Black Lives Matter Black people Intelwars Leftists Portland rioters watch White People

VIDEO: White leftist militants actually block black woman from driving through Portland street. It gets ugly fast.

If you were wondering how blindly radical the leftist militants are who’ve been wreaking havoc and mayhem in Portland for the past three months, a confrontation with a black woman motorist Monday night just may answer that for you.

What are the details?

In a video, a group of white people defiantly stand in front of a truck and won’t let it pass. We’ve seen this petty stuff many times before. The difference here is that the motorist they’re blocking is a black woman.

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @BGOnTheScene

At best one might say such an astonishing show of force demonstrates how seriously they take their cause, as the core of it supposedly is standing up for black people they say are oppressed by police — and yet they refuse to let someone they say they’re fighting for drive down a street.

‘That’s violent!’

As you can probably guess, the driver isn’t happy.

“Get out of the way!” she hollers at them from the driver’s seat. “Because you killed my brother, move!” The clip doesn’t shed light on the latter claim, but it sure demonstrates her adversaries’ collective ignorance.

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @BGOnTheScene

Defiant voices shoot right back at her. “You’re gonna go backward!” one barks. “Turn around!” another yells.

She blasts them again: ‘You’re setting fires in the streets? No, that’s violence! That’s violent! Get out of my way!”

“I think you don’t know what you’re talking about!” a male voice can be heard arguing back with her.

Soon the woman dares the the militants to do damage to neighboring communities like they’ve done to Portland. “Get your ass away from here!” she yells at them, adding “now they see how ignorant this looks … you don’t want no race war out here!”

A black man who’s with the leftists moves in and appears to try to calm the situation as the woman driver accuses someone in the group of calling her the N-word — which they deny.

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @BGOnTheScene

“Stop pushing us with your car!” one male hollers at her as they place their bodies in front of the truck’s bumper.

‘You’d be rammed the f*** over!’

The furious woman then exits her truck and gives the ignorant leftists a wake up call: “If I was pushing you with my car, you’d be rammed the f*** over!”

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @BGOnTheScene

At this point, the black man who’s with the leftists orders his comrades to shut up and move: “We need to get this woman out of here safely!”

Here’s the clip. (Content warning: Language, racial slurs):

A follow-up clip shows that the crowd eventually parted and let the woman drive through. “Make a hole!” they repeatedly yell, as the woman slowly drives through and a couple of leftists escort her away.

Black Lives Matter, eh?

Some observers took note of the scene’s pitiful irony:

  • “A group of privileged white people are physically preventing a black woman from driving through, to protest the fact that everyone else is figuratively oppressing her,” one commenter wrote. “I honestly cannot think of a better representation of the Left.”
  • “White people literally preventing a black woman from legally driving on a street,” another commenter said. “You cannot make this stuff up.”
  • “Portland, a tragically boring, dreary city of wealthy white folks on the West Coast, displays a moment of stunning confusion in their never ending struggle to be hip,” another observer quips. “Better go back and study the PowerPoint to clarify things.”

Antifa Bullying elderly Intelwars Physical attack Police precinct Portland rioters watch

Rioters splash paint on elderly woman, get in her face when she stands up to their police precinct attack: ‘This isn’t your world anymore!’

On the 70th night of left-wing protests in Portland, Oregon, rioters decked out in dark clothing and helmets as they attacked the city’s East Precinct were met with opposition Thursday that one might think would give them some pause: A pair of elderly women.

But then again, this is the left-wing of the year 2020 we’re talking about, and they take no prisoners — not even if they could be their grandmothers.

What are the details?

Amid the rioting and vandalism at the precinct,
KOIN-TV reported that officers were hit with projectiles that included glass bottles and rocks — and cops said one officer was severely injured after taking a large rock to the shoulder.

In the middle of all that, the station said an elderly woman who said she lives in the neighborhood pleaded with the group to stop the vandalism and stood in the way of those who were splashing paint on the plywood outside the building.

But they splashed paint on her too, KOIN noted.

Rather than realizing how far out of hand they’ve gotten, the violent left-wingers started yelling at the elderly woman: “This isn’t your world anymore!”

When she began yelling back at the rioters, one of them walked over with yellow crime-scene tape and placed it on her before wrapping it around her head:

After the elderly woman hollered at the crowd that “we died for you!” the same leftist who wrapped the crime-scene tape around her head — and towers over her by a foot — rushed back and got in her face, leaned down, and yelled at her.

It’s not clear exactly what either of them said, but the elderly woman appeared to tell the rioter that she took part in marching.

A female rioter was heard yelling at the elderly woman, “Put your mask on, bitch! Put your mask on!”

Here’s another angle of Antifa taking care of the threat to their operation:

But rioters weren’t done bullying elderly women

The rioters doubled down on their tactics against elderly women at the precinct after noticing one — using a walker, no less — was in the process of trying to extinguish a fire in a trash can.

But Antifa is nothing if not thorough. KOIN noted that the woman “was blocked by a person dressed in all black.”

Comrades of the courageous leftist blocking the woman were heard off camera laughing at and mocking her with one finally saying, “Just let her do it! Let her do it. It’s the highlight of her life! C’mon, we wanna see it!”

