Reporter Who Broke Clinton-Lynch Tarmac Story And Received ‘Significant’ Death Threats Found Dead

The body of a Birmingham, Alabama journalist who broke the story about the controversial 2016 tarmac meeting in Phoenix between former President Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch was found on Saturday morning of an ‘apparent suicide,’ according to

45-year-old Christopher Sign – a news anchor at ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, was discovered at around 8 a.m. by Hoover police and fire personnel, according to the report.

“Our deepest sympathy is shared with Christopher’s loving family and close friends. We have lost a revered colleague whose indelible imprint will serve forever as a hallmark of decency, honesty, and journalist integrity. We can only hope to carry on his legacy. May his memory be for blessing,” said ABC 33/40 Vice President and General Manager Eric Land in a statement.

The tarmac bombshell, which gave the appearance that Bill Clinton was privately pleading his wife’s email case after then-FBI James Comey launched a new investigation, is thought to have contributed to Hillary Clinton’s loss in 2016.

Sign, meanwhile, had complained last year of receiving ‘significant’ death threats, having his credit cards hacked, and creating code-words to use with his children.

Sign, an Emmy-award-winning reporter, made national headlines over the June 27, 2016 tarmac meeting at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport amid the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized server. The meeting between Clinton and Lynch occurred days before Comey announced that the bureau would not press charges against Hillary – after the agency changed internal language describing Clinton’s conduct from “gross negligence” to “extremely careless.”

“Gross negligence” is a legal term of art in criminal law often associated with recklessness. According to Black’s Law Dictionary, gross negligence is A severe degree of negligence taken as reckless disregard,” and “Blatant indifference to one’s legal duty, other’s safety, or their rights. “Extremely careless,” on the other hand, is not a legal term of art.

In addition to the “gross negligence” –> “extremely careless” edit (performed by disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok), the FBI removed a key justification for elevating Clinton’s actions to the standard of “gross negligence” – that being the “sheer volume” of classified material on Clinton’s server. In the original draft, the “sheer volume” of material “supports an inference that the participants were grossly negligent in their handling of that information.”

Also removed from Comey’s statement were all references to the Intelligence Community’s involvement in investigating Clinton’s private email server, as well as changing the language to downgrade the probability that Clinton’s server was hacked by hostile actors, changing their language from “reasonably likely” to “possible” – an edit which eliminated yet another justification for the phrase “Gross negligence.” To put it another way, “reasonably likely” means the probability of a hack due to Clinton’s negligence is above 50 percent, whereas the hack simply being “possible” is any probability above zero.

In short, Bill Clinton’s tarmac meeting appears to have had quite the effect on his wife’s investigation, despite the fact that she still lost. And now the guy who broke the story is dead.

Asset forfeiture Bribes Burisma CORRUPTION government is slavery Headline News Homeland Security Hunter biden Intelwars Joe Biden lobbyists power corrupts ruling class Scandal Ukrainian energy giant United States wake up

Hunter Biden Was Middleman Between Ukrainians And Democratic Lobbyists Currently Under Investigation

This article was originally published by Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge.

The smartest guy Joe Biden knows, Hunter Biden, acted as a middleman between Ukrainian energy giant Burisma and two Democratic lobbyists currently under investigation for failing to disclose their work for the scandal-plagued company, according to the Washington Free Beacons Chuck Ross.

Biden and colleagues at the private equity firm Rosemont Seneca helped Burisma Holdings hire Blue Star Strategies, a firm owned by former Clinton administration officials Sally Painter and Karen Tramontano. Biden’s emails show he played a bigger role than anyone had known in arranging Blue Star’s consulting work for Burisma. Neither Biden nor the Blue Star founders registered their work under the Lobbying Disclosure Act or the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

Biden’s work as a middleman could also explain why federal prosecutors began scrutinizing Blue Star’s work for Burisma. Republicans have scrutinized Biden over his work for the company, one of Ukraine’s largest natural gas producers, as well as with various Chinese companies. Federal prosecutors are also investigating Biden over his tax affairs and foreign business dealings. -Free Beacon

According to Politicofederal prosecutors began investigating whether Blue Star during its probe into Hunter’s taxes and have been looking into whether the company violated foreign agent laws by failing to disclose their work for Burisma – including meeting with US government officials to advocate on behalf of the Ukrainian company whose president.

Putting the pieces together… last December we learned from diplomatic memos that then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office was warned in 2015 that the Ukrainian oligarch who hired his son, Hunter, was deemed corrupt – and that the US Justice Department had gathered evidence to support that conclusion, according to Just The News.

