our freedoms and reclaiming control over our government, it will rest not with the politicians but with the people themselves.

After all, Indeed, the Constitution opens with those three vital words, “We the people.”

What the founders wanted us to understand is that we are the government.

There is no government without us—our sheer numbers, our muscle, our economy, our physical presence in this land. There can also be no police state—no tyranny—no routine violations of our rights without our complicity and collusion—without our turning a blind eye, shrugging our shoulders, allowing ourselves to be distracted, and our civic awareness diluted.

No matter which candidate wins this election, the citizenry and those who represent us need to be held accountable to this powerful truth.

America After the Election: A Few Hard Truths About the Things That Won’t Change

This article was originally published by John W. Whitehead at The Rutherford Institute.

AMERICA VOTES: Are Trump Crusaders CORRECT?

This article was contributed by Portfolio Wealth Global.

Today, America is voting. One year ago, at this time, President Trump was pretty confident that he’d win a 2nd term. After all, tax cuts and major regulatory hurdles were removed. Through a combination of natural trends that were in motion and his administration’s policies, America was booming, economically speaking and the improvement was felt by enough Americans to give Trump a landslide victory.

Covid-19 opened the door for Democrats to re-enter the presidential race, so to speak; it forced Mr. Trump to manage a healthcare crisis, which is obviously not what he really wants to do, as a business-oriented individual. Many millions who weren’t raving Trump fans, but were quite happy with the way their careers and finances were going, were laid-off and now had an excuse to change their tune on the Republican Party.

It’s pretty safe to say that President Trump hates this virus, from a personal perspective. He was riding on the gravy train until it came along and forever changed many aspects of our lives, at least for the next 5-10 years.

The markets have changed as well; the puck has moved towards fiscal stimulus and away from a monetary one. Tens of millions of Millennials have now become actively involved in stocks.

If, up until now, any word uttered from the mouths of Bernanke, Yellen or Powell, caused trillions of dollars to change hands, the next president will have an impact even greater than that. There are new top-trending fund managers; less than 1% of the population has truly realized just how different of a world we are entering.

The markets are now following what Congress does more than it cares for what the Federal Reserve can do. As a child, if you’d gone to Six Flags and went on the same ride a few times, even if it was the best one, the thrill factor had a diminishing effect. Even if there were no lines and you could do it time and again, most kids wouldn’t.

They’d much rather try a brand-new ride, a rollercoaster that they’ve never seen before – one with new colors and a fresh design in another part of the park.

Fiscal stimulus measures like direct deposits, checks to the bank account, and other socio-economic policies, which we will see in the years ahead, will be a critical catalyst for markets. They will be much broader in scope than Medicare, Medicaid, or Social Security, and include demographics much younger than retirees.

We believe the U.S. government will act in such a way that inflationary expectations will rise, while the FED will attempt to suppress rates, thus sustaining negative real rates (as we’ve predicted for more than a year), while leaving the nominal bond yield in the positive range.

Trump or Biden; Washington will be fully engaged in MASSIVE DEFICIT SPENDING in this decade and commodity investors will flourish.

2020 Election burning cities chaos concede Conspiracy Fact and Theory contested election Derrick Broze Donald Trump election elections are selections Event 201 government models Headline News Intelwars Joe Biden political parasites Polls puppets refuse to participate Violence voting is a scam wake up

Secret Models of “The Darkest Winter”

Winter is coming and with it, more totalitarian overreaches, burning cities, violence, and chaos, no matter who “wins” the upcoming election (which has already been determined to go a certain way based on modeling and the agenda of the elitists). If you are still under some kind of delusion that your vote actually matters, it’s time to wake up.

Derrick Broze says: “We are in the last few months of a tumultuous year and it appears there might be more unprecedented events on the way. As we near election 2020, it’s important to step back and analyze the potential plans of the Predator Class. Specifically, it’s important to understand a number of recent government simulations and exercises.”