The rioter ended up moving left and right in front of the woman as she tried to extinguish the fire. As a chant of “all cops are bastards!” in the background, the elderly woman with the walker got a shot into the can and put out the fire.

Anything else?

The previous night Portland police declared a riot after insurgents tried to burn down the precinct and tried to run over officers with a truck.

On Tuesday night rioters converged on Portland neighborhoods chanting, “Every city, every town. Burn the precincts to the ground.” In one video an unidentified woman in an American flag cape tried to put out at least one street fire. She isn’t the woman who was spray-painted or the woman who tried extinguish the trash can fire Thursday night.

Videos capture Portland rioters bent on burning police precincts coming for neighborhoods, setting dumpster fires. One US flag-caped woman intervenes.

Rioters converged on Portland neighborhoods on Tuesday evening, chanting, “Every city, every town. Burn the precincts to the ground.”

In at least one video of the fiery carnage, an unidentified woman in an American flag cape attempts to quell at least one street fire. Other videos show burning dumpsters and reports allege that shots were even fired at one point during the melee.

The new developments come on Day 68 of protests, riots, and demonstrations following the police killing of George Floyd on May 25 in Minneapolis.

What are the details?

As highlighted Wednesday by
The Daily Wire, an unruly mob marched through the Oregon city’s streets and into neighborhoods insisting that they would burn down police precincts until police-community relations changed.

“Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground,” the group mindlessly
chanted while attempting to set buildings on fire by any means possible.

(Content warning: Rough language):

KOIN-TV reporter Hannah Ray Lambert was at the scene, where she caught some of the vandalism attempts on video, including a dumpster fire in the middle of the street.

Other videos captured several attempts to burn down city structures.

“Dumpster on fire in the middle of the street,” Lambert shared.

“Some people put flaming cardboard up against the building,” Lambert
later revealed in a tweet. “Then the person in [a] flag cape started putting it out. Some people yelled that they were a cop.”

A woman can, indeed, be seen marching up to the burning cardboard, which was laid up against a building, and began dismantling the burning heap by stamping it out and separating the pieces.

The crowd immediately began booing and shouting for her to stop extinguishing the fire, but she refused.

The unnamed woman then turned to the crowd and demanded, “Stop hurting us!”

Some of the crowd then insisted that the woman was a cop. She fired back, “I could be a cop! … I wish I was!”

Other demonstrators who appear to be with the woman — or at least agree with her actions — were also seen dumping water bottles on the smoldering embers.

(Content warning: Rough language):

Reports of gunfire in the area

KOIN also reported that several shots rang out near North Mobile Avenue in the city, and then again a second time approximately 15 minutes later near North Lombard Street, near the Portland Police Association office.

The station reported no injuries as a result of the shots fired, but pointed out that a vehicle was struck.

‘May subject you to use of crowd control agents and/or impact weapons’

In a statement, the Portland Police Department said that the rioting would not be tolerated, and that demonstrators would be subject to any and all crowd control tactics if necessary.

“Some people in the crowd on N. Lombard St. and N. Campbell Ave. are involved in criminal activity,” the statement
read. “It appears these people are trying to break into the Portland Police Association office. To those attempting to break into and/or damage the Portland Police Association building: Stop now or you may be cited, arrested, or subject to use of force. If you are at this location to peacefully protest, know this criminal behavior is occurring and leave the area now.”

The department insisted that the situation outside of the Portland Police Association office was a riot at the time, and ordered congregants to immediately leave the area.

“Failure to comply with this order may subject you to citation or arrest, and may subject you to use of crowd control agents and/or impact weapons,” the statement
added.

Rioters leave grisly threat for police outside Portland Justice Center: a burned, decapitated pig’s head with a police hat

Rioters left a bizarre message to police in Portland, Oregon, in the shape of a decapitated pig’s head wearing a police hat, set on fire and placed on an American flag.

The fiery anti-cop threat was left at the Justice Center on Thursday evening. Videos of the severed pig head were circulated on social media.

Journalist Andy Ngo noted that it was not the first time that a severed pig’s head was used by rioters in Portland to try to intimidate the police. “In the early weeks of the riots, a burnt pig’s head was left at the base of the now-gone elk statue. This was long before federal agents showed up outside the courthouse,” said Ngo, who tweeted a photograph of the previous pig’s head.

Portland has been one of the centers of continued protests that regularly turn to rioting and looting. Early protests were in response to the death of George Floyd by police as he was taken into custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Critics of the looting point out that many of the riots appear to have left-wing political aims far separated from the intent of the original protests.

Federal response

President Donald Trump warned local governments that if they did not do enough to quell the rioting and looting that he would order federal officers to stamp out the violence. He later sent troops to Portland, Chicago and other cities.

“The FBI, ATF, DEA, U.S. Marshals Service and Homeland Security will together be sending hundreds of skilled law enforcement officers to Chicago to help drive down violent crime,” Trump said on July 22. “And murderers and violent criminals are breaking a wide range of federal laws, we have that, it’s as wide as it can be. We will find them, arrest them and prosecute them, they will be in jail for many years to come.”

