“This is Martial Law”—US Soldiers Force Women from Car at Gunpoint for Pumping Gas Past Curfew

This article was originally published by Matt Agorist at The Free Thought Project.

On April 11, 2021, just miles from where George Floyd took his last breaths on Earth as they were squeezed from his body by officer Derek Chauvin, Daunte Wright was targeted by police over an alleged expired tag. Because the American police state is a violent behemoth that knows no self-restraint, a few moments into the stop and Wright would be killed at the hands of those who claim to protect him.

The unjust nature of Wright’s death sparked a massive backlash in the form of protests and riots leading to Mayor Jacob Frey of Minneapolis declaring a state of emergency.

With the curfew implemented and hundreds of protesters arrested for simply being outside too late, the unrest tapered off last week. However, videos have surfaced showing some rather shocking scenes unfold as Minneapolis and the surrounding areas turned into an outright militarized police state.

Even folks who were not involved in the protests have been rounded up under what many are saying appears to be martial law. Over the weekend, a video surfaced of the heavy-handed militarized tactics being used by both police and military who were called in to quell the unrest. It is nothing short of shocking.

According to the person who posted the video, several women, not affiliated with the protests, were attempting to gas up their vehicle — apparently after curfew — when heavily armed soldiers surrounded their car. The soldiers then ordered the women from the car with AR-15 rifles pointed at their heads.

As the completely harmless women, one of them in yoga pants, is ordered out of the vehicle, they are then forced to kneel on the ground with their hands on their heads. The scene was akin to a raid on the Taliban in Kabul but happened in Minneapolis, and instead of the Taliban, it was innocent women in yoga pants.

Naturally, the footage has sparked criticism online with many comparing the scene to martial law.

“Whoever ordered this idiocy shld be unceremoniously & summarily removed from office. Arresting ppl at a MN gas station—pointing military grade assault rifles in their faces—is just outrageous. No elected official shld ever get away w this,” one Twitter user wrote.

“When there is widespread civil unrest, a state basically has 2 options: 1 – make a few concessions to public demands, or 2 – use tyrannical force to quell the unrest. And it’s quite obvious the direction our ruling class wants to go as public anger and despair continues to grow,” another tweet read.

Predictably, the debate online devolved into Twitter users blaming Donald Trump or Joe Biden — depending on which side of the political trough they choose to feed. Unfortunately, both of them miss the point as this militarized police state is bipartisan. It was here long before Trump and began ramping up under George W. Bush during antiwar protests and came to a head under Obama during the Ferguson unrest.

There was one difference, however, and some folks pointed out how the mainstream media didn’t even pick this story up at all now that Trump is out of office.

“This is the “return to normalcy” people were wanting. Because last year….whats happening in Minnesota, Portland, and Chicago right now would be on every news station and would be the top topics on Twitter. But now that the orange man is gone….we can talk about Cats again,” wrote one Twitter user.

Though this person is likely pro-Trump, his point holds merit. The national guard ordering women out of their car at gunpoint for pumping gas after curfew is most assuredly a national story — yet we couldn’t find a single mainstream media outlet who covered it.

When you watch the video below, remember as the mainstream media fills the airwaves with divisive propaganda, they are choosing not to show Americans the massive police state being constructed around them.

Biden’s Syria Attack: An Actual Impeachable Offense

This article was originally published by Ron Paul at The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

Last Thursday President Biden continued what has sadly become a Washington tradition: bombing Syria. The President ordered a military strike near the Iraqi-Syrian border that killed at least 22 people. The Administration claims it struck an “Iranian-backed” militia in retaliation for recent rocket attacks on US installations in Iraq.

As with Presidents Obama and Trump before him, however, Biden’s justification for the US strike and its targets is not credible. And his claim that the US attack would result in a “de-escalation” in the region is laughable. You cannot bomb your way toward de-escalation.

Biden thus joins a shameful club of US leaders whose interventions in the Middle East, and Syria specifically, have achieved nothing in the US interest but have contributed to the deaths of many thousands of civilians.

President Trump attacked Syria in 2018 in what he claimed was retaliation for the Assad government’s use of chemical weapons against its own citizens. The Trump Administration never proved its claim. Logic itself suggests how ridiculous it would have been for the Syrian president to have used chemical weapons in that situation, where they achieved no military purpose and would almost certainly guarantee further outside attacks against his government.

Trump’s 2018 attack only added to the misery of the Syrian people, who suffered under US sanctions and then suffered President Obama’s “Assad must go” intervention that trained and armed al-Qaeda affiliated groups to overthrow the government.

Trump’s airstrike on Syria did nothing to further real American interests in the region. But sending in 100 Tomahawk missiles to blow up a few empty buildings did a great deal to further the bottom line of missile-maker Raytheon.