A number of recent simulations of the United States 2020 election are telling.  The plan is to make it appear as though voting matters, so both sides get upset when a winner isn’t determined immediately. This will result in chaos and potential civil war, and this website has already warned you of this election modeling. It would be easy to dismiss these exercises as politically driven fantasy if the people involved had not already publicly advised their candidate not to concede the election under any circumstances.

“Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.” ? Joseph Stalin

People have been content to hand over their power to political overlords by voting. When this happens and the division in a country is so strong, the potential for chaos is off the charts. Most recently, media reports indicated the Transition Integrity Project (TIP) held a number of exercises simulating what might happen in the event Donald Trump loses the 2020 election but refuses to leave office.

The Boston Globe reported that the TIP met in June to simulate the 11-week period between Election Day on November 3rd and Inauguration Day on January 20, 2021. The exercises state that “Trump and his Republican allies used every apparatus of government — the Postal Service, state lawmakers, the Justice Department, federal agents, and the military — to hold onto power, and Democrats took to the courts and the streets to try to stop it.” –Activist Post

More Preplanned Election Chaos: Trump Says The Supreme Court Will “Sort Out” The Election

What’s more, is there was a government exercise called “the dark winter”:

The Dark Winter exercise took place in June 2001, only months before the 9/11 attacks. This exercise took place at Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs, Maryland, and involved several Congressmen, a former CIA director, a former FBI director, government insiders, and privileged members of the press. The exercise simulated the use of smallpox as a biological weapon against the American public.

During the Dark Winter exercise authorities attempt to stop the spread of “dangerous misinformation” and “unverified” cures, just like with the Event 201 simulation. Dark Winter further discusses the suppression and removal of civil liberties, such as the possibility of the President to invoke “The Insurrection Act”, which would allow the military to act as law enforcement upon request by a State governor, as well as the possibility of “martial rule.” The script says martial rule may “include, but are not limited to, prohibition of free assembly, national travel ban, quarantine of certain areas, suspension of the writ of habeas corpus [i.e. arrest without due process], and/or military trials in the event that the court system becomes dysfunctional.” –Activist Post

The best thing you can do is refuse to participate in this gigantic scam, stay as far away from the polls as possible on election day, refuse to live in fear, and make sure you are prepared to defend yourself and family if chaos does break out. Do not add fuel to the fire by taking to the streets. To beat these psychopaths at their own game, all we have to do is stand up and refuse to play.

ballots Barack Obama beginning of the end belief Conspiracy Fact and Theory Coronavirus Donald Trump election Emergency Preparedness experts Forecasting Government government is a religion Headline News Illusion of Choice illusion of freedom Intelwars Joe Biden last election left vs. right paradigm lie Mail-in voting matrix no faith no government Philadelphia system voting is a scam Voting Machines

Will The 2020 Election Be The Beginning Of The End For Our System Of Government?

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

Most Americans assume that our system of government could never fail, but the truth is that it is failing right in front of our eyes.  In order for our system of government to work, people need to be able to believe that their votes will count and that the outcomes of our elections will be fair.

For over 200 years, most Americans did have faith in the system, but now things are rapidly changing.  Here in 2020, we appear to be heading for a hotly contested result in the presidential election, and many on the losing side are inevitably going to believe that the election was stolen from them.  And day after day we just continue to see more examples that indicate the security of our elections is being compromised on a widespread basis.  Not too long ago, I wrote about the military ballots for Trump that had been discarded in a dumpster in Pennsylvania and the ballots that were discovered in a ditch in Wisconsin.  And now today I came across a report about how memory sticks that are “used to program Philadelphia’s voting machines” were stolen from a warehouse…

A laptop and several memory sticks used to program Philadelphia’s voting machines were stolen from a city warehouse in East Falls, officials confirmed Wednesday, setting off a scramble to investigate and to ensure the machines had not been compromised.

Though it remains unclear when the equipment was stolen, sources briefed on the investigation said the items vanished this week. The laptop belonged to an on-site employee for the company that supplies the machines. It and the USB drives were the only items believed to have been taken.

We will want to watch the results coming out of Philadelphia very carefully because the winner of Pennsylvania is probably going to win the presidency.