I assume all have the DoJ background on Zlochevsky,” wrote former US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt in Kyiv in a 2015 letter to Biden’s top advisers, referring to Burisma Holdings founder Mykola Zlochevsky.

“The short unclas version (in non-lawyer language) is that US and UK were cooperating on a case to seize his corrupt assets overseas (which had passed through the US),” Pyatt added, noting that the asset forfeiture case against the Ukrainian billionaire “fell apart” when individuals in the Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office “acted to thwart the UK case.”

The memos, released last week by Senate committees investigating Hunter Biden, also reveal that the US Justice Department was involved in the 2014 asset forfeiture brought against Zlochevsky in the UK, right as Hunter Biden was hired to sit on the board of Burisma.

Multiple State officials have attested to the awkward appearance of a conflict of interest posed by Hunter’s position on the board as the United States led efforts to fight corruption in Ukraine. In a September 2015 speech, Pyatt railed against Ukrainian prosecutors for thwarting the UK asset forfeiture case against Zlochevsky.

Pyatt was recently deposed by investigators for the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee about the Ukraine controversy. Though his staff had reported an alleged Burisma bribe and believed the Bidens’ conduct in Ukraine created an apparent conflict, Pyatt said he never felt compelled to raise such concerns with the vice president.

So you never gave thought of raising a concern to the Vice President about this board position his son had?” a Senate investigator asked Pyatt during the deposition back in September.

“No,” the ambassador answered. “He’s the Vice President of the United States, and it would have been wildly out of place for me to raise something like that, especially insofar as it had zero impact on the work that I was doing.” –Just The News

What’s more, Hunter’s partner Devon Archer also served on the board of Burisma starting in May 2014 – where the pair was “tasked with finding investment projects for Burisma in the United States and Europe and boosting the company’s reputation.” The two earned over $80,000 per month to serve.

Burisma hired Blue Star in late 2015 to try to kill bribery investigations into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, a former minister of ecology and natural resources. Zlochevsky was under investigation in the United Kingdom for allegedly paying bribes to secure drilling contracts in Ukraine.

Burisma executive Vadym Pozharskyi emailed Biden and his partners on Nov. 2, 2015, with a list of “deliverables” he hoped Blue Star could provide the Ukrainian company. Pozharskyi said he wanted Blue Star to arrange for U.S. officials to express support for Zlochevsky. He said the “ultimate purpose” of the initiative was to shut down cases against Zlochevsky in Ukraine.

Biden responded on Nov. 5, 2015, telling Pozharskyi that he was confident Painter and Tramontano would deliver on the project and that Burisma should sign a contract with Blue Star. -Free Beacon

Meanwhile, let’s not forget that according to evidence from Hunter Biden’s laptop published by the New York Post, Biden didn’t just know about his son’s business dealings in Ukraine and elsewhere, he participated in them.

Cal cunningham affair Cheating Intelwars North Carolina Scandal Second Senate Town Hall

Democratic Senate candidate Cal Cunningham backs out of town hall after second cheating allegation

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Cal Cunningham withdrew from a town hall before North Carolina voters Monday, after a second cheating allegation emerged days after he admitted to sexting a woman who is not his wife.

Cunningham, who is married with two children, is challenging incumbent Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).

What are the details?

On Friday, Cunningham apologized after his campaign confirmed reports that he had exchanged texts of a sexual nature with a public relations strategist who is also married.

TheBlaze reported:

Cunningham said he won’t drop out of the Senate race following the sexting scandal. According to seven different polls, Cunningham leads his opponent, Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), by between 4 to 10 points heading into the election.

Then on Monday, National File — the publication that first broke the sexting scandal — reported that former Cunningham advocate and attorney Erin Brinkman said on Facebook of the Democrat, “He’s been having an affair with a good friend of mine since 2012. Not the woman mentioned in the story. Needless to say, my friend was devastated. But my feeling is, if they’ll cheat WITH you, they’ll cheat ON you!”

Brinkman added a quote from the late President John F. Kennedy, “Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer.”

After the story broke about the second accusation of unfaithfulness, Cunningham backed out of a town hall hosted by WUNC-FM that had been slated for the same day.

WUNC capitol bureau chief Jeff Tiberii tweeted, “A U.S. Senate town hall scheduled for Monday afternoon is off. Unfortunately @CalforNC has backed out. Organizers will try to reschedule.”

