San Antonio officer shot during traffic stop; returns fire leaving 2 suspects dead, 1 injured

A San Antonio police officer was shot in the hand Friday morning when the driver of the vehicle opened fire on the officer during a routine traffic stop.

The officer returned fire, killing two occupants in the vehicle and injuring the third.

What are the details?

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus explained during a media conference on the incident that the officer’s body camera was rolling but did not have audio, Fox News reported. The chief described what occurred according to what the footage showed.

“It was a very casual conversation from its appearance,” McManus said, saying that the discussion between the officer and the suspects lasted probably a minute or two when “all of a sudden the gun was pulled and [the officer] ran backward.”

He said multiple shots were fired from the truck.

Despite being shot in the hand, the officer was able to return fire, hitting all three occupants in the vehicle and reloading his service weapon at one point after it malfunctioned.

The male driver and a male passenger did not survive, but a female passenger was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound to her chest.

McManus did not reveal the identity of the officer or the suspects, but said the officer had been with the department for five years. The chief added, “The officer is very lucky to be alive at that close range having been shot in the hand and not somewhere else more vital.”

Anything else?

McManus had just delivered a presser the day before to explain another officer-involved shooting in San Antonio.

On Thursday, a San Antonio Park Police officer fatally shot a suspect who allegedly drove the wrong way down the terminal roadway at San Antonio International Airport, before stepping out and “firing indiscriminately” at people — including the officer — when confronted.

The suspect, described as a man in his 40s, also fit the description of the suspect who had fired shots at people from a highway overpass earlier that day.

The airport suspect was known to police and had mental health issues, according to McManus.

Attorney General ballots election fraud Intelwars Ken Paxton Project Veritas San Antonio Texas Vote harvesting Voter fraud allegations

Texas woman arrested on election fraud charges after getting caught on Project Veritas video, officials say

A Texas woman has been arrested on felony charges of election fraud, illegal voting, unlawfully assisting people voting by mail, and unlawfully possessing an official ballot, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Wednesday.

And Paxton said the suspect got caught on a Project Veritas video in the midst of “shocking and blatantly illegal action.”

“Many continue to claim that there’s no such thing as election fraud,” the attorney general added. “We’ve always known that such a claim is false and misleading, and today we have additional hard evidence.”

What are the details?

Paxton’s office said Rachel Rodriguez was exposed in a Project Veritas video last fall while engaging in vote harvesting leading up to the 2020 election, adding that his office’s Election Fraud Division reviewed dozens of hours of unedited, raw footage, which led to her arrest.

At one point, Rodriguez was caught acknowledging that her actions were illegal and that she could go to jail for it, Paxton’s office said.

If convicted, Rodriguez could face up to 20 years in prison, his office added.

KSAT-TV reported that while the release from Paxton’s office spelled Rodriguez’s first name “Rachel,” public records repeatedly spell it “Raquel.”

The station added that in the Project Veritas video Rodriguez appears to show an older woman how to change her vote on a mail-in ballot, and she also described various types of small gifts she gets for voters she comes into contact with.

Police on Wednesday told KSAT that Rodriguez was arrested on San Antonio’s east side and that the attorney general’s office asked for assistance transporting her. Rodriguez was still in the process of being taken to jail just before noon Wednesday, the station added. Her arrest occurred Wednesday morning, the AG’s office told KSAT.

Anything else?

“This is a victory for election integrity and a strong signal that anyone who attempts to defraud the people of Texas, deprive them of their vote, or undermine the integrity of elections will be brought to justice,” Paxton added.

His office also said that individuals involved in or with knowledge of “this organized vote harvesting scheme are encouraged to come forward and cooperate with the Office of the Attorney General.”

Army investigating tragic death of drill sergeant found fatally shot in bullet-riddled car in Texas on New Year’s Day

A 30-year-old drill sergeant, who was also a mother of a 10-year-old, was on leave to celebrate the holidays when she was discovered fatally shot in Texas during the opening hours of 2021, according to investigators.

Drill Sgt. Jessica Mitchell, a 68E Dental Specialist, was assigned to the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.

Around 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day, police officers responding to a call of a stranded vehicle in the fast lane on Interstate 10 in San Antonio. Mitchell was found in a white Dodge Challenger on I-10 that had multiple bullet holes on the driver’s side door and window, San Antonio police said in a statement.