In 2012, 100 percent of the vote went to Barack Obama in precinct after precinct in Philly, and it will be very interesting to see if a similar pattern emerges during this election.

Elsewhere, James O’Keefe has just exposed an absolutely shocking “cash-for-ballots harvesting scheme” in Minnesota.  Apparently, people were being paid lots of money to collect absentee ballots from elderly individuals and fill them out for preferred Democratic candidates.  The following comes from a Newsweek report

“Just today we got 300 for Jamal Osman,” Mohamed says in the video. “I have 300 ballots in my car right now.”

“Numbers don’t lie. You can see my car is full. All these here are absentee ballots. Look, all these are for Jamal Osman.”

Mohamed can be seen showing white envelopes on his car’s dashboard in a video from July 1. Later in the Project Veritas video Mohamed says, “Money is the king in this world… and a campaign is driven by money.”

How can an election be legitimate when there is this sort of vote-buying going on?

And now with tens of millions of ballots going through the mail in 2020, it is going to be easier to “harvest” ballots than ever before

I just have such a bad feeling about what is going to happen in November.

For weeks, the mainstream media has been trying to convince us that President Trump will probably have a lead on election night but that Joe Biden will win once all of the mail-in ballots are finally counted.

Of course, it could take a really long time for all of those ballots to be counted, and meanwhile, all sorts of monkey business could be happening in the background that we don’t know anything about.

In the end, one side is going to end up bitterly disappointed and will feel like the election has been stolen.  If Trump wins many Biden supporters will believe it was because all of the votes were not fairly counted and if Biden wins many Trump supporters will believe that there was widespread fraud involving mail-in ballots.

We could very easily end up with a scenario where both candidates are declaring victory, and that could set up a very ugly constitutional crisis.  In one of his recent articles, James Howard Kunstler detailed one way that this could all play out

  • The complicit newspapers and cable news channels publish polls showing Joe Biden leading in several swing states, even if it’s not true.
  • Facebook and Twitter amplify expectations of a Biden victory.
  • This sets the stage for a furor when it turns out that he loses on election night.
  • On cue, Antifa commences to riot all around the country. Meanwhile, a mighty harvest of mail-in votes pours into election districts utterly unequipped to validate them.
  • Lawfare cadres agitate in the contested states’ legislatures to send rogue elector slates to the electoral college. The dispute ends up in congress, which awaits a seating of newly-elected representatives on January 4, hopefully for Lawfare, mostly Democrats. Whoops…!
  • Turns out, the Dems lost their majority there too. Fighting in the streets ramps up and overwhelms hamstrung police forces in Democratic-run cities.
  • January 20 — Inauguration Day — rolls around, and the Dems ask the military to drag Trump out of the White House “with great dispatch!” as Mr. Biden himself put it so nicely back in the summer.

I do believe that Trump will have a lead on election night.

In fact, it could be a very big lead.

Trump has been trashing voting by mail for months, and this is going to encourage most of his supporters to vote in person.  In fact, during the first presidential debate, Trump once again talked about potential problems with mail-in votes

In the final segment of the contentious debate between Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, Trump launched into an extended argument against mail voting, claiming without evidence that it is ripe for fraud and suggesting mail ballots may be “manipulated.”

“This is going to be a fraud like you’ve never seen,” the president said of the massive shift to mail voting prompted by the coronavirus pandemic.

And the Republican National Committee has also been making disparaging statements about voting by mail…

‘We always expected to be behind at this point as Democrats have made it their mission to push for an all-mail election that brings fraud and chaos into the system,’ said Republican National Committee spokesman Mike Reed. ‘You’ll see Democrats predominantly vote by mail, and our voters will come out in droves to vote in person, especially on Election Day.’

Those that follow my work on a regular basis already know how I feel about voting by mail.  I believe that Americans should be required to vote in person whenever possible because voting by mail just opens up so many opportunities for things to go wrong.

