North Korean defector who escaped sex slavery has powerful indictment for woke culture, liberals embracing socialism

A North Korean defector spoke out Monday about the encroaching dangers of progressivism on American college campuses, explaining woke culture is eroding what makes America a beacon for the world, especially for those people who are not free.

What is the background?

Yeonmi Park fled North Korea with her mother when she was just 13 years old. Park fled sex slavery and traveled across the vast and dangerous Gobi desert in search of freedom.

Park eventually settled in South Korea, as many defectors from the North do, but came to the United States in 2016 when she transferred to Columbia University in New York City.

What did she say?

Speaking with Fox News, Park said her experience studying at an elite American university had many similarities to her life in North Korea.

In fact, she said the problems began during orientation, when she was scolded for admitting that she enjoys reading classic English literature, such as works by Jane Austen.

“I said ‘I love those books.’ I thought it was a good thing. Then she said, ‘Did you know those writers had a colonial mindset? They were racists and bigots and are subconsciously brainwashing you,'” Park recalled.

Park explained that her education was designed to make students “resent” Western democracy and included blaming white men for civilization’s problems. She also chided students for “playing with fire” — citing their love for socialism and communism — and mocked safe spaces and wanting to be identified by pronouns distinct from one’s biological sex.

“It felt like the regression of civilization,” Park said of her time at Columbia. “Even North Korea is not this nuts. … North Korea was pretty crazy, but not this crazy.”

“People choose to be brainwashed, and they deny it,” she added of Americans. “Education almost makes you not able to think critically, even though in the name of critical thinking.”

Park went on to lambaste Americans who think they are oppressed, especially those who pay half a million dollars to attend an Ivy League institution like Columbia University. “They are so bitter. They have zero, zero appreciation for what this country did, what the Constitution says to protect individual liberty. They have zero, zero appreciation. They are dying to give all their liberty away.”

Park predicted that, if progressives get their way, America will head down the same path as North Korea.

“There’s no rule of law, no morality, nothing is good or bad anymore, it’s complete chaos,” she said. “I guess that’s what they want, to destroy every single thing and rebuild into a communist paradise.”

Anything else?

Park later spoke with Fox News host Sean Hannity, where she explained why her experience is “heartbreaking” — and what it means for freedom.

“It’s just heartbreaking. I literally sold as a sexual slave and I literally crossed the Gobi Desert to be free,” Park said. “And now I thought I landed in a country where I can say what I believe and have my, you know, freedom to think. However, now I live in a country I have to constantly censor my speech because now in the name of safe place — Columbia told us what we cannot talk about.”

“I am so concerned like, if America is not free, I think there’s no place else is left that is free,” she added. “And I think that’s why it’s really alarming to me.”

We Are Now Entering Full-Blown Tyranny In The Western World

This article was originally published by Micahel Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

If we accept what they are doing to us now, they are just going to keep pushing the envelope.  Over the past 12 months, authorities throughout the western world have used the pandemic as an excuse to impose Orwellian measures that we never would have accepted during normal times.

They are promising us that these measures are just “temporary”, but the pandemic has already been with us for a year and there are no signs that it is going away any time soon.  If those governing us are willing to go to such ridiculous extremes during a relatively minor pandemic, what are they going to be willing to do once things start getting really crazy?

Watching the events that have unfolded at a church in Edmonton in recent days has been a breaking point for me emotionally.

Last Wednesday, the RCMP received global attention when it put up a three-layer fence around GraceLife Church in an attempt to keep people out.

I don’t know why they decided that one fence would not be sufficient.  Apparently having Christians gather together is so dangerous that three fences were needed.

Needless to say, this draconian move made a lot of headlines, and on Sunday approximately 400 Christians gathered to protest at the church.  Most of them were just singing hymns or reading the Bible, but when a few of them started tearing down one of the fences, 200 heavily-armed riot police moved in.

I would expect to see this sort of a scene in communist China, North Korea or Iran.

This sort of thing was never supposed to happen in Canada.

Out of 4.4 million people living in Alberta, there have only been 2,013 deaths, and about half of those were among people 80 years of age or older.

If it isn’t safe to go to church, why are hordes of Canadians allowed to circulate through retail establishments every single day of the week?

If churches should be shut down, you would think that Wal-Mart, Costco and Canadian Tire should be shut down too.

But they aren’t shut down.

All over the western world, we are being promised that life will finally go back to “normal” once the pandemic is over, and they are telling us that the vaccines will end the pandemic.

But that isn’t happening.  Cases are on the rise again, and thousands are still getting sick even though they have been “fully vaccinated”.

And now Pfizer and Moderna are publicly admitting that their vaccines only provide about six months of immunity

According to new research from Pfizer and Moderna, it looks like COVID-19 immunity will last at least six months in fully vaccinated people, though studies are ongoing. In a statement released by Pfizer-BioNTech on Thursday, immunity against the coronavirus is confirmed to last at least half a year for people who have been fully vaccinated with the Pfizer shot.

Most people that are getting shots think that they now have some sort of permanent immunity, but that isn’t even close to accurate.

Meanwhile, variants continue to emerge around the globe that the current vaccines won’t be effective against at all.

I know that a lot of you don’t want to hear this, but the pandemic is with us to stay.

And that means that the Orwellian measures that are being put in place are with us to stay too.

Over in the UK, one recent survey found that a majority of the British population is actually in favor of a permanent vaccine passport system

Another disturbing survey has revealed that a majority of British people are willing to accept vaccine passports in order to engage in basic day to day activities, and that they are willing to go along with the digital ID card system PERMANENTLY.

The London Independent poll, conducted by pollster Savanta ComRes, highlighted the findings, with 56 per cent saying that it would be acceptable to have to prove vaccination or negative COVID status in order to enter a shop.

Fewer than a third, 32 per cent, said that this would be unacceptable, according to the survey.

What in the world has happened to the British?

Here in the U.S., researchers are developing an implantable sensor that can tell if you are sick or not.  If you do not know about this yet, I would highly recommend watching this 60 Minutes report.

