Left-wing activist, 32, accused of punching chest of 80-year-old woman rallying for President Trump after she tossed water on him

A 32-year-old leftist activist is accused of punching an 80-year-old woman in the chest while she was rallying for President Donald Trump in Swampscott, Massachusetts, on Saturday.

But while Ernst Jean-Jacques, Jr., was charged with assault and battery on a person 60 years or older, the alleged victim admitted she was angry at the suspect for “gyrating in front of me” and tossed water on him in response, the Daily Item reported.

What are the details?

In video recorded at the event, Jean-Jacques Jr. — founder of the Freedom Fighters Coalition of 2020 — is seen across a barrier from the Trump supporters dancing to “It’s Raining Men,” which the Trump supporters had playing in the background.

At one point Jean-Jacques gives the finger to the Trump supporters:

The alleged victim — Swampscott resident Linda Greenberg, the Daily Item said — was seen making her way through the crowd and approaching Jean-Jacques Jr. at another barrier.

Video appears to show Greenberg toss water on Jean-Jacques, after which he looks around and then appears to punch Greenberg.

Video shows Jean-Jacques’ elbow cocked slightly, but his forward motion is obscured by others in the video, so it’s not clear if he made contact with Greenberg. But the horrified reaction of others in the clip seems to reveal Greenberg sustained some pain.

Multiple police officers described Jean-Jacques as “punching” Greenberg after they witnessed “water propel from where Greenberg was standing,” the paper said.

Jean-Jacques left the scene after the apparent punch, but the Daily Item said police caught up with him and took him away in handcuffs.

But in the paper’s follow-up story about Jean-Jacques’ Monday arraignment, defense attorney Murat Erkan said Greenberg admitted to tossing water on Jean-Jacques in a police interview.

“I was drinking my water, and he was gyrating in front of me, and I was getting mad, and I did get water on him,” Greenberg said in the interview, the Daily Item reported. “I don’t want to lie.”

The paper added that a bystander asked Greenberg if she agreed her conduct made her the aggressor, to which Greenberg replied, “Oh, why don’t you f*** off … You are not America, you are not America.”

Swampscott MAGA-chusetts Freedom Rally!

Now what?

The Daily Item said Jean-Jacques was released on $550 bail bond and that Greenberg refused medical assistance.

Prosecutor Danielle Doherty-Wirwicz at the arraignment asked that Jean-Jacques be declared a dangerous person, be banished from Swampscott, and be prohibited from contact with elderly persons, the paper said. But Judge Matthew Nestor — who described the case as “disturbing” — denied the prosecutor’s requests, the Daily Item added.

The defense also argued, based on the video and additional still images, that Jean-Jacques was “attempting to disarm Greenberg of the bottle” and that he used an “open hand” rather than a fist, the paper said.

More from the Daily Item:

Erkan also brought up images of 1960s Birmingham, Ala., when police sprayed water on peaceful black Civil Rights protesters, and implied that Greenberg’s splashing water on Jean-Jacques dehumanized him in that same manner.

Judge Nestor disagreed with the analogy.

Erkan indicated that he was speaking with authorities and expected to request that Greenberg be charged with a hate crime.

The defense also said Jean-Jacques has no record of prior convictions and works at a senior center caring for adults with intellectual disabilities, the paper said, adding that a pretrial hearing is set for February 24, 2021.

Anything else?

Jean-Jacques noted on his Facebook page that the Boston Red Sox honored him in August as part of the team’s “Hats Off to Heroes” ceremony that usually honors members of the military.

The letter to Jean-Jacques read: “This year, with everything that has been going on in the country, we got permission from the presenting sponsor John Hancock to expand the breadth of the program … So far this year we have recognized front-line health workers, other essential workers, military, a [woman] who spent her life fighting for civil rights and social justice. On Aug. 28 we are going to recognize an activist and pillar of their community, and I would absolutely love it if we could highlight you, for all that you do for [the] city and in the fight against social injustice.”

Left-wing protester — who’s also a convicted felon — arrested after pointing gun at Louisville motorist

Sometimes those peaceful, gun-shunning leftists can surprise you.

Seems one of them who took part in a Louisville protest march Friday evening pointed a gun at a motorist — and to top it off, the arrestee is a convicted felon, WDRB-TV reported.

What are the details?