Interestingly, Biden’s Secretary of Defense came to the Administration straight from his previous position on the board of, you guessed it, Raytheon. Libertarian educator Tom Woods once quipped that no matter who you vote for you get John McCain. Perhaps it’s also fair to say that no matter who you vote for you get to enrich Raytheon.

The Democrats wasted four years trying to remove Trump from office under the bogus “Russiagate” lie and then the equally ridiculous and discredited claim that Trump led an insurrection against the government on January 6th. Yet when Trump started raining bombs down on Syria with no Congressional declaration of war or even authorization, most Democrats stood up and cheered. Left-wing CNN talking head Fareed Zakaria swooned, “I think Donald Trump became president of the United States last night.”

In fact, initiating a war against a country that did not attack and does not threaten the United States without Congressional authority is an impeachable offense. But both parties – with a few exceptions – are war parties.

President Biden should be impeached for his attack on Syria, as should have Trump and Obama before him. But no one in Washington is going to pursue impeachment charges against a president who recklessly takes the United States to war. War greases Washington’s wheels.

Isn’t it strange how we’ve heard nothing about ISIS for the past couple of years, but suddenly the mainstream media tells us the ISIS is back and on the march? When President Biden says “America is back,” what he really means is “the war party is back.” As if they ever left.

Mayor of DC Reuested National Guard Presence at Wednesday’s MAGA Rally

Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser has requested National Guard troops to be present during Wednesday’s “Stop the Steal” rally in support of President Donald Trump. Bowser has also urged residents to avoid downtown as Trump supporters plan to descend on the United States capital to protest the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory.

The presence of the military during a rally is definitely a ramping up of tensions. However, ironically, the mayor made no such call for military help when Black Lives Matter protesters set fires, vandalized national monuments, and hurled rocks and bottles of urine at Secret Service agents earlier this year, as RT pointed out.

In fact, Bowser in June called on Trump to withdraw National Guard soldiers and other federal forces who had been deployed to help quell riots at the time.

“This Quickly Escalates Into Open Warfare” – Why The Government Is Preparing For Post-Election Chaos

Bowser’s office told media outlets on Monday that she had asked the National Guard to send about 340 unarmed troops to help District of Columbia police and firefighters to manage demonstrations by supporters of President Trump, but noted only 115 would be deployed at once. The mayor advised Washington residents to stay out of the downtown area and refrain from engaging with protesters who come to our city seeking confrontation.”

But some have been reminding the mayor of which groups have been notorious for violence and destruction.

The mayor has often sided with destructive and violent groups. She renamed a street in front of the White House Black Lives Matter Plaza and ordered that the BLM slogan be painted on the pavement in giant letters. Some people are rightly pointing out her cowardice and hypocrisy.

Perhaps the national guard presence is more about the possible confrontation between the two divided political factions, and less about who throws the first punch.  Hopefully, people start to figure out who is keeping the public divided so they can enslave them. Spoiler: It’s the ruling class, aka, politicians like Muriel Bowser.

Army investigating soldiers for appearing in uniform on DNC video

The U.S. Army announced Wednesday that it has launched an investigation into two soldiers who stood in uniform for a video that aired during the Democratic National Convention, saying the act violated Department of Defense rules that bar personnel from giving the impression that the military is offering a political endorsement.

What are the details?

The unnamed military personnel were seen standing behind the delegates representing American Samoa during roll call on the second night of virtual convention on Tuesday, a move the immediately sparked questions on social media about whether their appearance broke any rules.

The next day, Army spokesman Lt. Col. Emanuel Ortiz Cruz issued a statement saying, “The Army is investigating two soldiers from the 9th Mission Support Command who appeared in uniform during the Democratic National Convention on Aug.18,” while noting that “Wearing a uniform to a partisan political event like this is prohibited.”

“The Army follows the Department of Defense’s longstanding and well-defined policy regarding political campaigns and elections to avoid the perception of DoD sponsorship, approval or endorsement of any political candidate, campaign or cause,” he continued. “”Examples of prohibited political activities include campaigning for a candidate, soliciting contributions, marching in a partisan parade and wearing the uniform to a partisan event.”

When reached by The Hill for comment regarding the soldiers’ appearance on the broadcast, a DNC official said “the composition of that shot was an oversight.”

The official explained, “Each state was asked to highlight issues and values that matter most and the American Samoa delegation wanted to highlight their commitment to military service when they filmed their segment.”

The outlet pointed out that the Democratic Party’s 2020 platform states that the party “will never use active duty soldiers as political props, and we will never send military forces to suppress Americans exercising their constitutional rights.”

Military-focused publication Task and Purpose reported:

Defense Secretary Mark Esper issued a memo on Feb. 5 reminding service members to remain apolitical during this election cycle, but that is very difficult in a world where anyone with a phone can post pictures or video of troops making partisan statements.