In Australia, the Orwellian measures that they have instituted during this pandemic have regularly made headlines all over the globe, and now they are considering doing something that is completely insane.

I had a hard time believing this when I first read it.  According to an Australian news source, the government is actually considering requiring people to provide “100 points of identification” before they are allowed to access social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram…

The Morrison Government will consider a radical measure to prevent online bullying and trolling, but experts say the proposal would involve serious risks for social media users.

The government is considering forcing users of social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram — as well as online dating platforms like Tinder — to upload 100 points of identification in order to use them.

The recommendation, which has been raised before, is one of 88 recommendations from a parliamentary committee report looking at family, domestic and sexual violence.

This is the direction that our world is headed.

For a long time we enjoyed an Internet that was relatively free and open, but now that era has ended.

Now tyrants all over the globe are seeing that the Internet can be used as a tool of control, and that should deeply alarm all of us.

Over the past 12 months, the pandemic has been used as justification to advance tyranny by leaps and bounds.

If this is what has happened during a relatively minor pandemic, what is going to take place once a true global emergency comes along?

We should all consider that very carefully, because we are moving into very dark times, and government tyranny is only going to get worse.

North Korea publicly executes citizen who violated COVID-19 quarantine edicts: Report

The government of North Korea wants its subjects to understand that it is super serious about stopping the spread of COVID-19 and that the dictatorship’s rules are in place to keep everybody safe.

Pyongyang is so intent on making clear the seriousness of COVID-19 lockdowns that it held a public execution of a citizen who violated the nation’s quarantine orders, Radio Free Asia reported Friday.

Who was executed?

The Hermit Kingdom has repeatedly claimed to be coronavirus-free, RFA noted, but it is still instituting strict measures upon its people to prevent the spread of the virus.

Kim Jong Un’s regime has employed lockdowns of entire cities and counties, canceled cultural events, and stopped travel between provinces, the outlet said. The nation declared in April that its “emergency quarantine posture” would go through at least the end of 2020.

But Korean smugglers who transport Chinese goods into the locked-down nation after the Sino-Korean border was completely closed in January over pandemic concerns have continued to frustrate the Norks. So the Kim government “ratcheted up” its COVID edicts with “ultra-high-level emergency” measures, a source told RFA.

“Since the end of November, the Central Committee [of the Korean Workers’ Party] have ratcheted up the existing emergency quarantine measures to ‘ultra-high-level emergency quarantine measures,'” the source, who is a resident of North Pyongan province on the border with China in the country’s northwest, reportedly told RFA Tuesday.

In order to make sure people understood the government meant business, the source told RFA that a citizen smuggler in his 50s was executed via firing squad on Nov. 28 for violating the lockdown and attempting to “smuggle with Chinese business partners.”

“They held a public execution by firing squad to threaten residents here in the border area, because there’s been a lot of contact with people on the other side of the border, including a lot of smuggling,” the source said.

The source added that the “public execution happened because the victim was charged with violating quarantine right before the ultra-high-level emergency measures took effect around November 20th.”

According to the source, the government moved the execution in order to avoid international outcry.

“They were supposed to shoot the guy in Sinuiju,” the source said, “but they decided to do it in Ryongchon county, because he’s from that area. If they did it in Sinuiju, news would quickly spread across the border to China.”

Rumors are also spreading that, as part of its “reign of terror,” the government executed a currency exchange broker in the capital city who broke quarantine rules, RFA said.

Crackdown intimidation working

The Kim regime is so worried about the virus spreading that they’ve told soldiers monitoring the border to shoot anyone who comes within half a mile of the border, no matter their reason for being there.

And then they deployed landmines along the border area to “increase deterrence,” RFA said.

RFA’s North Pyongan source said that at the end of November, the government’s Central Committee instructed agencies and state-owned businesses to crack down on anyone violating lockdown rules by surveilling the public using police, factories, and “neighborhood watch units.”

A North Pyongan official reportedly told RFA this week that North Korea’s citizens are “more afraid than ever due to the ever-increasing measures to control their movement.”

“While guarding the border seamlessly from the ground, in the air, and at sea, authorities ordered soldiers to shoot anyone approaching the border unconditionally, regardless of who the person is or their reason for being in the area. It is an absolute threat to the border area residents,” the official said.

This is typical behavior from Pyongyang, the official told RFA: “Whenever the people complain because their livelihoods are affected, the authorities always try to shut them up by threatening them with public executions or by sending them to political prison camps.”

dprk ICBM Intelwars Kim Jong-Un Monster missile North Korea South Korea State-run media Videos

North Korea reportedly flaunts new ‘monster’ ICBM at showy military parade — and some analysts believe it could be one of the world’s largest ballistic missiles

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un reportedly celebrated during a recent military parade, which featured what is reportedly one of the biggest intercontinental ballistic missiles in the world, according to a Saturday
Reuters report.

The outlet reported that the missiles — previously unseen — were shown at the military parade, which showcased North Korea’s long-range weapons for what the news organization said was the first time in two years.

CNN notes that some analysts believe the ballistic missile is one of the world’s largest ever seen.

What are the details?

The parade reportedly took place in Pyongyang to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the ruling Workers’ Party, and displayed several large missiles.

Melissa Hanham, deputy director of the Open Nuclear Network, called the missile a “monster,” according to the report.

One missile in particular was so large that the huge trailer on which it was transported had 11 axles.

“Also displayed were the Hwasong-15, which is the longest-range missile ever tested by North Korea, and what appeared to be a new submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM),” Reuters noted.

According to the news organization, an unnamed senior U.S. official said the display was “disappointing” amid the recent development of relations between North Korea and South.

The unnamed official said, “It is disappointing to see the DPRK continuing to prioritize its prohibited nuclear and ballistic missile program over working towards a brighter future for the North Korean people.”

Kim, according to the outlet, appeared and waved to the crowd before making remarks.

“We will continue to build our national defense power and self-defensive war deterrence,” he reportedly said in his remarks.