“Officers opened the vehicle door and checked for a pulse on the victim (who) appeared to have been struck multiple times,” police said.

Mitchell had no pulse, and was taken to University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on Friday, according to the JBSA. Mitchell was said to have died from multiple gunshot wounds.

“We are devastated by the tragic loss of Drill Sergeant Jessica Mitchell. Our sincere condolences go out to her family and friends,” Maj. Gen. Dennis LeMaster, the MEDCoE Commanding Genera, said. “We are focused on supporting Drill Sergeant Mitchell’s family as well as her soldiers during this extremely difficult time.”

Her sister, Ashley Mitchell, told WTXF-TV, “Why would anybody want to do this? Why do people do such heinous acts of crime for no reason?”

Mitchell had a 10-year-old son, according to Francesca Toby, Mitchell’s childhood friend.

“She was a beautiful, beautiful woman. She had a son, and he’s without his mom, and I just want to give my prayers to her family, to her son, to her son’s father,” Toby told WOAI-TV in San Antonio.

Mayo Mitchell, Jessica’s father, was incredibly proud that his daughter was a fifth-generation military member.

“I told all my children, I want you to do better than what I have done,” Mayo Mitchell said. “She and my children have so far and she wanted to be the best that she can be in her military career. But that was cut short.”

The Mitchell family recently experienced another tragedy when Jessica’s 18-year-old brother, Justice, was shot and killed in 2017.

The Army’s Criminal Investigation Division and the San Antonio Police Department have launched an investigation into Mitchell’s shooting death.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact SAPD’s Homicide Department at 210-207-7635.

Archbishop Bless Coronavirus Intelwars San Antonio

Watch: Archbishop takes to the skies over San Antonio so he ‘could bless the entire city’

Archbishop Gustavo Garcia-Siller hopped aboard an airplane to take a low-altitude flight over San Antonio on Monday, so that he “could bless the entire city” after announcing that the parishes of the Archdiocese of San Antonio would be reopened for mass next week.

The archdiocese’s 170 churches, which span across 19 counties, have not held full masses for several weeks due to the coronavirus pandemic.

What are the details?

The Archdiocese of San Antonio teamed up with the Tex Hill Wing of the Commemorative Air Force for an operation called “Mission: Hope,” in an effort “to inspire unity and healing,” KXAN-TV reported.

At around 2:00 p.m, Archbishop Garcia-Siller set off as a passenger in a 1942 SNJ “Ole Yeller,” and was flown over 30 locations at around 1,000 feet on a flyover of the city of San Antonio while offering prayer and blessings for the community.

Ahead of the flight, Tex Hill Wing executive officer Col. Darren Bond said in a statement posted to the archdiocese’s Facebook page, “The aircraft is very visible, and I believe the sight of the archbishop flying overhead will be truly inspirational. We have had so much bad news lately. It’s time to give people a positive sign.”

Chinese virus Hate speech Intelwars Kung flu virus San Antonio Ted Cruz

San Antonio passes resolution declaring the term ‘Chinese virus’ hate speech. Ted Cruz declares, ‘This is NUTS.’

The San Antonio City Council unanimously passed a resolution declaring coronavirus-related terms such as the “Chinese virus” and “Kung Flu Virus” to be hate speech despite COVID-19 having originated in Wuhan, China. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) blasted the city council and said they are “behaving like a lefty college faculty lounge.”

Some Democrats have attacked anyone, especially President Donald Trump, for using the term “Chinese virus.” Their argument is that you can’t label the disease based on from where it originated because that is racist.

Many diseases have been named after their origins, including:

  • Lyme disease from Lyme, Connecticut
  • Zika, named after the Zika Forest in Uganda
  • Ebola, named after a river in the Democratic Republic of Congo
  • Legionnaire’s Disease, named after an American Legion convention in Philadelphia
  • West Nile virus, from the West Nile, Uganda
  • Rocky Mountain spotted fever, named for the Rocky Mountains
  • German measles, from Germany
  • MERS, which stands for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome
  • Marburg virus, named for the German city of Marburg
  • the Spanish flu, named for Spain

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was so concerned about potential discrimination against the Asian American community and ramifications of the name of the coronavirus that she went to San Francisco’s crowded Chinatown in late February and told people: “Come to Chinatown, here we are — we’re, again, careful, safe — and come join us.”