Louisville Metro Police on Saturday released video taken from a police helicopter that was circling over the march, and it shows a woman — identified as Robin Ash — pointing a gun at the driver of a dark gray Ford Taurus, the station said.

Ash is facing charges of wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and criminal mischief, WDRB reported, citing court records.

But others at the scene defended Ash, saying the driver pointed a gun at demonstrators first, the station said.

In the police video, which contains no sound, the car in question is traveling in the opposite direction from the march — and one protester appears to be standing in the left-hand turn lane the car enters.

The car comes to a stop after passing the protester, and that’s when the trouble starts.

Several protesters approach the car, including a woman who pulls out a gun and points it at the motorist.

After another protester appears to intervene, the woman who pointed the gun walks away from the scene and seems to place something in her pocket or waistband.

Others remained near the car and WDRB said one person appears to kick the vehicle while other protesters try to get the crowd away. The police video shows the car drive a short distance down the street before it comes to a stop, and the station said the driver exits the car as police gather around the vehicle and protesters continue to move forward.

Another video, another story

Sheri Wright took her own video of the march and posted a clip of the incident involving the car on her Facebook page, WDRB said — and at a Sunday news conference at the Kentucky Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression, she said the motorist “tried to run over protesters.”

Wright’s video shows the Ford Taurus drive closely past at least two people marching in the street before coming to a stop, the station said.

More from WDRB:

As Wright approaches the car, video shows the man behind the wheel pulling out a gun and pointing it at the demonstrators near his car. Ash is not seen approaching the car in Wright’s video, which is focused on the driver’s window.

Wright follows the car as it moves a few feet down the road, and her video shows the man get out of the car and again point a gun at protesters as he inspects a dent in his vehicle. The man then gestures in the direction of police, who are seen moments later moving the crowd away from the vehicle.

Image source: Facebook video screenshot via Sheri Wright

Here’s Wright’s video. (Content warning: Language):

“What do you do when somebody threatens you with a gun? You know, you run or you defend — fight or flight,” Wright said, according to the station. “So I’m not going to knock anyone who felt her life was threatened, because I certainly felt my life was threatened, as did everyone there.”

She added to WDRB that police “surrounded themselves around this man and his vehicle in a protective fashion.”

“It seems very one-sided as far as where LMPD interjects itself into a conflict,” Wright also noted to the station. “From my observation, they want to protect the people who are opposed to the protesters against police brutality. I’ve seen this over and over and over again.”

What did police have to say?

Sgt. Lamont Washington said in a statement that the motorist wasn’t arrested because he was a victim in the incident, WDRB said.

“LMPD released the video to show the whole story,” Washington added to the station. “A still photo or single angle often doesn’t do that. No charges are expected of the driver whose name will not be released since he was the victim.”

college students Intelwars Leftist agenda leftist violence looting Rioting watch

College students say rioting, looting ‘justified’ because ‘people in power have stolen so much more’

Rioters and looters — like many on the left — have parroted the same lines this summer to somehow make their immoral actions morally upright.

To wit: Last month Black Lives Matter members in Chicago held a rally supporting and defending more than 100 people who were arrested for looting in the city the previous night. BLM organizer Ariel Atkins justified the estimated $60 million in damages as “reparations.”

“I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,” Atkins said, WMAQ-TV reported. “That makes sure that person has clothes.” Atkins added, “That is reparations. Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.”

What did college students have to say?

With that in mind, Campus Reform headed to George Washington University in Washington, D.C., to ask college students what they thought about the looting and rioting. Their answers were less than surprising, unfortunately.

“In my opinion … it definitely can be justified given that’s pretty much the only way we can get our message out there,” one student said.

Another added, “I’m in support of the riots personally, whatever you need to do to be heard is the cost of it.” She added that those upset over untold financial hardships due to rioting and looting should “reevaluate” perspectives on people versus objects.

When pressed that someone paid for those destroyed or stolen physical objects, the student was unmoved: “Everything can be replaced … Target is, like, a multimillion dollar, like, company, and at the end of the day they can flip that and get it back.”

She added that detractors should “understand that there’s a larger cause that people are fighting for versus the cost that it’s gonna take to repair your small business.”

Another student called rioting and looting “inevitable” and declared that “if change is gonna come, there will be some violence that comes with that.”