The report noted, “The parade was highly choreographed, with thousands of troops marching in formation, displays of new conventional military equipment including tanks, and fighter jets launching flares and fireworks. Kim became visibly emotional as he thanked the troops for their sacrifice in responding to natural disasters and preventing a coronavirus outbreak.”

Reuters reported that Kim expressed his gratitude that not a single North Korean citizen tested positive for the virus — a previously disputed claim.

What else?

Following the news, the U.S. urged North Korea to return to negotiations.

An unnamed U.S. official reportedly told The Daily Caller, “The United States remains guided by the vision President Trump and Chairman Kim set forth in Singapore and calls on the DPRK to engage in sustained and substantive negotiations to achieve complete denuclearization.”

“It is disappointing to see the DPRK continuing to prioritize its prohibited nuclear and ballistic missile program,” the source added.

MAN THE SHIPS: TRUMP WAGES PSYCHOLOGICAL WAR!

This article was contributed by Tom Beck with Portfolio Wealth Global.

America elected an NYC-based real estate shark to the office of President. WHAT DID YOU think would happen? This is a person who had to fight for everything and go into boxing matches with BARE KNUCKLES in order to get deals done.

People like Donald Trump aren’t apologetic, and one either DIGS THIS WHOLEHEARTEDLY or absolutely can’t stand the SIGHT OF HIM.

His doctrine won’t change, not now, not one month before elections. He is going to stick with what BROUGHT HIM HERE, to the highest office a man can hold for the past 80 years – that of Commander-in-Chief – and he’s going to take it TO TWITTER with all he’s got.

On the way, he’s going to CHALLENGE YOU with his ferociousness, and his confidence boosts.

If there’s an ULTIMATE LESSON to learn from the way he conducts himself, it is that ambition is contagious.

Trump’s supporters treat him more like a celebrity than anything else.

When I say that he is waging warfare on your mind, I don’t mean it in a vicious or evil way, but as a CASE STUDY.

Take a step back and learn from this; it’s a great experiment in self-promotion, governance, and the American atmosphere of 2020.

If he wins, even with half the country and the media HATING ON HIM, take that as a huge lesson in pursuing things in life, NO MATTER how many people tell you it’s wrong, impossible, stupid, or otherwise.

You’ll never rise to greatness, fearing criticism. Every major decision I’ve ever made was seen as outrageous by someone CLOSE TO ME.

Trump has built a wall with Mexico, waged a tariffs war with China, met with North Korea’s dictator, shut down the government and ordered the elimination of Iranian terrorists and of ISIS’ founder, all in one term.

Covid-19 has made him the target of GLOBAL SCRUTINY, so the polls have him trailing, which I tend to believe is true this time, but don’t think this is over by any STRETCH of the IMAGINATION.

Americans are about to enter a great psychological experiment and we shall see if the Trump campaign can’t pull off another last-minute reversal.

Know this: open-mindedness is the TRUE KEY to winning in 2020. I get sent videos of JEFF GUNDLACH, the bond king, who has become quite popular, three times a week.

He keeps warning of a SEVERE RECESSION and testing the MARCH LOWS; I keep looking at our Watch Lists (1, 2, 3, and 4) and the ENORMOUS GAINS we’ve made and keep making. I pity people who have “stayed liquid,” not understanding that the reset has ALREADY OCCURRED.

March was the GREATEST BEAR MARKET ever; there isn’t going to be a second one; we’re in recovery mode and this pandemic is GETTING DEFEATED, by way of herd immunity, social distancing, and for those who will dare to take it, a vaccine.

Focus on the future; keep a FLEXIBILITY ABOUT YOU, since following just one idea, just one script, IS WRONG.

I rest my case.

CBS News reporter says he ‘felt safer’ in North Korea than he does at the White House amid outbreak

CBS News White House correspondent Ben Tracy declared on social media Monday that he “felt safer” reporting from the communist regime of North Korea than he does currently covering the White House after President Donald Trump and several administration staffers tested positive for COVID-19.

What are the details?

“I felt safer reporting in North Korea than I currently do reporting at The White House,” Tracy tweeted, adding, “This is just crazy.”

The journalist was lambasted by conservatives for the comment.
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) replied, “That’s because you were supporting the regime.”

Tracy later clarified amid backlash, “For context folks, this is in reference to the COVID-19 outbreak at The White House.”

One person
wrote, “I’m pretty sure you’d rather run the risk getting COVID in the USA before getting it in the [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea]…from what I hear a bullet is the only treatment option there.” They attached an AFP article from last month citing U.S. intelligence that North Korea has “issued shoot-to-kill orders to prevent the coronavirus entering the country from China.”

Republican attorney and frequent Fox News guest Harmeet Dhillon tweeted to Tracy, “Yes the White House is just like North Korea, other than the beatings, starvation, lack of electricity, organ harvesting, punishment of your parents, your children, your extended family on the basis of your network’s reporting. You are a clown.”

Saagar Enjeti, co-host of The Hill’s “Rising with Krystal and Saagar” added, “Otto Warmbier was unavailable for comment.”

As TheBlaze previously reported:

[American college student] Otto Warmbier was arrested in 2016 and sentenced to 15 years hard labor in North Korea after being accused of stealing a propaganda poster while visiting the country on a guided tour. He was released after 17 months, but when he arrived in the US, he was in a coma and never regained consciousness — dying six days after his return home.

His parents said that when Otto arrived, he was making “inhuman noises” like “howling” and “jerking violently.” They also contend that he was blind, deaf, and that it looked like someone had “taken a pair of pliers and rearranged his bottom teeth.

Anything else?

Tracy is not the first White House correspondent to say that covering President Trump during the coronavirus pandemic is one of the most dangerous jobs on earth.

A few weeks ago, ABC News White House correspondent Jon Karl described covering an indoor rally for the president as such: “This is not like embedding with the Marines in Fallujah. It is like you are taking your family with you to Fallujah.”