Democrats responded by questioning the constitutionality of sending federal officers into cities where the leadership rejected the help. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) went so far as to refer to the federal officers as “stormtroopers,” a term originating from the name for the military political police of Nazi Germany.

Others claimed that the president was floating a trial balloon so that he could gauge whether he could use a similar action to stay in power should he lose the presidential election in November.

Department of Justice DOJ Intelwars Portland rioters Portland riots Riots

Feds ID and nab shirtless Portland Justice Center arson suspect thanks to the giant tattoo on his back … of his last name

If you’re going to break into your city’s police headquarters and commit arson while sporting a tattoo of your last name in giant letters on your back, a word of advice: Wear a shirt.

Suspected arsonist Edward Schinzing, 32, did not follow that advice when he allegedly attempted to set fire to the Portland Justice Center, which is near the center of the ongoing protests and riots in downtown Portland, Oregon.

And now he’s facing federal arson charges.

What happened?

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Justice announced that authorities had charged Schinzing with “using fire to maliciously damage or destroy the Justice Center in downtown Portland.”

The charges stem from a late May incident at the Justice Center, which houses the Portland Police headquarters and the Multnomah County Detention Center.

According to the DOJ statement, Schinzing was among a group of protesters who broke into the Justice Center just before 11 p.m. on May 29. Protesters smashed several of the building’s windows and entered secured offices.

At least three civilian county employees who were working in the Corrections Records Office at the time ran for safety when the windows were broken and suspects raided the building, the DOJ noted.

The department said about 30 rioters entered the Justice Center through the broken windows, spray-painted parts of the office, destroyed office equipment and computers, and started fires.

Schinzing, the Justice Department said, was ID’d by comparing his images on surveillance video with a previous jail booking photo and a “distinctive tattoo of his last name across his upper back.”

The suspect allegedly spread a fire by lighting papers in the front of the office and moving them to a drawer in a second cubicle.

Thankfully for the workers — plus the 289 inmates housed in the detention center — the building’s fire sprinkler system was able to extinguish the fires, according to the statement.

U.S. Department of Justice/U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon

According to the Oregonian, Schinzing is facing federal charges for his alleged crimes at a county building because the property belonging to the city of Portland and Multnomah County receives millions of dollars in federal assistance through the DOJ.

Schinzing, who was on probation for domestic violence assault, the newspaper said, is currently being held in the jail at the Justice Center that he is accused of trying to torch.

He also has seven prior misdemeanor and two felony convictions, the Oregonian reported.

Here’s video of the “peaceful” Portland protesters busting the windows of the Justice Center on May 29.

Portland fining feds $500 every 15 minutes for fence around part of courthouse under attack by rioters — because it blocks a bike lane

Portland is fining the federal government $500 every 15 minutes that a fence stays up around part of the federal courthouse under attack by rioters — because the fence blocks a bike lane, the
Oregonian reported.

What are the details?

The fence has been a nightly focal point as rioters have been knocking it down, cutting through it, and climbing over it in order to get to the courthouse entrance.

Federal officers have been guarding the courthouse for weeks and pushing back against rioters’ use of explosives, firecrackers, lasers, and other weapons.

Portland Commissioner Chloe Eudaly made the announcement Tuesday about the fine — which is the maximum charge allowed, the outlet said.

Eudaly, who oversees the transportation bureau, told the Oregonian that the federal government hasn’t responded to her demand to remove the fence and that the bill is now $192,000 “and counting.”

“We intend to collect,” Eudaly, who is running for reelection, said in a tweeted statement, the outlet said. Eudaly also referred to the forces at the courthouse as “federal occupiers,” the Oregonian added.

According to the bureau’s rules, a $500 fee for obstructing the public right of way without a permit can be levied every 15 minutes, hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, the outlet said, adding that Eudaly said she opted for the maximum fine and also is investigating “other legal remedies.”

Eudaly told the Oregonian that transportation crews normally would “remove such an obstruction” but that she won’t “send workers into harm’s way” to get it done.

“Yes, I am afraid to direct workers to do their job and enforce our laws against the federal government — I hope that gives everyone reading this pause,” she added to the outlet.

On Wednesday, Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Chad Wolf confirmed that his department has struck a deal with Democratic Oregon Gov. Kate Brown to withdraw federal officers from Portland if the state steps up efforts to tamp down riots in the city.

Brown also confirmed the news Wednesday, announcing that additional Oregon State Police will be ordered to protect the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse from violent rioters in the city.

The New York Times reported that federal officers will begin leaving the city Thursday, but Wolf said no federal officers now stationed in the city will be withdrawn until his department is assured that the state has taken adequate steps to quell the violence.

VIDEO: Riot declared in Portland as vandals tear down fence protecting federal courthouse

Fiery protests raged on in Portland as rioters and federal law enforcement clashed in fierce confrontations outside the federal courthouse in Oregon’s most populated city.

The Portland Police Department declared a riot early Sunday after vandals tore down the fence outside of the Mark O. Hatfield Federal Courthouse. “The violent conduct of people downtown is creating grave risk of public alarm,” the Portland Police Department stated.