‘All part of the healing process’

“I guess it’s all part of the healing process,” another student philosophized about the looting and rioting, adding that “some people get caught in the way, and it’s unfortunate, but for meaningful progress to happen unfortunate things happen.”

Another student added that such lawlessness is “justified. People in power have stolen so much more. Anything that any of them loot will never match up to how much that’s been stolen from them.”

And yet another student referred to the “many white nationalist protests that have gotten violent” and complained that “the conversation has never been about … their looting and the violence that they bring. I mean, it’s easier to characterize people of color as violent than white people, I guess.”

Two leftist women caught on video ripping up pro-Trump signs, stealing MAGA hat while 7-year-old cries indicted on hate crime charges

The two Delaware women who were
caught on video ripping up signs supporting President Donald Trump and stealing a red “Make America Great Again” hat while a 7-year-old boy cried and chased after them have been indicted on hate crime charges.

Olivia Winslow and Camryn Amy — both 21 and from Wilmington — were indicted by a New Castle County grand jury Tuesday on charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching, and felony hate crimes, Delaware Online reported.

Three of the seven charges are felonies and collectively are punishable by 15 years in prison, the outlet said, adding that the hate crime charges could lead to the most prison time.

Winslow and Amy are out on bail, a spokesman for Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings told Delaware Online. The outlet said it’s unclear when they are to be arraigned.

What’s the background?

The video — recorded Aug. 20 near the venue for the virtual Democratic National Convention — shows two women harassing a mother and her young son. The women ripped pro-Trump signs and stole a MAGA hat sitting near the boy, whose mother recorded the altercation.

The boy can be seen running after the women and saying, “That’s somebody else’s hat!” Soon he starts crying.

The mom and son followed the women through a parking lot as things heated up.

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @TrumpStudents

At one point the boy sees another hat on the ground, and when he goes to retrieve it, one of the women actually appears to stomp her foot to prevent him from picking it up. The video doesn’t show whether she makes contact with the boy’s hand:

But when a man the mom apparently knows attempts to intervene, the same woman appears to hit him in the face:

Soon she tosses the stolen hat over fence:

The other woman then throws part of a ripped sign over a fence as well:

Then the same woman who appeared to hit the man in the face and stomped her foot near the boy’s hand went after the mom, as the camera seems to show the woman taking a swipe at her:

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @TrumpStudents

Soon the clip ends.

The video, which was posted by Students for Trump and received attention from Donald Trump Jr., has received millions of views. According to Fox News, the White House has even contacted the boy.

Anything else?

Delaware Online noted that state law indicates that a hate crime occurs if a person commits it “for the purpose of interfering with the victim’s free exercise or enjoyment of any right, privilege or immunity protected by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, or commits said crime because the victim has exercised or enjoyed said rights.”

The outlet added that state Attorney General Jennings — whose office pursued the indictment against the women — said in a written statement Tuesday that “harming another person — let alone a child — because of the expression of their views betrays the principles on which our country was founded.”

Sheriff leaving Democrats after watching ‘idiots’ on ‘left-wing’ stoke ‘civil unrest’ in American cities

An Indiana sheriff announced he’s switching from the Democratic to the Republican Party — and it has everything to do with the “idiots” on the “left-wing” he’s observed stoking “civil unrest” this summer, WEVV-TV reported.

What are the details?

Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding noted his political party switch at a press conference Thursday, the station said.

“It’s interesting that we see this glorious flag here,” he said, WEVV reported. “The Democrats want to burn that thing every day.”

Wedding continued, the station said: “That’s part of the reason why I said ‘I can’t tolerate that.’ Burning our flag, the symbol of our country and our freedom, the greatest country in the world.”

The sheriff added that “in the left-wing, you can’t say ‘God.’ They can’t say ‘God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance. … It’s ridiculous. And I sit and watch this, I think, ‘How can I even say or be a part of idiots like that,'” WEVV reported

“I’m tired of seeing fires set in our streets,” Wedding also said, according to the station. “I’m tired of people defying God, our church, our police, our government, and everything we stand for. You hard-working people, that have worked from the time you’re young to now, you’ve become successful individuals — and they want to get on you for being successful. I don’t believe in that.”

He also brought up the talking point of defunding the police that “left-wing liberals” have been propagating amid protests and rioting since George Floyd died while in police custody in May, WEVV said.