North Korea orders pet dogs seized from owners amid food shortages: report

Pet dogs are being seized by the government of North Korea in the capital city of Pyongyang amid food shortages in the communist nation, according to a report.

What are the details?

South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo cited an unnamed source in reporting that communist dictator Kim Jong Un issued a ban on pet ownership last month, declaring the move to be a measure “protecting the country against capitalist ‘decadence.'” The leader reportedly called ownership of dogs “a ‘tainted’ trend by bourgeois ideology.”

The source also claimed, “Authorities have identified households with pet dogs and are forcing them to give them up or forcefully confiscating them and putting them down.”

According to the outlet, some dogs are being sent to state-owned zoos, and others are being sold to restaurants, leaving helpless pet owners upset but with no recourse in the secretive regime.

The New York Post reported that “while the oppressive regime says the move is to clamp down on capitalist extravagance in Pyongyang, the dog owners are fearful that given North Korea’s food shortage — and propensity for eating dog meat — the directive has only come about to feed the masses.”

Anything else?

The Daily Mail reported that North Korea “is facing widespread food shortages, aggravated by the decision to close the border with China due to coronavirus.” The outlet noted that “Beijing is traditionally Pyongyang’s main supporter and the source of much of the food required to feed Kim’s people.”

In addition to challenges from COVID-19, North Korea’s domestic food production has suffered due to large swaths of cropland being wiped out by flooding.

The hot weather could also have something to do with Kim’s decision to turn pets into cuisine. According to an article published by The Guardian in 2014:

When the summer heat strikes the Korean peninsula, it’s not ice or water that North Korea’s authorities recommend to get through the sweltering conditions – it’s dog meat, among other “revitalizing” foods.

Campus Children cia torture Colleges control Emergency Preparedness enslavement Fall classes Headline News indoctrination camps Intelwars lack of testing Michael Christakis monitor Nazi Germany North Korea parties People plandemic quarantine Sarah Scalese scamdemic schools social distancing teach kids to obey test trace

Some College Campuses Will Look Like Nazi Germany This Autumn

As children and young adults gear up to get back to school this autumn, college campuses that are open will be imposing varying degrees of draconian testing on the students.

Students enrolled at New York’s public colleges must first pass a COVID-19 test in order to get access to campus in a bid to prevent the spread of the contagious virus.  Before setting foot on campus, a student must submit to the highly inaccurate (different studies show the PCR tests give a 50-80% false-positive rate) test.

“Given reported delays for COVID-19 test results and lack of testing availability in some areas, all University at Albany students should be tested as soon as possible in order to have results prior to the beginning of fall classes,” Michael Christakis, vice president of student affairs, said in a “Dear Great Dane” letter to students, according to a report by the New York Post.

“If a student living on campus fails to provide the University proof of a negative test or NYS Department of Health clearance document (for students who have had documented COVID-19) before their arrival on campus, they will not be permitted to check in to their residence hall or apartment,” warned Christakis. “Until students have a negative test result in hand, they should remain at home.”

According to USA Today, The University of Texas at Austin, for example, has banned parties, both on campus and off, saying they put “the health and safety of our community at risk and raise anxiety levels.” Tulane University in New Orleans threatened suspension or expulsion for students who throw or attend parties that have more than 15 people and asked students to monitor and report on the behavior of their peers.

On Thursday, Syracuse University, which had suspended a fraternity for violating social distancing rules in the spring, said it had also suspended a group of students for “knowingly violating quarantine orders,” spokeswoman Sarah Scalese said.  Most college campuses said throwing a party with 30 to 40 people could be viewed as endangerment to the community.

Before sending your child or teenager back to school, it may do you some good to understand the new “COVID” policies of the school.  Some could look like schools in North Korea or Nazi Germany thanks to the scamdemic.

“Second Wave” Panic Explodes: Facemasks Become Signs of Those Living In Fear

The mainstream media, at the requests of the government, is busy making sure to shove the “fear” of a second wave of the coronavirus down the throats of the masses. As they insist we should all be panicked, some are, and you can see it in the symbol of the facemask.

James Corbett of The Corbet Report describes the face masks as a political statement. It has become a telltale sign that a person is buying the official narrative, even to their own detriment.  The masks have been shown to do little if anything to protect from a virus that has been determined to be far less deadly than the flu in healthy individuals.  SO why are so many strangling their own oxygen supply to comply?

Corbett Report, Richie from Boston, SHTFPlan, and a few other alternative media have been telling you that the second wave is coming, real or not, and you will be blamed for it.  They are hearing up for the narrative right now as the New World Order is falling right in line.  If you don’t have economic preps in place, you’d better make some quick, if you can.

“The second wave is coming and you will be blamed for it…it’s been set up for months and months. They’ve been panning this and setting it up. In fact, they even talked about this in Event 201, so it should be no surprise that it is starting to come to fruition,” says Corbett. “They are trying to make this real.” They will use as many waves as it takes to curb resistance to the end game. “This is designed to wear people’s resistance down to the agenda. It is coming, so brace yourself.”

If you are still stuck in the system, the Matrix, which was set up against you and rigged from day one, you should consider learning, reading, and waking up. Politicians are not going to save you, that’s not what they are there for. They are there ONLY to provide you with the illusion of choice and to comply with the elitists on the New World Order.

The solution is simple, but most people are still fighting to keep the system going, simply because it’s all they’ve known and the unknown is scary. As far as I’m concerned, I KNOW what the NWO will look like, and the unknown is a lot better!

The globe is also experiencing war-like situations between China and India, and North and South Korea.  With little media attention, these conflicts have the capacity to blow up and generate a third bloody war.

“To address [WW3], I hope that this puts to rest the retort of the MAGA-cap wearing Trump supporters that say ‘Oh, it’s a good thing that he’s appointing Bolton and all these neocons to his administration! Keep your enemies closer, haha. It’s 27-D chess, yay!’ No. Actually, no. That was a stupid move. It always was. And it just proves that he’s just part of the same old boys club that’s working with the system and this is exactly what you get from that.” –James Corbett

You can be as angry as you’d like about the information, but that doesn’t change it. Trump has not done anything but help the deep state and push the globe toward war. Is it intentional?