Elijah Schaffer of BlazeTV, the host of the “Slightly Offens*ve” podcast, was covering this weekend’s mayhem in Portland. Schaffer shared videos on his Twitter of vandals using electric saws to cut into the fence. The rioters were able to weaken the fencing enough to enable them to rip it down with ropes and chains.

(CAUTION: Graphic video and language)

Once the rioters breached the courthouse, federal officers responded by launching tear gas canisters and rubber bullets in an attempt to disperse the crowd. Protesters used leaf blowers to keep the tear gas away from them.

“People climbed over the fence to get close to the federal courthouse,” the Portland Police Bureau said in a statement. “People continued to launch mortar style fireworks at ground level that were exploding near others.”

In one brief moment of peace, a Portland police officer helps a protester up from the ground.

Saturday was the 59th day of protests since the death of George Floyd.

There was also intense rioting on Friday night and into Saturday morning in Portland, where law enforcement declared the protests an “unlawful assembly.” Videos show rioters throwing frozen water bottles and launching fireworks at federal officers.

Portland Police Bureau Chief Chuck Lovell released a video statement regarding the riots.

“Across the country people are committing violence, supposedly in support of Portland,” Lovell said. “If you want to support Portland then stop the violence, work for peace. Portland police officers and police facilities have been threatened. Now more than ever Portland Police needs your support.”

“We want to get back to the critical issues that have been hijacked by people committing crimes under the cover of crowds,” Lovell continued. “We hear the black community. We hear the business community. We hear each of you in your communities. We are listening and share the desire to make meaningful change.”

“Now more than ever the Portland Police needs your support,” he said. “To the men and women of the Portland Police Bureau, your courage is inspiring. Your commitment to this city and to each other is beyond compare. Every day you come to work and give all you have. I can never thank you enough for the sacrifices you and your families have made.

“To those in the community who are fed up and frustrated with the nightly destruction and violence, there are ways to come together with your communities to make your voices heard, especially to those in positions of authority. We have received an outpouring of support from many community members who have felt compelled to reach out with words and messages of kindness.”

On Thursday, the City of Portland demanded federal authorities remove the metal fence and concrete barriers that protect the federal courthouse. The Portland Bureau of Transportation said the fencing is illegal because it blocks a bike lane, which makes the fence a safety hazard.

“The structures are both unpermitted and represent a hazard to the traveling public,” Chris Warner, director of PBOT, wrote in a letter to the U.S. General Services Administration.

VIDEO: Feds launch offensive after Portland rioters attack officers, abuse press credentials in 57th night of chaos

Portland, Oregon, remains out of control.

For the 57th straight night, Antifa rioters wreaked havoc in Rip City, and they have markedly increased their activity and violent behavior since the DHS began sending in law enforcement to attempt to help the city quell the unrest.

Members of the media have tried to convince the public that the rioters are actually peaceful. CNN’s Brian Stelter
claimed Monday that “right-wing media plays up Portland protest ‘violence'” — despite the fact that that very weekend the overwhelmed Portland Police declared a riot.

U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer, a Democrat who represents the Portland area,
said that the city “is not out of control” but was dealing with “some people who have strong feelings.”

But the evidence on the ground tells a different story, a story of a city that is severely out of control: Several people have been
arrested on assault, arson, and property damage charges; young children are being led by adults to chant “F*** the police!”; the protesters have issued a list of demands that apparently must be met if the city wants them to stop their antics; rioters have been shooting lasers in the eyes of law enforcement, and now at least three offers may be permanently blind; and criminals have tried to break into and burn a Portland courthouse.

In response to the ongoing turmoil, President Donald Trump sent in federal officers, a move for which he has received major criticism.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.)
called the president’s move un-American, while Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) labeled the federal officers “stormtroopers.”

MSNBC’s
John Heilemann and U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) have both claimed that Trump sent the feds to Portland as a sort of test run for when he refuses to leave office should he lose November’s election.

So, what’s really going on?

BlazeTV reporter Elijah Schaffer was on the scene and captured footage of the last night’s craziness. And it’s not good.

This is your blanket content warning: rough language and disturbing scenes.

The crazy evening began as it often does: A bunch of protesters — many of them without face masks — changing and preparing the mob for what’s to come. Then it shortly moved to rioters apparently attempting to take down a security fence around the Portland federal courthouse.

In response, federal agents warned that if the protesters didn’t stop trying to move the fence, the agents would use “impact crowd control munitions.” Protesters responded by lobbing fireworks or flares over the fence:

After the protesters refused to comply, the feds began using tear gas and pepper bullets on the rioters, Schaffer reported:

The rioters, however, appeared undeterred, and began using electric saws to cut through the courthouse barrier and then threw frozen water bottles at officers who were attempting to protect the courthouse:

Schafer and other reporters, including Drew Hernandez, captured video of rioters throwing “explosive projectiles” and launching motor-style fireworks at officers and at the courthouse:

Finally, law enforcement declared the protests an “unlawful assembly” and order the protesters to leave, but no one did. Instead, they stepped up their attacks, shooting high-powered lasers into officers’ eyes:

According to Schafer, officers were injured, which prompted the “unlawful assembly” declaration:

And it appears that people were pretending to be press or were abusing their press credentials:

Finally, the federal officers launched an offensive on the rioters, pushing them back away from the courthouse:

Portland protesters issue their ‘list’ of demands amid teargassing, riots

Portland, Oregon, rioters listed their demands Wednesday amid the protests gripping the city.