“By not supporting the rule of law, we see chaos like in Chicago, Portland, Seattle,” the sheriff continued, according to the station, “and instead of defunding the police, they should support funding the police during this time of civil unrest.”

Wedding added that the GOP has “a lot of work to do — including winning the presidential election, because if not, we’re in trouble,” WEVV said.

Anything else?

After his announcement, Wedding told WFIE-TV the Democratic Party has lost its way.

“The Democrats represented hard-working individuals,” he added to the station. “People who were just working-class America and they believed in values, family, and that you’ve got to work to achieve. I think we’ve lost that in the Democratic Party. I was one of the people who had nothing growing up, and I’ve worked to achieve. I’m proud of where I was and where I am today.”

What did local Democrats have to say?

The Democratic Party of Vanderburgh County released the following statement to WFIE regarding Wedding’s party switch:

While we are disappointed with Dave Wedding’s decision to leave the Democratic Party, we are more disappointed with the reasoning he provided the community for his choice. We are aware that there are many conversations regarding police reform on a national level. However, Sheriff Wedding knows that the Democratic majorities on the County Commissioners and City Council have been strongly and consistently supportive of local law enforcement. In contrast, he has always pointed out the Republican-controlled Vanderburgh County Council and Indiana State Legislature were responsible for the creation of budgetary restraints that made his job more difficult. His move to the Republican Party after benefiting from years of Democratic support make his political opportunism all the more distasteful. Nevertheless, we as a party look forward to building on last year’s success and welcoming a new wave of fresh leadership this fall and re-electing proven leadership including County Councilman Mike Goebel, State Representative Ryan Hatfield, County Coroner Steve Lockyear, and County Commissioner Ben Shoulders; among many others.

Aaron danielson Attack against trump supporter Hit and Run Intelwars leftist violence Memorial service Michael forest reinoehl Washington state watch

Man allegedly follows mourners after memorial for fatally shot Trump supporter, harasses them at bar, hits one with his truck

After a Saturday memorial in downtown Vancouver, Washington, for Aaron “Jay” Danielson — the police and Patriot Prayer supporter who was fatally shot by an avowed Antifa militant after a recent rally backing President Donald Trump — authorities said a man allegedly followed mourners who had been attending the memorial, the Columbian reported.

The mourners ended up at Charlie’s Bar & Grill — and the man who allegedly followed them was in the bar, too, and began recording them with his phone, police told the paper.

What happened next?

Rex Fergus — a member of the group that went to the bar following Danielson’s memorial — told KPTV-TV that the man was causing problems.

“He came into the bar and immediately was aggressive with everyone that was in the bar,” Fergus noted to the station. “He was aggressive with the bouncer, he was aggressive with everyone that he came into contact with. He came into the bar, immediately pulled his phone out, and started coming over to our tables and putting his phone in our faces.”

Rex FergusImage source: YouTube screenshot

The man left the bar after “contact with security staff,” KPTV said, citing police. The mourners also went outside, the station said.

And at about 7 p.m., police said the man who’d been causing trouble got into his vehicle, drove toward and hit a member of the group, then fled from the parking lot, detectives told the Columbian.

The victim’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening, officers told KPTV, adding that he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Who is the suspect?

Charles R. Holliday-Smith, 30, turned himself into police and was booked into jail, police told the station Monday night. He faces charges including assault in the first degree and felony hit-and-run, KPTV added.

While police told the Columbian the suspect allegedly followed the mourners after the memorial service, police added to the paper that investigators couldn’t confirm reports circulating that the suspect and victim were part of activist groups confronting each other.

Anything more on the victim?

Police did not identify the man struck by the vehicle, the Columbian said — but a GoFundMe page identified the victim as Shane Moon and noted that he was at a bar after leaving a celebration of life of a friend and was struck by a truck in the parking lot. Fergus in his interview with KPTV also identified the victim as “Shane.”

Fergus also told the station that the victim was among several people from the group who were taking pictures of the suspect in the parking lot “in case anything happened.”

More from the paper:

The GoFundMe page made no mention of the confrontation or whether Moon was affiliated with any activist group, though several donors left comments describing him as a “patriot” and criticizing Antifa. Posts on social media said that Moon had been at the Saturday evening memorial in downtown Vancouver for Danielson.

An administrator for the page confirmed later via email that Moon had attended the memorial for Danielson. The email said Moon is from the Vancouver area.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the fundraiser garnered just over $12,000 of its $25,000 goal.