“This is the kind of nonsense that calls out the political blather and hot air of the Trump administration on so many issues. It fails to deliver on absolutely anything. It’s all just pomp and circumstance and show, with nothing to show for it except for disaster and destruction.”-James Corbett

Rumors Of Wars: China, India, North Korea, South Korea, Israel And Turkey All Move Toward War

As if we didn’t have enough already going on in 2020, now we are facing the possibility that several regional wars may erupt.  China and India had both been pouring troops into a disputed border region, and now there has been an incident where they were actually killing each other.  On the Korean peninsula, North Korea just blew up “a joint liaison office” that it had used for talks with the South Korean government.  And in the Middle East, Turkey is warning of grave consequences if Israel goes ahead with a plan to annex portions of Judea and Samaria.  If a major regional war erupts at even one of these flashpoints, it will be another devastating blow for a global economy that is already imploding, and there is a very strong probability that the U.S. and other major western powers could be drawn into the conflict.

Right now, most Americans are focused on our internal problems, and so they are paying very little attention to the growing crisis on the border between China and India.

Both nations had sent substantial contingents of troops to an area of the border that has long been disputed, and a meeting that was supposed to defuse tensions actually resulted in soldiers killing one another

Chinese state media described the incident Monday night in the Galwan River valley where both countries have deployed troops in recent weeks as “the most serious clash between Chinese and Indian soldiers so far,” confirming casualties but offering no further details about them. Indian government sources speaking on the condition of anonymity told The Times of India that 20 Indian army personnel had died in the fighting.

American intelligence believes 35 Chinese troops died, including one senior officer, a source familiar with that assessment tells U.S. News. The incident took place during a meeting in the mountainous region between the two sides – both of which had agreed to disarm – to determine how the two militaries would safely withdraw their presences from the region.

This is the very first time in decades that Chinese and Indian troops have killed each other, and apparently very little shooting was involved

The meeting grew tense and resulted in a physical confrontation between the troops. According to the assessment, all of the casualties were from the use of batons and knives and from falls from the steep topography, the source says.

That sounds like a scene from an overly gory Hollywood war movie, but reportedly this actually happened.

Hopefully the leaders of the two nations will be able to cool tensions for a while, but the Chinese have a very long history of very bitter border disputes with their neighbors, and without a doubt China will continue to make attempts to exercise sovereignty over this area.

Meanwhile, tensions on the Korean peninsula have risen to a level that we haven’t seen in many, many years.  On Tuesday, North Korea actually blew up a building that had been used for negotiations with South Korea

North Korea has blown up a joint liaison office used for talks between itself and South Korea, the latest sign that ties between the two longtime adversaries are rapidly deteriorating.

North Korean state media reported that the four-story building, which is located in the town of Kaesong just north of the demilitarized zone that divides the two Koreas, was “completely destroyed by a “terrific explosion” at 2:50 p.m. local time.

That is certainly one way to make a statement.

And this comes just days after Kim Jong Un’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, had issued a very ominous warning

In a cryptic statement late Saturday, Kim Yo Jong vowed her country would “soon take a next action” against South Korea — a move she suggested would be carried out by the country’s military.

“By exercising my power authorized by the Supreme Leader, our Party and the state, I gave an instruction to the arms of the department in charge of the affairs with enemy to decisively carry out the next action,” Kim said in the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

All of a sudden, North Korea’s approach to relations with South Korea has dramatically shifted, and that shift has coincided with Kim Yo Jong taking a much more prominent role in national affairs.

I believe that there is much more going on in North Korea than we are being told, and Kim Yo Jong appears to favor a much more militant approach than what we have become accustomed to in recent years.

Over in the Middle East, the Times of Israel is reporting that the IDF is gearing up for a “state of war” as Israel prepares to annex portions of Judea and Samaria…

Just over two weeks before a possible Israeli annexation of some as-yet unspecified portion of the West Bank, the Israel Defense Forces is preparing for a wide range of scenarios for potential regional fallout — up to and including a large-scale wave of terror attacks — while still not being told exactly what the government has in mind.

The military is gearing up for possible massive unrest, Channel 12 reported Sunday evening, including what it is calling a potential “state of war” characterized by a Second Intifada-style onslaught of suicide bombing attacks.

This week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once again made it clear that he does not intend to alter his plans, and that means that the process of annexation could start as soon as the beginning of July.

A few weeks ago, I wrote an entire article about how this could potentially spark a major war in the region, and Arab leaders continue to make it clear that there will be “consequences” if Israel goes through with this…

Israel’s plan to extend its sovereignty to the Jordan Valley, and parts of Judea and Samaria, will “destroy all hopes” for lasting peace in the Middle East, Turkey’s top diplomat said on Wednesday.

“If the occupying power [Israel] crosses the red line, we [Muslim countries] must show that this will have consequences,” Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said during a special meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Executive Committee, according to Turkey’s Anadolu Agency.

We shall see what happens.

I think that Netanyahu is convinced that Donald Trump is probably going to lose in November, and so that means that he probably believes that he only has a window of a few months in which he could annex portions of Judea and Samaria with U.S. support.

It appears that Netanyahu is absolutely determined to move forward, and it also appears that Israel’s Arab neighbors are prepared to respond very forcefully.

In just a few weeks, missiles could start flying back and forth, and the entire Middle East could erupt in flames.

This is such a critical time, and let us pray for peace.

But without a doubt we are living during a time of “wars and rumors of wars”, and it certainly isn’t going to take much to unleash a major conflict.

Breaking: North Korean army threatens to invade Demilitarized Zone

The North Korean army released a statement threatening to invade the Demilitarized Zone between the dictatorship state and their South Korean neighbor.

The alarming statement was released Monday to the Korean Central News Agency.