And many on the left are starting to realize this too.  For example, the following comes from a recent article by Derek Thompson

Mail votes require several steps, and different steps in different locations, including postmarking the ballots, signing in various places, and using the proper number of envelopes. For that reason, it can confuse first-time voters, and even experienced voters used to queuing at local high schools. Two studies of the 2018 midterm elections in Florida and Georgia found that young and minority voters are especially likely to have their mail ballots rejected.

For most of 2020, Democrats have been relentlessly promoting voting by mail, but now they are beginning to understand that could result in hundreds of thousands of their votes being thrown out.  In fact, it is being reported that more than half a million votes were “disqualified” during the 2020 primaries…

In the 2020 primaries, more than 550,000 mail and absentee ballots were disqualified, a much higher number than four years ago. The problem is especially severe in some swing states. More than 23,000 mailed ballots were rejected in the presidential primaries in Wisconsin—more than Donald Trump’s margin of victory in that state in 2016. Deep-blue districts have had the same problem: New York City alone threw out more than 84,000 ballots this primary season.

In the end, Democrats could be sabotaging their own efforts by pushing mail-in voting so much.  If Democrats vote by mail in much higher numbers than Republicans, they will also likely have their votes disqualified in much higher numbers too.

Right now, Democrats are requesting mail ballots at a much higher rate than Republicans are in quite a few key swing states…

Of the more than 9 million voters who requested mail ballots as of Monday in five critical states where the data is available – Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maine and Iowa – 52 percent were Democrats, 28 percent were Republicans, and 20 percent were unaffiliated.

Additional internal Democratic and Republican Party data obtained by The Washington Post shows a similar trend in Ohio, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Wisconsin, the paper reported.

Many Republican operatives are deeply concerned about these numbers, but perhaps they shouldn’t be.

If Republicans show up in person at the polls in tremendous numbers, that could give Trump an enormous lead on election night.

Of course, Joe Biden will definitely not concede no matter how large the lead looks, and that will set the stage for weeks of legal wrangling over the counting of votes in multiple states.

Ultimately, we will probably have to wait a long time to see if the Democrats can come up with enough “mail-in ballots” to overcome Trump’s lead.

But this process is not going to be good for our nation no matter who ends up winning.

In fact, it is likely that millions of Americans will be so turned off by what happens that they will lose faith in the system permanently.

And once faith in our system is gone, it will be nearly impossible to get back.

“Twindemic”: Coronavirus & The Flu

We have been warned. Another “scamdemic” dubbed the “twindemic,” an increase in both coronavirus and flu infections, is all over the news. The fear is being ramped up as the mainstream media claims “experts” expect to see a surge in cases of both illnesses this fall and into winter.

If you haven’t braced for the potential of a horrifically tyrannical winter, now is the time to do so. As Ritchie from Boston often says: “these dudes are doing this.” They will do what it takes to get the New World Order, and Americans are far from unified. That means we won’t be able to stop this. Too many are going along with the NWO, casting a vote like it matters are worried about who wins the next (s)election.

But there’s a bigger problem looming, and it’s the expansion of tyranny we are all living under right now.  Ans the powers that should not be are already telling us what to expect, for those paying attention:

Cases of respiratory viruses like the one that causes COVID-19 tend to rise in the fall and winter months as temperatures drop and people spend more time indoors. Most pandemic models predict a surge starting in the fall and worsening into the winter that could rival or even surpass the worst days of the spring. One well-regarded forecast sees a “most likely” scenario of more than 3,000 deaths a day in December and nearly 400,000 cumulative coronavirus-related deaths by the end of the year.

That timeline coincides with the typical course of flu season, which on its own causes about 37,000 deaths a year in the U.S. The combined risk of the coronavirus and flu virus has led some experts to warn of a “twindemic” that could overwhelm the country’s health care capacity. –Yahoo News

In case you forgot, the overwhelming of the healthcare system was the reason given for the first lockdown. In order to prevent hospitals from having too many people to treat, we all had to lock ourselves away and give up our livelihoods for an overexaggerated outcome that never even came close to fruition. Since people were convinced the first time, it looks like they are using the same excuse the second time, in combination with the flu, ramping up the fear of both.