The following WPTV report aired before the suspect turned himself in:

Police investigating hit-and-run after confrontation at Vancouver bar

What’s the background?

Danielson — the focal point of the Vancouver memorial — was fatally shot Aug. 29 after a Portland pro-Trump rally that attracted a ton of pushback from leftists.

While the likes of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden suggested that Danielson was killed because his fellow Trump supporters were “inciting responses,” the Multnomah County district attorney’s office released unsealed court documents last week that suggest the alleged shooter — Michael Forest Reinoehl — targeted Danielson before shots were fired.

In the below image, Reinoehl can be seen on the right:

Reinoehl — who had described himself as “100% Antifa” — was fatally shot by law enforcement agents who came to arrest him in Washington state Thursday after several days of investigations.

Oddly, Facebook answered all of this by reportedly taking down Patriot Prayer’s group page as well as the page of its founder, Joey Gibson.

Seattle cops find machete, mortar, hatchet, spike strips, shields in tent at public park during protest-related cleanup

Seattle police officers found various weapons as well as homemade spike strips and dozens of makeshift shields in a tent at a public park Tuesday morning, police

What are the details?

Police said they were providing security during a Seattle Parks Department cleanup at Cal Anderson Park where workers were set to repair a damaged field house and pick up trash that had been piling up since the park’s closure June 30.

The damage and subsequent repairs were related to ongoing protests, the Seattle Times said.

But when workers with the parks department were cleaning out a tent in the area, police said they found what they believed were weapons.

So officers obtained a warrant to search the tent and recovered a machete, hatchet, homemade spike strips, an unexploded mortar, and multiple makeshift shields, police said.

Officers removed the items from the tent and placed them into evidence, police said, adding that no arrests have been made although an investigation is ongoing.

Protest hub

The park has been a hub for some protesters, the Times noted, adding that in recent weeks a camp grew in the park where protesters gathered for marches, handed out goggles and helmets, and occupied a previously locked and boarded-up city rental facility to distribute food to people living in the park.

Not the kindest of welcomes

A video was posted to YouTube showing officers gathered at the park while several people — presumably protesters — went verbally ballistic on the cops for their presence amid the park cleanup.

“Are you a white supremacist?” one man yells at the officers.

“That’s a registered f***ing hate symbol recognized by the Southern Poverty Law Center!” a woman screams at one cop. “You’re a f***ing white supremacist, you piece of s**t! I hope you die tonight, b***h!”

The woman can be heard calling another officer a “f***ing coon” and declares, “I’m taking your job, b***h!”

Trump supporter kicked in head by Black Lives Matter militant while flat on his back: ‘He just got his a** beat!’

While WDJT-TV characterized things as “mostly peaceful” Tuesday as President Donald Trump visited riot-ravaged Kenosha, Wisconsin, one incident caught on camera proved anything but.

What are the details?

As Trump supporters and protesters gathered near the courthouse to express their views, the station said most banter between the groups was disrespectful and heated.

Trump supporters were angry about rioting and looting in the wake of the police-involved shooting of a black man, Jacob Blake, that captured attention nationwide.

“Does Black Lives Matter give them opportunity to burn a town down?” one Trump supporter said, according to WDJT. “No. Is that what they represent? I’m against it for that reason.”

Kicked in the head

As tensions boiled over video caught the moment when a Trump supporter — who was flat on his back amid a physical altercation — was kicked in the head by a Black Lives Matter militant:

A second video caught what happened next as it appeared some of the victim’s adversaries tried to prevent further damage and let him get up and walk away. As he did, one person from the crowd can be heard melodically chanting — in childlike style — “He just got his a** beat! He just got his a** beat!”

WDJT caught up with the victim of the attack, identified as David, who sustained a badly swollen cheekbone and bruised temple.

“I was attacked by numerous people at the same time,” he told the station, which added that the beatdown occurred over his pro-Trump hat.

David added to WDJT that he got a “kick to the head, one really good blow to the face. They surrounded me and attacked me and started chanting things. They were completely out of control.”

The station said the crowd then chased him down the street — and that it was a scene that played out at other points during the day.

“People came out to stand up,” Trump protester Lou Downey told WDJT. “Stand up against Trump in the face of all the violence he’s been unleashing around the country.”