“Our army is keeping a close watch on the current situation in which the north-south relations are turning worse and worse, and getting itself fully ready for providing a sure military guarantee to any external measures to be taken by the Party and government,” read the statement from General Staff of the Korean People’s Army.

The Demilitarized Zone was established in 1953 after the Korean War in an agreement between the communist forces in North Korea, China and the United Nations.

“We accepted from the United Front Department of the Party Central Committee and arms of the department in charge of the affairs with enemy an opinion on studying an action plan for taking measures to make the army advance again into the zones that had been demilitarized under the north-south agreement, turn the front line into a fortress and further heighten the military vigilance against the south,” the statement continued.

The army indicated that it would be awaiting approval from the Party Central Committee about what action to take.

The DMZ is about 160 miles long and 4 miles wide.

Hopes were high for a growing peace between the two nations when North Korean President Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in met in the DMZ in April 2018, but hostilities have increased in recent weeks.

North Korean state media: Kim Jong Un isn’t dead — see, he wrote a thank-you letter recently

In an apparent effort to prove that Kim Jon Un is not dead, North Korean state media reported Monday that the dictator recently sent a thank-you letter to the builders of his tourist resort in Wonsan.

The country’s main news outlet, the Rodong Sinmun, claimed Monday that Kim sent a message of appreciation to workers at the seaside resort, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.

“Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un has sent his appreciation to the workers who devoted themselves to building the Wonsan-Kalma tourist zone,” Rodong Sinmun allegedly reported. Yonhap added that the Korean Central Broadcasting Station carried similar news.

South Korea believes that Kim has been residing at the Wonsan report since April 13.

What’s the background?

The report comes amid intensifying speculation about the health of Kim Jong Un, who has not been seen in public since April 11. His unusual absence from a key ceremony celebrating the 108th birth anniversary of the country’s first ruler, Kim Il Sung, was noted in particular.

Then last week, unverified reports began circulating that Un was in “grave danger” following surgery. Over the weekend, Japanese media reported that Kim indeed underwent a surgery that left him in a “vegetative state.”

The Trump administration has not yet confirmed whether or not they believe Kim to be dead, but have reportedly been informed that if he’s alive, his health is poor. Officials have been looking into who would be in the line of succession should the ruler be deceased.

In a Fox News interview Saturday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said that he would “be shocked if [Kim is] not dead or in some incapacitated state.”

Anything else?

The South Korean government has pushed back against reports that the North’s ruler is dead, saying last Tuesday that Kim appeared to be handling affairs as usual. South Korean officials added that they have no information to confirm the rumors about Kim’s health.

Satellite images posted by the U.S. monitoring website 38 North appear to show Kim’s “special train” parked in the Wonsan compound since at least April 21.

“The train’s presence does not prove the whereabouts of the North Korean leader or indicate anything about his health, but it does lend weight to reports that Kim is staying at an elite area on the country’s eastern coast,” the report said.

Is This The Moment When Freedom Will Come To North Korea And The Concentration Camps Will Finally End?

Is Kim Jong Un dead?  He has not been seen in public for weeks, and all over the globe there is speculation that he has passed away following a botched surgery.  It is being reported that an emergency heart procedure went bad because his doctor’s hands were shaking, and according to a magazine in Japan that resulted in Kim Jong Un going into a “vegetative state”.  But of course we don’t really know for sure what happened, and the North Korean government is insisting that he is alive and well.  And it is entirely possible that Kim Jong Un just pulled a fast one on us and that he will come out of hiding tomorrow.  But if the rumors are true, this could finally be the moment that the people of North Korea have been waiting for.  After decades of living under tyranny, this could finally be the moment when freedom arrives.

It has been said that there is no place on Earth worse than a North Korean prison camp.  Many will remember King Jong Un for his comical relationship with Donald Trump, but let there be no doubt that he was a tyrant.  He ruthlessly murdered any North Korean that crossed him, and that included members of his own extended family.

And considering the fact that he was still fairly young, it was expected that he would rule North Korea for decades to come.  But at this point he has not been seen in public since April 11th, and it was very strange that he did not make an appearance for the April 15th festivities

April 15 is North Korea’s most important holiday, the Day of the Sun.

It celebrates the birthday of the country’s founding father, Kim Il Sung, and has in the past been marked with events like satellite launches and massive military parades. The North Korean calendar even begins on April 15 and years are measured from the date of Kim’s birth.

Subsequently, there were reports that a team of medical experts had been sent from China to help North Korean doctors treat him

The whereabouts and health of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un remain shrouded in mystery—but Reuters is reporting that China sent medical experts to the communist state in an advisory capacity. The delegation left Beijing on Thursday, but the news agency said it was unable to determine what the trip indicated about Kim’s medical condition. Kim has not been seen in public for two weeks, sparking reports that he had fallen gravely ill after some type of surgery.

It definitely sounded like Kim Jong Un was facing something very serious, and then there have been all of the rumors about the “botched surgery” over the past several days.

But at this point the North Korean government keeps insisting that he is “alive and well”

South Korea continued to pour water on mounting speculation about the health of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, telling CNN he is “alive and well.”

“Our government position is firm,” Moon Chung-in, the top foreign policy adviser to South Korean President Moon Jae-in, told CNN. “Kim Jong Un is alive and well. He has been staying in the Wonsan area since April 13. No suspicious movements have so far been detected.”

So we will just have to wait and see what happens.

But it is interesting to note that the people of North Korea seem to be quite convinced that the rumors are true

Residents in the North Korean capital have resorted to panic-buying amid reports that controversial leader Kim Jong Un is gravely ill or dead, according to a report.

Store shelves in Pyongyang were being cleaned out of everything from liquor to laundry detergent, canned fish to cigarettes in recent days — as conflicting reports continue to surface about the portly dictator’s possible demise, the Washington Post wrote Sunday.

If Kim Jong Un really is dead, we might not get official confirmation until a new leader is firmly in place, and so far most of the speculation has centered around his sister Kim Yo Jong.