To wit: The Navy launched an investigation after a petty officer was shown in a viral video yelling “F—k Trump” at protesters while she was in uniform.

Meanwhile, U.S. service members have brought red “Make America Great Again” campaign hats at events with Trump. The Navy separately punished sailors for attending a speech by the president while wearing “Make Aircrew Great Again” patches.

And last year, a major in the South Carolina Army National Guard was shown in a video telling Biden at a campaign event that she was praying he would be elected president.

Military Show of Force at Lincoln Memorial: Soldiers & Cops are Enforcing Tyranny

At the commands of the ruling class government, the police and military have decided to force tyranny and enslavement on the rest of us.  There has been little to no dissent from the order followers of the state, which doesn’t bode well for our future.

It seemed like we were making progress with waking up the masses.  However, there’s still a lot of people willing to enslave their fellow human beings on command. Soldiers and police are still only human beings, and as such bear moral culpability for the orders they follow.  As humans, they still have free will like the rest of us, and we need to make sure they understand that they are no better than the Gestapo at this point.

David Icke To LEOs & Military: “Look Your Children In The Eye” & Tell Them YOU Enforced Tyranny

A military show of force on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington caused a social-media uproar Tuesday night, and rightfully so. On American soil, the troops people have been stolen from for over a century to fund are now being used to make sure we submit to enslavement.

It’s time to open your eyes and look at whose boots are on your face.  The United States government is terrorizing the public and the military, made up of simple humans like the rest of us, are going along with it.  Don’t worry though. They are collecting a paycheck while a good number of Americans are out of work thanks to the government’s response to the plandemic.

The show of force came after President Donald Trump on Tuesday again urged governors to call in National Guard troops to quell nationwide protests that have often turned violent, after threatening Monday night to deploy military forces. On Monday, federal police aggressively cleared a peaceful crowd of protesters in front of the White House, so Trump could have a photo op at an historic church across the street, a move condemned Tuesday by many congressional Democrats but few Republicans. –Market Watch

We have to wake people up to what’s going on, or this will be the end of humanity.  We will all be slaves to be treated as the ruling class sees fit. If you thought we were nothing more than cattle before, brace yourself. It’s going to get a lot worse.  There are only two options and I’ve said this before. One, submission to enslavement and forever loss freedom to the point that humans will never even know what the word means.  Two, learn and wake up to the fact that no human should ever have power over any other human for any reason. That’s slavery. We will either be free, and the ruling class will be eliminated, or we will be slaves.  There are no other options. We cannot reform the government.  Any time power is given it will be abused.  That has been proven throughout history.

Jeff Berwick mentions these two options at the end of his most recent video (30:45). Which one would you prefer? You can’t be a slave and also be free.

Personally, I see a bright future. But it all depends on how many people wake up and stop letting other human beings enslave them. We are still a ways off from it, but it’s within our reach.

Idlib Intelwars killed Soldiers SYRIA TURKEY

Dozens of Turkish soldiers killed in Syrian airstrike, Turkey vows retaliation

Turkey said Thursday that dozens of their soldiers were killed in northwestern Syria in an airstrike carried out by the Syrian government, and a spokesman for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised Turkey would “retaliate against the illegal regime.”

What are the details?

The Associated Press reported that the governor of Turkey’s Hatay province, Rahmi Dogan, said 29 Turkish troops were killed and another 30-plus were wounded in an air strike carried out in the Syrian province of Idlib.

President Erdogan called an emergency meeting with his top security officials after the attack, according to The Washington Post, who cited local media reports.

Turkish officials blamed the Russian-backed Syrian government ruled by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for the attack, and Erdogan spokesman Fahrettin Altun promised Turkey would “retaliate against he illegal regime, which pointed their guns at us.”

The New York Times reported that the attack “could dramatically change the course of the Syrian war as fears grow of a direct conflict between Russia and Turkey, a NATO member.” The outlet noted Turkish protestors rallied outside the Russian Consulate in Istanbul, chanting, “Murder Russia! Murder Putin!”

According to The Times, the spokesman for President Erdogan’s Justice and Development Party told CNN Turk news channel, “The attack against Turkey is an attack against NATO. NATO should have been with Turkey, not starting today but from before these events. We are expecting concrete actions on the safe zone and no-fly zone.”

Anything else?

Turkey also announced that it would not longer stop Syrian refugees from fleeing to Europe by land or sea, Reuters reported. A Turkish official told the outlet that Turkey’s police, coast guard and border security officials have all been told to stand down in anticipation of waves of more civilians fleeing Idlib.

Net tracking group NetBlocks.org reported on Twitter Thursday night after the attack that “social media have now been restricted in #Turkey for over two hours. Live network data show transfer of image/video content now also limited on WhatsApp following #Idlib incident.”

The organization noted that Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube have also been restricted in the country.