Wake up. This is manipulation and predictive programming. They are advertising their plans and they want a “twindemic.”

CDC Director Robert Redfield called “the worst fall, from a public health perspective, that we’ve ever had.”

Despite warnings about the risks of the coming months, many parts of the country are lifting lockdown restrictions on businesses and welcoming children back to schools. Yahoo News

They are going to blame the second wave and teindemic on people who didn’t want locked down under totalitarian dictatorship for a cold so severe, they have to test you to see if you have it.

2020 cast vote chaos chaotic Conspiracy Fact and Theory counting division Donald Trump. presidential election election Emergency Preparedness experts Forecasting Headline News Intelwars Joe Biden Mail-in ballots social unrest States Trump supporters democrats Violence Voting voting is a scam Winner

The Stage Has Been Set For The Most Chaotic Election In U.S. History

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The Economic Collapse Blog.

If you are deeply concerned about what is going to happen in November, you are definitely not alone.  Experts on both sides of the political spectrum have been warning that it is very likely that we will not know the winner of the presidential election until well after November 3rd, and everyone pretty much agrees that the period of uncertainly that we will be forced to endure will not be good for our nation.

Those of us that are old enough clearly remember the pain that the election of 2000 caused.  The outcome hinged on the results from the state of Florida, and the endless recounts were finally brought to a conclusion after 36 very stressful days with George W. Bush up by just 537 votes.  Unfortunately, some are saying that we are potentially facing “the 2000 election on steroids” because vote counting will be going on in multiple swing states long after election night is over.

The big reason why this election is going to be so different from previous elections is because so many Americans are going to be voting by mail.  According to one recent survey, a whopping 37 percent of all voters plan to cast their votes by mail this time around…

Thirty-seven percent of registered voters said they are likely to vote by mail in the November election, by receiving a mailed ballot and either mailing it back or returning it in person, according to a new survey released Tuesday by the Democracy Fund + UCLA Nationscape project.

Other estimates put the number as high as 40 percent, and it could go even higher than that because some states are promoting mail-in voting extremely aggressively.

In fact, as I detailed yesterday, one of my readers told me that he and his wife “have received three requests each for mail-in ballots” over the past five weeks.

We are also being told that Democrats are far more likely to vote by mail than Republicans are.  According to the same survey that I quoted above, supporters of Biden are more than twice as likely to vote by mail than Trump supporters are…

Among them, 48% of voters who plan to vote for Democratic presumptive nominee Joe Biden said they are likely to vote by mail, according to the survey. That’s more than twice the 23% of voters backing President Donald Trump who said they are likely to vote by mail.

It takes a lot of time to open and count ballots that have been mailed in.  If that work could be done in advance, that wouldn’t be that much of a problem.

Unfortunately, there are 14 states where it is prohibited by law to count mail-in ballots before Election Day, and that includes some of our most important swing states

Tens of millions of Americans will try to vote by mail because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But officials in 14 states are prohibited from processing mail-in ballots until Election Day; counting them could take days or weeks.

Those states include Pennsylvania and Michigan, battlegrounds that could decide the election.

It should deeply alarm all of us to hear that it “could take days or weeks” for some of these states to finally count every single ballot.

And that is just the first count.  I am not even talking about any potential recounts.

At this point, many Democrats are warning of a possible “red mirage” on the night of the election.  Many of them believe that it will look like President Trump is winning on election night, but that Joe Biden will ultimately win once all of the mail-in votes are finally counted.

As evidence, they point to the fact that there has been a “blue shift” in all national elections going back to 2004

Since 2004, mail-in ballots have been disproportionately Democratic, a phenomenon known as the “blue shift.”

So, barring a landslide, we could see a “red mirage” on Nov. 3, an election-night count of in-person votes that suggests that Trump has won — even though millions of votes for Biden are waiting to be tabulated.

Personally, I do believe that it is very likely that President Trump will be leading on the night of the election, but what is really going to matter is what happens during the days that follow.