What are the details?

The group of rioters projected a list of their demands onto a nearby building as Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler talked to the crowd about the continually deteriorating conditions of the city.

A reporter for KPTV-TV shared the demands on Twitter, writing, “Directly behind Mayor Wheeler, a list of protesters’ demands projected on the Justice Center.”

The demands included defunding the Portland Police Bureau by a minimum of 50%, with the money being reallocated to “reinvest into the communities, especially the black community.”

The rioters also demanded authorities free all protesters from jail, and remove the presence of all federal law enforcement officers from the Portland area.

Demonstrators also demanded Wheeler resign as mayor.

‘It is an unconstitutional occupation’

A portion of Wheeler’s Wednesday speech addressing protesters could be heard in a video clip, according to KGW-TV.

“I think what we’re doing tonight is actually the best thing we can do right now,” he said. “Be here, be heard, be unified, and be clear. We didn’t want [federal police], we didn’t ask for them, they’re not trained for what they’re being asked to do. And we want them to leave.”

He added, “It is an unconstitutional occupation. The tactics that have been used by our federal officers are abhorrent. They did not act with probable cause, people are not being told who they are being arrested by, and you’re being denied basic constitutional rights.”

Protesters gathered Wednesday night and teargassed the mayor, screaming “F*** Ted Wheeler” and more.

Federal officers also ended up gassing Wheeler and other protesters during the evening appearance.

“I’m not afraid, but I am pissed off,” Wheeler told the New York Times about the gassing. “This is an egregious overreaction on the part of the federal officers.”

“This is not a de-escalation strategy. This is flat-out urban warfare,” Wheeler added. “And it’s being wrought on the people of this country by the president of the United States and it’s got to stop.”

Leftist Portland mayor tries chatting with leftist rioters who’ve been burning down his city — and they shred him to bits

One would think that when Democrat Ted Wheeler — the far-left mayor of far-left Portland, Oregon — takes to the streets to speak to a throng of amped-up left-wing rioters, their common ideologies would win the day, and Wheeler would make a little dent in the universe.

But once again, the left dined upon one of their own.

Members of Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler’s security staff fight to close a door to The Portland Building after protesters followed and heckled the mayor when he left a protest at the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse on July 22, 2020, in Portland, Oregon. Photo by Nathan Howard/Getty Images

Thing is, these particular leftists have been burning down Portland night after night for nearly two months, trying to breach and set fire to a federal courthouse, destroying property, attacking police, and intimidating and beating up just about anybody who makes the mistake of getting in their way.

So it was no surprise that Wheeler on Wednesday night got the same nasty reception that
left-wing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey received in when he ventured into the leftist lions’ den of protesters and rioters who torched his city in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

What are the details?

As Wheeler walked into the crowds for what he deemed a “listening session,” some threw objects toward him while others called for his resignation, chanting, “Tear Gas Teddy,” the
New York Times said.

Others called his arrival in the streets of Portland a photo op, the Times added.

Content warning: Language:

After
tear gas actually hit Wheeler, some mocked him and asked how it felt, the paper noted.

Content warning: Language:

“I’m not going to lie. It stings. It’s hard to breathe,” Wheeler said regarding the tear gas deployed by the feds. “And I can tell you with 100% honesty, I saw nothing which provoked this response.”

Wheeler added that federal officers were guilty of an “egregious overreaction” and that it only managed to “piss everybody off even more. It made people angry.” Wheeler likened the feds’ “urban warfare” to kicking “a hornets’ nest.”

Wheeler also pointed his crosshairs at President Donald Trump: “And it’s being brought on the people of this country by the president of the United States, and it’s got to stop now.”

Still, a white mother observed that Wheeler only showed up to the protests after other white mothers attending the demonstrations over the weekend were tear-gassed,
USA Today reported.

“A lot of these people hate my guts,” Wheeler said in an interview, according to the Times.

He was booed, he was cursed out, he was shouted down, he was harassed. “F*** Ted Wheeler!” one leftist shouted out before adding that the mayor is a “f***ing fascist!”

Content warning: Language:

But the Times said he still spent three hours there and even managed to draw cheers when he demanded that the federal government “stop occupying our city.”

It’s fair to say, however, that the show of support may have been a minority view.

Federal officers Intelwars lasers Officers blind Portland rioters Portland riots

At least three federal officers may be permanently blind after Portland rioters attacked them with lasers

At least three federal officers deployed to Portland, Oregon, may have been permanently blinded after rioters shined high intensity lasers in their eyes and launched fireworks at a federal courthouse in the city.

Protests have continued to rage in the city for more than 50 consecutive days since the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis in late May, prompting President Trump to deploy federal officers to help quell the chaos, a move opposed by Democratic state and local leaders.

Many of the demonstrations have turned violent as groups of rioters have engaged in standoffs with law enforcement, attacking officers with mortars, lasers, rocks, and bottles.