Trump visit to Kenosha draws friends and foes of the president

A recurring theme?

This wasn’t the first time we’ve seen leftists resort to kicking vulnerable people in the head amid public unrest.

Police in Portland, Oregon, in June charged a 14-year-old male with second-degree assault after video captured him kicking a man in the head who was already face-down and motionless in the street:

And we all know about the other famous kick to the head in Portland from last month:

Not long after police arrested Marquise Lee Love, 25, on charges of riot, coercion, and second-degree assault.

Antifa Antifa portland Intelwars leftist violence Police Rioting Ted wheeler apartment watch

Portland cop chases Antifa rioter and tackles him to street. But when leftist pulls off cop’s helmet, all bets are off.

Antifa rioted in Portland yet again Monday night.

Rioters set a fire on the ground floor of the high-rise condominium where far-left Mayor Ted Wheeler lives, the Oregonian said, and — given it was the mayor’s birthday — wore party hats and sang “happy tear gas to you” before the festivities began.

Here’s a peek at how they helped him celebrate:

But on this 96th consecutive night of mayhem in the city, police weren’t playing.

After a riot was declared, officers got to work:

Journalist Sergio Olmos noted that police soon enacted a second bull rush on rioters. And in the sequence Olmos caught on video below, one officer runs ahead of the pack, grabs an Antifa militant, and tackles him to the street.

But the black-clad leftist — flat on his back while the cop is on top of him — apparently still has a little bit of resistance in him and pulls the officer’s helmet from his head.

The officer proceeds to repeatedly punch the militant:

All in all, the Oregonian said police arrested 19 people in connection with Monday night’s rioting.

Eight arrestees were charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a peace officer, the paper said, adding that two were accused of carrying concealed weapons — with one of them also accused of attempted assault on a public safety officer. It isn’t clear what charges, if any, the Antifa rioter who pulled off the officer’s helmet faces.

More from the Oregonian:

Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt has said his office won’t pursue demonstrators accused of interfering with police and disorderly conduct, among other charges, if the allegations don’t involve “deliberate” property damage, theft or force against another person, or threats of force.

The office also won’t prosecute people on a riot accusation alone. Prosecutors will proceed with a riot case only if it includes an accompanying allegation of specific property damage or use of force, Schmidt said last month.

How did folks react to the cop’s punches?

Journalist Andy Ngo posted Olmos’ clip of the officer punching the Antifa rioter on his Twitter page, and reactions were mixed. In fact, it appeared that most commenters weren’t happy that a police officer used such force — but still a number of others said it’s been a long time coming based on three months of lawlessness and violence against police:

  • “This is my favorite clip of the night,” one commenter wrote.
  • “I think the cop should receive the same punishment as most of these rioters: release without bail and no follow-up on the charges,” another commenter quipped.
  • “The feel good image of the summer,” another commenter said.
  • “Dude knocked the cops helmet off trying to resist, got his melon knocked a few times,” another user noted. “These people have been assaulting cops for more than 3 months. DA Mike Schmidt is responsible for this. Stop the catch and release, hold these people accountable.”
  • “Next we will see footage of this clown calling them pussies and doing something…up to the point of slammed…then he cries ‘ugh I’m not fighting you’ LOL…funny how the ‘bold’ become the spineless…” another commenter said.

Kayleigh McEnany smokes reporter for wringing hands over leftists hit by paintballs after ignoring 90 days of Antifa violence in Portland

A reporter on Monday sarcastically asked White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany if supporters of President Donald Trump shooting paintballs at leftists in Portland over the weekend counts as “patriotic activity.”

Say what?

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure, here’s at least one clip showing a Trump fan in the bed of a pickup truck taking aim at loudmouthed leftists on a Portland sidewalk Saturday — and giving them an instant color makeover.

Content warning: Language:

Pepper spray appeared to be on the menu as well — but you’d think by now they’d have built up an immunity to that.

How did McEnany respond?

Anyway, McEnany was in no mood to entertain the reporter’s question based on what she detected as his blatant double standard.

“It’s incredible that for 90 days I’ve stood at this podium talking about officers [who’ve had] lasers flashed in their eyes in an attempt to blind them, commercial-grade fireworks thrown at them, a church right out here burning down, the people that were harassed and yelled at — [Republican] Sen. Rand Paul, Dan Bongino — right out here, and you’re going to ask me about a paintball video when, in fact, for 90 days we’ve seen horrific violence by Antifa, a radical, anarchist organization,” she replied. “I mean, you’re going ask about a paintball video I’ve yet to see and neither has the president.”