The city of San Antonio has taken it one step further by outlawing words associated with the coronavirus that it deems to be racist or xenophobic.

The resolution states: “The City of San Antonio denounces antisemitism, anti-Asian bigotry, and all hateful speech, violent action and the spread of misinformation related to COVID-19 that casts blame, promotes racism or discrimination or harms the City of San Antonio Asian and Pacific Islander, Jewish, immigrant or other communities.”

San Antonio reporter Jaie Avila was covering the meeting and tweeted: “Council regular Jack Finger was speaking against the resolution when his mic was cut off.”

Avila added that Council Member Manny Pelaez said that “hate speech is more dangerous than the virus itself.” There are over 271,000 worldwide deaths from the novel coronavirus and 77,000 American deaths.

The city council also said that “all persons are encouraged to report any such anti-Semitic, discriminatory or racist incidents to the proper authorities for investigation.” City council members unanimously voted in favor of the resolution 11-0.

The resolution was put forward by San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg.

“We’ve seen incidents that are clearly racist in nature all around this country, and we’ve even seen some incidents here. But this is really about standing in solidarity with all the members of our community,” Nirenberg told reporters following the council vote.

Ted Cruz slammed the council members for their decision to make terms relating to COVID-19 hate speech.

“This is NUTS. SA City Council behaving like a lefty college faculty lounge, triggered by Chick-fil-A & the words ‘Wuhan virus,’ Cruz wrote on Twitter. “If they want to investigate someone, start with NYT & CNN who both repeatedly (and rightly) referred to it as ‘the Chinese coronavirus.’ #NoSpeechPolice.”

CDC centers for disease control and prevention Coronavirus COVID-19 Intelwars Lackland San Antonio

The CDC wanted to drop released coronavirus quarantine patients off at a shopping mall in San Antonio

The city of San Antonio filed a lawsuit Monday to stop a plan by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to drop some patients released from coronavirus quarantine off at a local shopping mall, according to the Associated Press.

The patients had been passengers on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which spent about two weeks docked in Yokohama, Japan, with more than 600 confirmed cases of COVID-19. After returning to the U.S., they were again quarantined at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.

The CDC’s plan

More than 100 passengers were quarantined at Lackland, and 122 were released Tuesday (seven remain in quarantine). Those from out of state were transported to the airport to return home, and those from other places in Texas were set up with rental cars.

The CDC’s plan for San Antonio residents, however, was to drop them off at North Star Mall. From the AP:

PassengerTerri Feil of Houston said a CDC official told them in a conference call Sunday that the mall, about 17 miles (27 kilometers) from the base, was chosen to avoid the media.

Feil said only people who were not going to the airport were to be dropped off at the mall. The Feils showed The Associated Press a text message they said was from the CDC indicating they were to be dropped off at the entrance by The Cheesecake Factory.

“My husband was asking, ‘Who made this decision?'” said Feil, adding that the couple’s son was driving from Houston to pick them up.

A CDC spokesperson would not address the specifics of the release plan in an email to the AP.

“Many factors were taken into consideration when determining how best to return the evacuees to their communities as safely as possible,” CDC spokeswoman Carol Williams said in an email, the AP reported.

More issues for North Star Mall

News of the drop-off plan comes just after a woman who was mistakenly released from quarantine visited North Star Mall and the airport before officials realized she had tested positive for COVID-19 and got her back into isolation.

Coronavirus CRIMINALS: CDC Deliberately Released Infected Patient in San Antonio While Positioning Itself to Financially Benefit From an Exploding Epidemic

This article was originally published by Mike Adams at Natural News.

The CDC just deliberately released an infected coronavirus patient in San Antonio, Texas. The number of “accidental” releases of infected patients, the nearly four-week withholding of diagnostic test kits and the downplaying of the severity of the outbreak can no longer be explained away as coincidence. This appears to be a deliberate, planned strategy to spread the coronavirus across America, cause nationwide chaos and get more funding and medical martial law powers for the CDC itself.

“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a patient from isolation in San Antonio, Texas, after two tests returned negative for the new coronavirus, but the person later tested positive,” reports The Epoch Times.

So the CDC messed up yet again, failing to make sure the person was truly cleared of coronavirus before releasing him into the general public. The CDC later attempted to cover this catastrophic error by saying, “Following the patient’s release, results of a subsequent sample were received, and determined to be weakly positive. Out of an abundance of caution, CDC decided to bring the individual back into isolation at a local medical facility.”