Not that much is known about Kim Yo Jong, but we do know that she has been strongly supportive of her brother’s regime and we also know that she represented the regime publicly at some key events

Her first public appearance was at her father’s funeral in 2011. Since then, she has worked quietly in the background of Kim Jong Un’s regime, even accompanying him in 2018 as he met South Korean leader Moon Jae-in during the historic summit between the two nations.

Just months beforehand, she attended the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, becoming the first member of North Korea’s ruling family to visit the region since the end of the Korean War in 1953. She later attended a highly publicized lunch with Moon Jae-in.

As I told my wife earlier, it is entirely possible that Kim Yo Jong could be even worse than Kim Jong Un.

But let’s hope that will not be the case.

If Kim Jong Un really is gone, let’s pray that this will finally be a historic turning point for the people of North Korea.

The mainstream media in the western world rarely talks about it anymore, but the truth is that there is a vast network of concentration camps all across North Korea, and thousands upon thousands of people are deeply suffering in these camps every hour of every day.

According to Amnesty International, these camps hold “at least 200,000 men, women and children”…

Amnesty estimates that these camps hold at least 200,000 men, women and children (estimates by other human rights groups are much higher.) Untold numbers of innocent North Koreans have passed through and passed away in the camps since they were created 60 years ago. Most have no idea why they were arrested; they are held without charge or trial, without access to an independent judiciary.

Offenses that might lead to arrest include: criticizing the ruling family; listening to unauthorized radio broadcasts; trying to leave the country; performing poorly on the job. Many are held simply because they are related to someone who was detained – husbands, wives, children, grandparents, siblings, cousins.

Of course one of the main offenses that can get you sent to one of these camps is being a Christian.

One Christian woman that survived being put in a camp described it as “one long living nightmare”

But any sense of happiness or relief quickly disappeared when I arrived at the camp. I remember seeing moving, shapeless forms. It took me a moment to realize they were people. Some were bent over; others were missing an arm or a leg. I looked down at my own arms and legs, thin like matches. I didn’t look much better than the other inmates.

In the camp, I work 12 hours a day. Sometimes more. Every day is just one long living nightmare. But at least I am not alone in a cell anymore.

Eventually she encountered other Christians in the camp, and they ultimately formed a secret church.

But then one day one of the leaders of the secret church was grabbed by authorities and taken to the infamous Kwan-li-so maximum security prison

Inside this North Korean prison, we wound up forming a secret church. When we met and felt safe enough, we prayed the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostles’ Creed.

She was actually much braver than I was. She spoke to others about Christ as well.

That’s why one day a car came to pick her up. When I saw her leave, I knew they were taking her to a maximum-security Kwan-li-soI knew I would never see her again.

No matter how bad your problems are, they pale in comparison to what those living in these camps are going through on a daily basis.

For their sake, and for the sake of every precious soul living in North Korea, let us pray that this is the moment when freedom finally breaks out in that nation.

Millions of North Koreans are living in total darkness, and they have deeply suffered for so long.  There is now a spark of hope, and we should do all that we can to help fan that spark into a flame.

Satellite images likely show Kim Jong Un’s train at resort compound amid health concerns

Satellite images show a train likely belonging to Kim Jong Un has been spotted at his compound in a resort town on North Korea’s east coast. The train has been parked at the compound since last week.

There is much speculation that Kim Jong Un is critically ill and possibly dead, despite the lack of confirmed reports of his condition. There are unconfirmed reports Kim was in critical condition after receiving heart surgery. A Japanese magazine reported that the North Korean leader is in a “vegetative state.”

The rumors concerning Kim’s health are being exacerbated from his recent lack of public appearances. Kim’s last confirmed public appearance was on April 11, when he was at a meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party committee of policymakers, according to North Korean state media reports.

Kim, 36, was noticeably missing from The Day of the Sun celebrations on April 15, which is North Korea’s most important holiday because it commemorates the birthday of the nation’s first leader Kim Il-sung.

On Saturday, Kim did not make any speeches or appearances during the 88th anniversary of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army.

Since April 21, the 820-foot-long train has been parked at the Wonsan compound, and it was repositioned for departure on April 23. The train was not present on April 15.

“The train’s presence does not prove the whereabouts of the North Korean leader or indicate anything about his health, but it does lend weight to reports that Kim is staying at an elite area on the country’s eastern coast,” 38 North wrote.

The Wonsan complex includes nine large guesthouses and a recreation center. At the center of the grounds is a large building that was constructed shortly after Kim Jong Un came to power in 2014. It also includes a protected port, shooting range, recreation building, and a covered dock that is believed for his mega yacht. Adjacent to the railway station is a small runway that was originally used for light aircraft but was converted in the second half of 2019 into a horse-riding track to match Kim’s latest hobby.

If Kim is in Wosan, that will back multiple reports that Kim left Pyongyang to shelter on North Korea’s eastern coast.

However, there are many reports disputing speculation that Kim Jong Un’s health had deteriorated.

According to Reuters: “South Korean government officials and a Chinese official with the Liaison Department challenged subsequent reports suggesting that Kim was in grave danger after surgery. South Korean officials said they had detected no signs of unusual activity in North Korea.”

The South Korean source said Kim was alive and would likely make an appearance soon.

President Donald Trump rejected reports that Kim was gravely ill or dead. “I think the report was incorrect,” Trump told reporters during Thursday’s White House coronavirus news briefing. “I’m hearing they used old documents.”

“I think it was a fake report done by CNN,” Trump added. Trump did not say if he had talked to North Korean officials about the condition of Kim Jong Un.

A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to talk to the media, said the rumors of Kim’s declining health is “speculation.”

This isn’t the first time that there have been rampant rumors regarding the decline of the hermit kingdom’s leader. In 2014, Kim Jong Un had not been seen in nearly six weeks before returning and needing a cane to walk. South Korean intelligence said Kim had undergone surgery to remove a cyst from his ankle.

Lindsey Graham drops bombshell, explains why he believes Kim Jong Un is ‘dead or incapacitated’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) revealed on Saturday that he would “be shocked” if North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is not dead or medically incapacitated.