Despite McEnany trying to get to the next reporter, the paintball inquirer pressed forward: “I’m going to ask you about it, but you maintain that the people who went into the city to conduct that activity —”

And with that, she cut him right off: “Look, there’s been 90 days of violence from left-wing anarchists; it’s incredible that today is the one time you’re interested in violence when it’s paintballs — and we don’t even know who set off these paintballs — but you fail to ask for 90 days about violence from an anarchist organization because it happens to be on the left.”

How did folks react to McEnany’s latest media torching?

Like her boss, McEnany doesn’t have a thriving fan club among the White House press corps — but Trump supporters sure appreciate her:

  • “I love how @PressSec schools them every single time,” one observer noted.
  • “@PressSec is one of the best hires in the history of our country for any administration,” another commenter said. “Praying for her and her family — what an incredible woman & mother. Press has no clue how to handle her.”
  • “It was fabulous,” another commenter noted. “That reporter will have flashbacks forever when he hears the word ‘paintball.’ She pointed out the contrast perfectly!”

Joseph Rosenbaum — goofy prankster, compassionate dad

Joseph “Jojo” Rosenbaum, 36, was one of the fatally shot individuals, the Chicago Sun-Times said.

His sister told the paper that despite being from Waco, Texas, Rosenbaum — a compassionate father — stayed in Wisconsin to be close to his 2-year-old daughter.

“He loved his daughter very much,” his sister added to the Sun-Times.

The paper also said Rosenbaum’s sister wants him “to be remembered as the man he was. He loved to draw, she said; he was goofy and crazy; he loved playing jokes on everybody.”

But what Rosenbaum allegedly was up to Tuesday night was anything but fun loving.

Video allegedly caught Rosenbaum antagonizing the gun-carrying group who showed up to protect property in Kenosha after two previous nights of vicious rioting, glaring at them and daring them to “shoot me!”

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @Julio_Rosas11

He even uttered the N-word as black people were feet away. One guesses that being a leftist apparently buys some racial slur passes. (Content warning: Language, racial slurs):

What’s more, video allegedly shows Rosenbaum — who by this point apparently had removed his red T-shirt to use as a head covering — chasing after a male armed with a rifle. Rosenbaum then allegedly throws a bag of tools at the guy with the gun and then lunges at him. The guy carrying the gun not surprisingly opens fire.

And that spells the end for Rosenbaum, who is seen in a graphic clip of the shooting aftermath dying in the street and wearing the same capri-length jeans, white sneakers with white socks, and tan belt as he’s wearing in the video of him confronting militia members.

Anthony Huber — peaceful American patriot

Anthony Huber, 26, also was fatally shot Tuesday night, the Sun-Times said.

“Anthony is an American patriot, and we should all be so lucky to have folks like him to defend this country from White Supremacists,” according to a comment on the GoFundMe page set up for Huber’s girlfriend and stepdaughter, the paper said. The crowdfunding has raised nearly $100,000 in just a couple of days.

“You’re a Hero Huber,” read a chalked message at a Kenosha skatepark, the Sun-Times reported.

“He is a peaceful person,” a friend of Huber’s told WDJT-TV. “He didn’t go out looking to beat people up. He’s more of a defender. And he put his life on the line for others. That’s what he did.”

Calling him “one of the most amazing people,” Huber’s girlfriend Hannah Gittings told protesters Wednesday near the spot where he died that Huber “took down an armed gunman with nothing but his f***ing skateboard, and he took that f***ing bullet,” the paper said.

Indeed, Huber was in the mob that chased after the male who allegedly shot Rosenbaum. Without using his name, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Huber bashed his skateboard over the apparent shooter’s head.

The paper added that he also tried to take away his gun — and at that moment, the attacked male pulled the trigger. Huber — who appeared to be hit in the chest — crumpled to the street.

Gaige Grosskreutz — just wanted to provide medical services to protesters

The Sun-Times identified the third shooting victim as 26-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz. He sustained a badly shot right arm but is expected to survive.

A member of social justice group the People’s Revolution Movement of Milwaukee, Grosskreutz’s “whole reason for being out here was to provide medical services to protesters in Kenosha, and when Gaige tried to detain [the active shooter], he got shot in the arm,” a friend of his told the paper.