Deputy Director of Federal Protective Service, Richard “Kriss” Cline, told reporters Tuesday that a crowd of more than 1,000 “rioters” surrounded the Mark O. Hatfield courthouse on Monday and began tearing plywood barriers down and throwing objects at officers inside.

The rioters also allegedly graffitied the building, blocked roadways, and lit several fires in the area.

According to Cline, when officers responded to put out the fires, lasers that can cause permanent blindness were shined in their eyes.

“We have three officers who currently have eye injuries and they may not recover sight in those eyes from those laser attacks,” Cline said in the news conference.

You can watch the news conference below. Cline’s remarks begin at the 15:00 mark.

Cline said that FPS has now purchased anti-laser glasses to protect the officers’ eyes.

He added that seven arrests were made on Monday night and early morning Tuesday, two for assaults on federal officers and five others on misdemeanor charges.

Also during the news conference, Department of Homeland Security Acting Secretary Chad Wolf took aim at the city of Portland for its apparent disinterest in quelling the violence.

“These individuals carried lasers, baseball bats, explosive fireworks, metal pipes, glass bottles, accelerants, and other weapons all targeting federal facilities and federal law enforcement,” Wolf said. “And yet the city of Portland takes little to no action.”

Federal officers have been active in Portland since earlier this month despite resistance from Democratic officials.

Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.), who represents the city, argued in the face of facts that “Portland, Oregon, is not out of control,” but rather there are simply “some people who have strong feelings.”

Portland Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler has also criticized Trump for sending federal officers to the city, calling the move “a blatant abuse of police tactics by the federal government” and arguing that the presence of federal officers has “sharply escalat[ed] the situation.”

Federal officers Intelwars Portland rioters show of force watch

Feds tackle rioters, hit them with batons, force them to run away from battered Portland courthouse they were trying to break into

After rioters in Portland, Oregon, tried yet again to break into the boarded-up and battered federal courthouse that’s been a target for well over a month, federal officers aggressively cleared out the leftists from in front of the building.

What are the details?

The video shows one officer tackling two rioters at once from behind while others around them scatter — and then that same officer shoves to the sidewalk one of the rioters he’d just brought down and then takes a swing at another leftist, who wisely runs off. The officer then moves to the left down the sidewalk and shoves another rioter away.

The video pans backward showing other officers moving in and one them firing at rioters multiple rounds of what presumably are pepper balls, rubber bullets, or some other form of non-lethal munitions.

Soon officers cross the street, further pushing back the rioters as one officer whacks a rioter with a baton while another violently shoves a rioter to the sidewalk and against a pole.

The video of the federal officers’ pushback is preceded by a clip showing rioters taking turns pummeling the entrance of the courthouse with a metal object:

Here are a couple of other videos showing the action before the federal officers took control:

How did viewers react to the clip of federal officers using force against the rioters?

Numerous Twitter users reacted to Andy Ngo’s tweet highlighting the video, and many couldn’t have been happier:

  • “That was a VICIOUS takedown,” one person reacted. “Look at all the little gnats run away.”
  • “Shields don’t work when you get flanked, young rioter,” another observed.
  • “This is encouraging,” another said. “It is difficult to understand how so many people in Portland can be infected with this insanity.”
  • “That just made my morning!” another said. “They need to be arrested federally. None of this catch & release BS.”
  • “Damn they really scattered like roaches in the night when you turn on the light,” another said.
  • “If you’ve never had to put down a riot before ( I have), second guessing everything is the easy part,” another advised. “Violence doesn’t look pretty, but these people have decided the only way they’ll stop is to get their ass kicked. So they got their ass kicked!”

Anything else?

Amid the actions by federal officers in Portland, Defense Secretary Mark Esper has raised concerns about them doing so in other U.S. cities in camouflage uniforms similar to those troops wear in war zones, his spokesperson said Tuesday, Politico reported.

Esper has urged efforts to more clearly distinguish between the two, the outlet added, citing Jonathan Hoffman, chief Pentagon spokesperson.

“We saw this take place back in June when there were some law enforcement that wear uniforms that make them appear military in appearance,” Hoffman said, according to Politico. Esper has told administration officials that “we want a system where people can tell the difference,” the outlet added.

George floyd riots Intelwars Portland rioters Portland riots President Trump Protests Riot video Riots

Riot declared in Portland, vandals torch police building: ‘Every precinct, every town, burn the precincts to the ground’

Saturday marked the 52nd consecutive night of protests in Portland following George Floyd’s death. Demonstrations elevated to violent levels as the night progressed, and by 11 p.m., the Portland Police Department declared a riot.

Rioters broke into the Portland Police Association building on Saturday night and set it on fire. Agitators also started dumpster fires in Oregon’s largest city.

Protesters chanted: “Every city, every town, burn the precincts to the ground!”

Rioters vandalized the federal courthouse in downtown Portland after removing the protective fencing that was once on the perimeter. One person was seen shooting airsoft paintball bullets at cameras on the exterior of the Multnomah County Justice Center. A man yelled into the courthouse to inform authorities: “We want the fight!”

Federal and local law enforcement deployed tear gas and flash bangs near the federal courthouse to attempt to disperse the crowd. One video shows a federal officer pepper-spraying and striking a protester with a baton several times, but the man seems unfazed.