Tiberii appeared not to have heard the latest allegations at the time. He continued, “I’m disappointed for the organizers who worked hard to put this together; also that we will not hear from Cunningham about sexually suggestive texts he sent to a woman (not his wife, nor mother of his children). Fascinated to see when he publicly addresses this.”

Cunningham’s opponent, Tillis, was one of three Republican senators to test positive for the coronavirus over the weekend, and is currently in quarantine.

Tiberii clarified that fears of contracting the virus had nothing to do with Cunningham ditching the town hall on short notice, writing, “One important addendum (because twitter being twitter): This was a virtual event that Tillis had declined an invitation to. So, the threat of COVID (while reasonable upon first blush) is not a factor in Cunningham canceling.”

Intelwars Michael Flynn Obamagate Scandal Ted Cruz Ted cruz obamagate

Ted Cruz helps clueless liberal commentator understand why Obamagate is such a massive scandal

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) took to Twitter Monday to explain in clear terms to a liberal commentator why the “Obamagate” scandal is such a huge deal.

Gabriel Sherman, an opinion writer for the left-wing magazine Vanity Fair, was apparently confused about what conservatives find to be unseemly about the Obama administration’s unmasking of American citizens, including retired Gen. Michael Flynn, in December 2016. Flynn, who was tapped to be President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, was surveilled in conversation with former Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

“Serious questions for Trumpers,” Sherman wrote on Twitter last Friday. “What is the scandal of unmasking an American official caught on an intercept discussing US sanctions policy with Ambassador of a hostile foreign country that had just launched a massive cyber attack on our election?”

Sherman attempted to explain away the matter by suggesting that to unmask an American “caught” communicating with a foreign official of a hostile country is routine, even advisable. But the question frames the matter incorrectly.

Thankfully, Cruz was there to answer Sherman’s question to perfection:

“Uhh, he was the incoming National Security Advisor & a 3-star general. He’s SUPPOSED to discuss sanctions policy. That’s his job,” Cruz explained. “The unmasking was part of outgoing admin launching a massive sting operation to try to entrap him. Maybe this helps: imagine Bush doing same to Obama.”

The issue is not that Flynn was in conversations with Kislyak, as Cruz clarified, but rather that the surveillance and subsequent alleged perjury trap of Flynn appear to show an effort by the outgoing Obama administration to frame the incoming Trump administration for wrongdoing.

“Unmasking” is the action taken by national security officials to reveal the identity of an American citizen who is picked up in surveillance of foreign officials. While it’s true that “unmasking” is not an uncommon process, the compounding evidence surrounding the incident is what has drawn the attention of Trump supporters as well as Republicans in Congress.

Such compounding evidence includes the extremely long list of ex-Obama officials who requested the unmasking of Gen. Flynn — a list that includes former Vice President Joe Biden, former FBI Director James Comey, and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

Furthermore, it’s odd that Obama officials were concerned about Flynn talking to Kislyak, since in early 2017, the State Department announced that it would help incoming Trump officials make contact with foreign officials.

Burisma Burisma ukraine CORRUPTION Intelwars Joe Biden Joe biden burisma Scandal Shokin Ukraine Ukraine corruption

Ukrainian state investigators are now looking into Joe Biden and Burisma

A Ukrainian court forced the opening of an investigation into claims that former Vide President Joe Biden pressured the resignation of a special prosecutor in order to benefit his son Hunter Biden.

The Ukrainian State Bureau of Investigations confirmed the investigation into Biden’s motivation to press for the 2016 dismissal of prosecutor general Viktor Shokin, according to a report from the Washington Post.

The investigation mirrors the demand made by President Donald Trump in an infamous call made with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The accusations of a “quid pro quo” with Zelensky led to the two impeachment charges that were issued against the president by the Democrat-led House of Representatives.

“They need to investigate this. They have no other alternative,” said Shokin’s lawyer Oleksandr Teleshetsky.

“They are required to do this by the decision of the court,” he added. “If they don’t, then they violate a whole string of procedural norms.”

Shokin has claimed that his resignation was forced in order to prevent a probe into Burisma, an energy company that had appointed Hunter Biden as a board member in 2014.

Republicans in the US Senate have also opened an investigation into the claims of corruption against Biden and his son.

Hunter Biden is also entangled in his own scandal having to do with fathering a child with a former exotic dancer from a Washington D.C. club he frequented.

Biden was considered the frontrunner in the Democratic presidential primary, but his campaign has performed disastrously in the first state contests, leading the way for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) to seize the lead.