If a Trump lead evaporates and Biden is eventually declared the winner, there will be widespread allegations that the election was stolen, and that could cause tremendous explosions of anger.

And the big tech companies are already preparing for post-election chaos.  In fact, Facebook has openly announced that they will purposely “restrict the circulation of content” in order to try to control civil unrest…

Facebook announced this week that it may restrict certain aspects of its platform following November’s general election as part of a larger effort to limit social unrest. A spokesperson for Facebook suggested that executives including Sheryl Sandberg and Mark Zuckerberg may censor specific information if they believe it is likely to heighten political tensions following the election.

According to a report by the Financial Times, Facebook announced this week that it will “restrict the circulation of content” following November’s election to curb violence and social unrest. The announcement follows efforts by Facebook to address concerns from those who have alleged that the platform aids in voter suppression and promotes election-misinformation.

What is this country going to look like if it takes weeks or even months to officially declare a winner?

No matter who ends up winning, I believe that the process is so flawed that it is going to tear the country apart.

And no matter what the final result is, a large percentage of the population will never accept the outcome as being legitimate.

This is already one of the most difficult chapters in U.S. history, and a bitterly contested election result will only make things even worse.

At this point, even the mainstream media is admitting that we are heading into “wild” times.  The following comes from CNN

Ask anyone about the next six weeks and they will likely give you some version of this as a response: Whoa boy. It is going to be wild.

Which it is! The last 42 days of a presidential election are always filled with unpredictable storylines, big moments and, more than anything, uncertainty.

Just about the only way that we can avoid the type of scenario that I have described is if there is an overwhelming landslide on election night.

Wouldn’t that be nice if that actually happened?

It would be wonderful if one of the candidates conceded on November 3rd or November 4th and we could avoid weeks or even months of endless national strife, but I don’t think that is going to happen.

Instead, I believe that both sides are going to fight to the bitter end, and the end will definitely be very bitter indeed.

Bill Clinton Donald Trump election Howard Katz Intelwars Jesse Waters Joe Biden left-right paradigm Newt Gingrich political puppets Post Office rigged voting is a scam Washington

NEWT SAYS TRUMP’S GONNA WIPE THE FLOOR WITH BIDEN AND WITH A VICTORY ‘DRAMATICALLY BIGGER’ THAN MOST EXPECT

This article was originally published by Duncan Smith at The National Sentinal.

Few in and around Washington have their finger on the pulse of the nation than former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

The political tea reader and former Georgia Republican and House Speaker was the one who designed the “Contract With America” that was instrumental in the GOP retaking control of the lower chamber for the first time in decades two years into President Bill Clinton’s first term.

He’s got his finger in the political winds constantly. He knows the ground game better than most.

And he says that President Trump’s not only going to beat Democratic nominee Joe Biden, but wipe the floor with him.

Per Trending Politics:

“I’m predicting that it will be a dramatically bigger victory than people currently expect,” Gingrich told host Jesse Waters on Saturday night.

A Trump victory is “beginning to build,” Gingrich added.

Gingrich encouraged Republicans to point out their differences from Democrats in order to bolster Trump’s chances.

“We don’t have to want to make stuff up. We don’t have to invent some post office phony scandal. We just have to tell the truth about how radical these people are,” Gingrich said.

Gingrich also said the growing violence and chaos in Democratic-controlled cities like Chicago, Seattle, and Portland will hurt Democrats and help Trump.

“Rioting every day for 90 days, that begins to be a fact. And it was very interesting to me that neither Biden nor Harris was willing to say a word about Antifa, [not] a word about a level of crime,” he said.

“You know, [we] have the mayor of Chicago announcing that she’s going to have police on her own personal street because she wants her family to be safe. But good luck to the rest of the city,” Gingrich added. “Well, I think this stuff sinks in at a level of reality that even NBC News can’t cover-up.”

We know that opinions are like belly buttons — everyone has one.

But Newt’s been around a long time. He knows DC. He knows America. And he knows President Trump.