On Sunday morning, President Donald Trump commented on the contentious situation in Portland.

“We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators,” President Trump tweeted. “They are missing in action. We must protect Federal property, AND OUR PEOPLE. These were not merely protesters, these are the real deal!”

President Trump and Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler have been at odds on the use of federal law enforcement in the city to quell the ongoing riots.

“Keep your troops in your own buildings, or have them leave our city,” Wheeler said on Friday. Wheeler was referencing officers from the U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group and Customs and Border Protection’s BORTAC that have been operating in the city since at least July 14.

Wheeler also blamed Trump for recent riots in the city, but was fact-checked by a reporter.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) described the federal agents in Portland as “Unidentified stormtroopers” in “unmarked cars kidnapping protesters and causing severe injuries in response to graffiti.”

On Friday, a self-described “afro-indigenous non-binary local organizer” gave a speech that called for the “abolition of the United States as we know it.” The crowd gathered at the Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse applauded the idea.

Antifa attacks Federal officers Intelwars looting Mayor ted wheeler Portland rioters Violence watch

Rioting has plagued Portland for six straight weeks — yet leftist mayor’s ‘biggest’ worry is ‘violence federal officers brought to our streets’

Riots have plagued Portland, Oregon, for six straight weeks, Fox News reported.

Here’s a little sample. Content warning: Language:

What began as protests over George Floyd’s killing in late May has metastasized to nightly mayhem courtesy of Antifa and Black Lives Matter militants who attack police, set fires, destroy property, and roam the streets looking to intimidate anybody who gets in their way.

A group of rioters reportedly used mortars and high-intensity lasers targeting officers’ eyes amid a recent attack on a federal courthouse and were found with weapons such as a riot shield, machete, knife, mace, and components for a pipe bomb.

One rioter a few days ago was arrested after allegedly attacking a federal officer with a hammer:

Along the way, businesses have reported $23 million in losses from looting and rioting, Fox News said.

Oh, and just last night militants reportedly tried their hand at another “autonomous zone” outside the federal courthouse:

It would seem actually that Portland’s streets are closer to a war zone.

The mayor has a different view

But Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler said Tuesday he told acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf that his “biggest immediate concern is the violence federal officers brought to our streets in recent days, and the life-threatening tactics his agents use. We do not need or want their help.”

“The best thing they can do is stay inside their building, or leave Portland altogether,” Wheeler added. “Our goal is to end these violent demonstrations quickly and safely. And in the meantime, I asked him to clean up the graffiti on local federal facilities.”

DHS officers arrived in Portland earlier this month after President Donald Trump’s June 26 executive order to protect monuments, Willamette Week reported, adding that one protester underwent facial reconstructive surgery after a federal officer shot him with a projectile over the weekend.

How are folks reacting to Wheeler pointing the finger at federal officers?

As you might imagine, Wheeler has his supporters in a leftist haven such as Portland — but quite a few others were aghast at the mayor shifting blame to federal officers while his city burns:

  • “You’ve got to be kidding,” one Twitter user opined. “You’re blaming federal agencies to the horrific state of your city? What about Antifa? George Soros? I’m sure you’re pretty familiar with them.”
  • “The only reason federal officers are there [is because] it was absolute mayhem under your ‘leadership,'” another person said.
  • “We need @RudyGiuliani to move to Portland and become the mayor,” another commenter told Wheeler. “He will show you how a real mayor takes care of crime.”
  • “Just going to let your city burn at the hands of anarchists? That’s a bold strategy,” another commenter quipped. “Let’s see how it works out.”
  • “Yeah that’s amazing,” another person noted sarcastically. “Your town was so peaceful and under control until the federal officers came in.”
  • “Your lack of true leadership and ineffectiveness in accepting the assistance that your city needs just shows that it is time for you to step down and let someone who is truly concerned for the actual citizens of your city to step up,” another commenter said.
  • “What about the life threatening tactics used by Antifa against police officers and the people they protect? Any concern?” one person asked Wheeler.
  • “It’s only getting worse under your leadership,” another commenter noted. “Please resign.”

Antifa Black man driver Fighting back Intelwars portland Portland rioters watch

Antifa tough guy oversteps his bounds with driver in Portland — and gets taught brutal lesson

Antifa militants more or less have been taking over the streets in Portland, Oregon — and
giving law enforcement just about all it can handle.

How bad has it gotten? Well, one guy apparently thought it was a good idea to attack a federal police officer with a hammer a few days ago:

Yet the left-wing mob keeps coming, destroying property and causing general mayhem:

Then there are other forms of lunacy, including
one leftist militant — apparently a woman — who stole an elderly man’s bike, then punched him square in the face. (Content warning: language):

And another woman acted on her bright brainwave to walk a toddler past a line of armed federal officers:

But then Antifa messes with the wrong guy

With all the left-wing brazenness going on in Portland, it’s not too surprising that one Antifa bro over the weekend walked up to a parked SUV and opened the door, presumably to mess with the driver.

Why? Well, he’s been allowed to do so — and with little consequence thus far.

But this time our hero showed just how tough he isn’t.