The CDC is now using transgender-like language to describe virus test results

For starters, from a virology point of view, there’s no such thing as “weakly positive.” Testing for the coronavirus produces a binary result. It’s either positive or negative. Is the CDC seriously going to start telling us people are now “sort of positive” or “kinda negative” or other such nonsense? Suddenly the CDC sounds like a transgender high school student explaining how he/she fluidly transitions between 47 different genders by merely wishing for socially acceptable virtue-signaling transitions.

This latest mistake is on top of the CDC deliberately withholding coronavirus testing kits from the entire country for nearly four weeks, allowing the virus to exponentially multiply with near-zero surveillance about which communities are already infected.

According to truly bombshell new research that studied the mutation rate of the coronavirus in the wild, the coronavirus has been spreading for six weeks in Washington State, infecting as many as 1,500 people in that state alone.

It was only the independent media — like — that sounded the alarm on the near-total lack of coronavirus testing across the country, pointing out that it’s impossible to detect infections if you don’t test for them. I even coined the term, “Don’t Test, Don’t Tell,” which has since been echoed by many others. (Source: My article from Feb. 25)

Former FDA director Gottlieb warns “thousands” are already infected in America

We’ve now reached the point where, according to former FDA director Scott Gottlieb, there are “thousands” of infections in America right now. Before Gottlieb said that, I publicly estimated anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 coronavirus infections in the United States right now. Gottlieb says it’s “low thousands.” Via ZeroHedge:

Former FDA Director Scott Gottlieb, who has been far more vocal than the current FDA director thanks to his regular appearances on CNBC and other cable news channels, warned during an interview on CNBC Monday morning that the public shouldn’t trust the administration’s rhetoric.

The fact is, things are far from ‘okay’, Gottlieb said. Now that the government is expanding testing, the US case count will ‘grow rapidly’. The public should start stocking up on supplies and preparing for widespread disruptions. Gottlieb warned that the number of cases in the US has probably already reached the ‘low thousands’. Hundreds could be confirmed by the end of the week.

Note the stark contrast between Gottlieb and current FDA / CDC officials who are universally lying to the American public and even telling people it’s bad to buy food, hand sanitizers or medical masks.

The Trump administration is floundering over this issue and U.S. government propaganda currently appears almost indistinguishable from communist China’s own propaganda parade. (Will the U.S. soon start hiding coronavirus deaths? Probably…)

The CDC stands to receive billions in new funding as the coronavirus explodes across America

Every U.S. government agency prioritizes its own survival and expansion over everything else. Throughout U.S. history, events have been staged to rapidly increase federal funding as part of a problem-reaction-solution cycle that’s often rooted in deliberately staged “emergencies.”

For example, the ATF received a huge influx of new funding after staging the David Koresh / Waco, Texas raid in the 1990s. The entire thing was rigged, staged for CNN’s camera and carefully controlled to create an emergency where none existed. Koresh could have easily been arrested on the street while out shopping for groceries, but instead, the ATF staged a murderous raid that deliberately killed dozens of women and children.

Similarly, the Oklahoma City federal building bombing was quite literally plotted by the FBI to increase funding for the FBI. They recruited the scapegoat, provided the explosives, evacuated their own offices and even planted explosives in the federal building there, all to create blood and gore for the cable news cameras so that more funding could be approved to combat “extremists” in America, all under Bill Clinton of course. To this day, the FBI is the single most prolific source of terror plots across America, and that fact is openly confirmed by the New York Times, the Kansas City Star and other mainstream media outlets.

Similarly, the Disneyland measles outbreak from a couple of years ago was staged to push for mandatory vaccines in California (SB 277, Richard Pan), and now the CDC is actively allowing coronavirus to escape confinement as part of a malicious plot to cause infections to spread across America. The primary beneficiary of the outbreak? The CDC itself, which could receive billions in new funding. (Apparently, a $6.5 billion annual budget isn’t enough.)

What’s even more insane is the fact that this COVID-19 coronavirus is the product of biological weapons development programs that were funded by the NIH itself to the tune of nearly $700 million.

So the taxpayers funded this weapon system, and now that it has been unleashed upon the world, the very same “death science” government bureaucrats who caused the problem will demand billions in new funding to solve it.