Speaking on Fox News, Graham said he did not have direct knowledge about Kim’s situation, but said the rumors about his health are probably more truth than fiction.

“Well, it’s a closed society, I don’t know anything directly,” Graham said. “But I’d be shocked if he’s not dead or in some incapacitated state because you don’t let rumors like this go forever or go unanswered in a closed society, which is really a cult, not a country, called North Korea.”

“So I pretty well believe he is dead or incapacitated,” he said.

“And I hope the long-suffering North Korean people will get some relief if he is dead, and President Trump’s willing to do business with North Korea in a win-win fashion,” Graham continued. “So, if this guy is dead, I hope the next person who takes over will work with President Trump to make North Korea a better place for everybody.”

Graham chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee and sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

As TheBlaze reported, Japanese media has reported that Kim was left in a “vegetative state” following complications during a recent surgery. According to the report, Kim underwent surgery after suddenly collapsing during a visit to parts of rural North Korea.

The development followed a CNN report last week that indicated Kim’s health was in “grave danger.” The South Korean government pushed back against those claims, and top U.S. military personnel said they had no reason to believe Kim was not in control of North Korea.

Kim has not been seen publicly for weeks, and he missed celebrating a major North Korean holiday on Saturday.

Report: Kim Jong Un left in ‘vegetative state’ following complications during surgery

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is reportedly in a “vegetative state” following complication during a recent surgery.

Japanese magazine Shukan Gendai reported that Kim collapsed during a recent visit to a rural part of North Korea.

In response, a team of Chinese medical experts were rushed to North Korea. The team determined that Kim would need a stent to open a congested blood vessel.

More from Fox News:

Shukan Gendai subsequently detailed how the surgeon in charge of Kim’s operation was not used to dealing with obese patients and was too nervous during the operation, leading to delays that left Kim in a “vegetative state.”

The magazine cited an unnamed member of Kim’s medical team.

Reuters reported on Friday that China has, indeed, dispatched a team of medical experts to help North Korea with Kim’s health.

Concerns over Kim’s health surfaced this week after CNN reported that U.S. officials were monitoring intelligence that indicated Kim’s health was in “grave danger.” was in “grave danger.”

Subsequent reports said that U.S. officials were trying to determine North Korea’s line of succession should Kim die.

However, South Korea later pushed back against the reports. They said Kim was handling affairs in North Korea as usual. Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. John Hyten then said the U.S. military had “no reason not to assume” that Kim was still alive and in control of his country.

Kim was absent from a major North Korean holiday on Saturday, and his whereabouts remain officially unknown.

MSNBC’s Katy Tur apologized after tweeting that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is “brain dead” following a surgery.

CNN announced on Monday that Kim recently had a surgery and had suffered complications as a result.

What are the details?

To her 724,000+ Twitter followers, Tur wrote, “North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is brain dead, according to two US officials. He recently had cardiac surgery and slipped into a coma, according to one US current and one former US official. @NBCNews confirms and adds to CNN scoop.”

Following apparent questions — and swift backlash — over the tweet, Tur deleted the tweet.

“I’ve deleted that last tweet out of an abundance of caution,” she admitted. “Waiting on more info. Apologies.”

At the time of this writing, Tur has not tweeted further on the alleged status of Kim Jong Un.

The North Korean leader has reportedly not been seen in public since April 11.

On Monday night, CNN’s Jim Sciutto said, “I’m told by a U.S. official with direct knowledge that the U.S. is monitoring intelligence that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is in grave danger following a surgery.

“Now we should note that Kim, he recently missed the celebration of his grandfather Kim Il Sung’s birthday on April 15,” he added. “This raised speculation about his wellbeing, about his health.”

The Los Angeles Times later announced, “The Daily NK, a Seoul-based website that gathers information from informants inside the isolated nation, reported Tuesday that Kim underwent ‘a cardiovascular surgical procedure’ and was now mostly recovered.” The Times noted, however, that it was it was “impossible to immediately verify the report, which the Daily NK said was based on one person inside North Korea.”

On Tuesday, national security adviser Robert O’Brien appeared on Fox News and promised that the U.S. is “keeping a close eye” on the reports.

“We’re monitoring these reports very closely,” O’Brien said. “As you know, North Korea is a very closed society.”

Coronavirus COVID-19 Intelwars Kim Jong-Un Medical aid North Korea Reports

North Korea denies having any COVID-19 cases — but privately requests medical aid, new report says

North Korea is reportedly requesting medical aid from other countries, though it has thus far denied having any COVID-19 cases.

What are the details?

According to The Hill, which cited a Thursday Financial Times report, North Korean officials are privately requesting “unspecified aid” because they fear there won’t be enough testing kits for the country.

The outlet reported that the official number of reported cases in North Korea are zero at the time of this writing.

A source said, “The government has testing kits for COVID-19 and they know how to use them, but [the number of kits are] not sufficient, hence, [officials are] requesting all organizations … to support them in this regard.”

The Financial Times also reported that the country has tested at least 590 citizens, but none of them reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

Last week, a
Reuters report noted that officials requested aid from agencies including masks and testing kits.

One source told Reuters, “North Koreans need assistance and have asked for it, but things are now on hold.”

Nagi Shafik, a former World Health Organization project chief and UNICEF official in Pyongyang, told
Business Insider that there’s a real concern over a widespread COVID-19 outbreak in North Korea.

“There’s not enough medicine for the country,” Shafik said. “I’m really concerned about them facing an outbreak.”

North Korea closed its border with China in January.

What else?

Reuters reported that the country is “especially vulnerable to a coronavirus outbreak as its health system lacks resources … because of international sanctions imposed over its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs.”

The Reuters report added, “Aid groups have made urgent pleas for the United Nations to grant sanctions exemptions and it has approved six-month waivers for the World Health Organization, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and Doctors without Borders to send thermometers, portable ventilators, resuscitators, gloves, face shields, surgical masks, gowns and goggles.”