The driver immediately steps out of his SUV, grabs the brat who opened his door, then puts a nifty move on him, slamming him on his back upon the sidewalk.

“Don’t you ever, ever come near my vehicle again!” the man hollers at the kid, hovering over him. “Do you understand me?”

Almost as satisfying as watching the scared youngster fold like cheap suit is the sight of his fearless gang of comrades — about 10 of them — quickly scurrying away from the takedown. Antifa bros usually stick together and gang up on lone targets. But not this time.

After being yelled at to “get up!” the hapless leftist dutifully follows orders, and the man returns to the SUV’s driver’s seat and shuts the door.

Oh, but there’s more

One might think that the Antifa faithful would’ve cut their losses and kept moving on down the sidewalk at this point. But alas, they had more entertainment up their sleeves.

After one of the militants mustered up the gumption to accuse the driver of “petty s**t” and to order him to “get the f*** out of here” — as the door was closing, mind you — he shines a light into the SUV and excitedly exclaims he’s spotted “arrows” in the back of the vehicle.

“Hey! We need a bunch of people down here now!” the excited Antifa fella yells to his crew. “Bow and arrows!” The driver didn’t seem to care one bit.

Check it out. Content warning: language:

Antifa Intelwars Left-wing violence Physical attack Portland rioters Punch watch

Portland militants gang up on elderly man, then one of them — apparently a woman — punches him in face, staggering him backward

A militant in Portland, Oregon — apparently a woman — was caught on video punching an elderly man in the face while an accompanying left-wing mob was harassing and ganging up on him.

What are the details?

Photojournalist Alex Milan Tracy posted video of the attack on Twitter early Monday morning and wrote that the victim reportedly said “f*** black lives” as he was surrounded behind the Justice Center, where rioters have been attacking police and destroying property seemingly on a nightly basis for some time.

There is no audible utterance of “f*** black lives” on the clip, however.

Instead it shows the man, sporting a white facial hair, arguing with leftist militants in the street.

Then in a scene reminiscent of a schoolyard showdown, one of them begins dragging the man’s bicycle away from him down a sidewalk.

The man reacts by slowly walking in pursuit of his two-wheeled transportation and remarking, “Look at what they’re doing to my stuff!”

“Because you don’t have no f***ing respect!” one of the militants yells back at the man.

When he catches up to his bike, the elderly man keeps arguing with the mob while the leftist militant who dragged his bike away walks right up and punches him in the face, staggering him backward.

One of the attacker’s comrades rushes in and pulls the attacker away as the man recovers and quickly asks, “And that’s legal, huh? When she hits me it’s legal?”

In a later clip, about 20 to 30 militants are seen letting the man leave but still following him down a sidewalk while yelling, “Get the f*** outta here!” The man is heard replying, “How am I a racist? I didn’t say anything like that.”

Antifa Intelwars lasers Mortar Portland rioters Protesters charged

Seven rioters who reportedly used mortars, high intensity lasers against officers arrested and charged in Portland

Federal prosecutors have charged seven rioters for their alleged roles in violent protests that took place outside the Mark O. Hatfield courthouse in Portland, Oregon, over the weekend.

According to a news release published by the Department of Justice Tuesday, some of the rioters had weapons such as a riot shield, a machete, a knife, mace, and components for a pipe bomb on them at the time of their arrest.

Officers attempting to protect the courthouse were allegedly targeted by rioters who “used aerial fireworks including mortars, [and] high intensity lasers targeting officers’ eyes” as well as rocks, bottles, and paint balloons against them.

“Rowan Olsen, 19, of Portland, is charged with disorderly conduct, creating a hazard on federal property, and failing to obey a lawful order; Shant Singh Ahuja, 28, of Oceanside, California, is charged with destruction of federal property; and Andrew Steven Faulkner, 24, of Beaverton, Oregon; Gretchen Margaret Blank, 29, of Seattle, Washington; Christopher Fellini, 31, of Portland; Cody Porter, 28, of Portland; and Taimane Jame Teo, 24, of Eugene, Oregon, are charged with assaulting federal officers,” U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams announced in the news release.

Here’s more from the DOJ:

On July 2-3, 2020, Olsen is accused of using his body to push on and hold a glass door at the Hatfield Courthouse closed, preventing officers from exiting the building and causing the door to shatter. With the door broken, a mortar firework entered the courthouse, detonating near the officers. The officers used shields and their bodies to block the open doorway for approximately six hours until demonstrators dispersed.

On July 4, 2020, Ahuja is accused of willfully destroying a closed-circuit video camera mounted on the exterior of the Hatfield Courthouse.

On July 5, 2020, Blank is accused of assaulting a federal officer with a shield while the officer was attempting to arrest another protestor.

On July 5-6, 2020, Faulkner, Fellini, Porter, and Teo are accused of assaulting federal officers with high intensity lasers. At the time of his arrest, Faulkner also possessed a sheathed machete.

The shocking list of charges alleges that those arrested were certainly not peaceful protesters, but rather appear to be purposeful agitators.

All seven of the people charged appeared before federal court on Monday. The Justice Department was careful to note that “a criminal complaint is only an accusation of a crime, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.”