True enough. But Grosskreutz — who was also in the mob giving chase down the street — also pointed a handgun at the shooter:

Image source: Twitter video screenshot via @bgonthescene

And after part of his right arm was blown off, video demonstrated that the handgun was indeed loaded.

Here’s the clip showing the second and third shootings. (Content warning: Language):

Now what?

In the end, suspected shooter 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse faces a homicide charge. As you might already know, he’s already been prejudged as a murderer and white supremacist.

But as TheBlaze Managing Editor Leon Wolf points out in his Thursday op-ed, besides the lack of existence of any fact that would rightly brand the teenager as a racist, “there appears to be no evidence at all that Rittenhouse is guilty of murder, much less first-degree murder,” and charging him with such a crime is “absurd.”

Not that leftists were ever interested in facts that poke holes in their proclamations — including lauding the leftists shot up in Kenosha as peaceful and loving when all visual evidence paints them as the aggressors and acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

Leftist thug suspected of brutal assault is arrested, jailed; victim was repeatedly punched then kicked in head from behind on Portland street

suspect wanted in connection to a brutal assault on a Portland street over the weekend has been arrested, KPTV-TV reported.

Marquise Lee Love, 25, was
booked Friday morning into Multnomah County Jail on charges of riot, coercion, and second-degree assault. His total bail is set at $260,000, jail records indicate.

The station said information surrounding Love’s arrest hasn’t been released. TheBlaze on Friday afternoon didn’t immediately hear back from Portland police regarding the newly reported developments.

What are the details?

Portland police earlier this week identified Love as the suspect seen in cellphone videos repeatedly punching a man who was forced by a mob to sit in the street after which the suspect kicked the victim in the head from behind and apparently knocked him out.

The victim, identified as Adam Haner, earlier was helping a woman who had some of her things stolen, KPTV said.

Haner’s girlfriend, Tammie Martin, exited Haner’s truck and was tackled to the ground, the station added.

Witnesses told police that a white Ford truck crashed at a nearby intersection, KPTV reported. (Content warning: Language):

Police said protesters dragged the driver out of the vehicle. Another witness called before officers arrived and reported that nine to 10 people were “beating the guy,” police said. Police said investigators positively identified the suspect as 25-year-old Marquise Love. Investigators made attempts to contact Love but could not locate him, police said, adding that investigators have left messages for Love to turn himself in but will continue to look for him as there is probable cause for his arrest.
Fox News said the suspect also goes by “Keese Love.”

Jorge Ventura, who’s been covering the Portland riots for weeks, identified the victim as Adam Haner and
told Fox News in a separate story that Haner is recovering from his injuries that were not life-threatening. Police said the victim has been released from the hospital.

What’s the background?

Police said officers on Sunday night responded to an accident call at the intersection of Southwest Taylor Street and Broadway indicating that “protestors chased a white Ford 4×4, which has crashed” at that location and that protesters dragged the driver “out of car.” (

A leftist thug wearing a “security” vest was caught on video kicking a man in the head from behind, knocking him out, after Portland rioters beat him and forced him to sit in the street Sunday night after the victim crashed his truck.

The kick to the head caused the victim to fall backward and slam his head on the street; he appeared to be out cold as a result.

Here’s the clip. (Content warning: Language):

After the kick, an Antifa militant pulls a crying woman to the sidewalk and explains that “he wrecked his car, and he got beat up because he tried to run people over …”

The clip then shows people rifling through the back of the victim’s truck, purportedly looking for “weapons,” before showing people attending to the victim as blood oozes from the back of his head. Someone shouts “black lives matter, n*****!”

Oregonian reported that after a “large police response,” an ambulance took the victim to a hospital with serious injuries, and the truck was towed. The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m., the paper said, citing dispatch records.

What allegedly led to the attack on the man?

While militants were heard on video accusing the victim of attempting to run them over, a number of video clips preceding the man getting kicked in the head appear to tell a different story.

Drew Hernandez said he witnessed how it all unfolded. His video shows the man who was eventually kicked in the head defending a woman who was beaten, harassed, and robbed by an assortment of leftist thugs.

White leftist accused of stabbing black conservative journalist during Portland rioting

A black conservative journalist who was stabbed amid the Portland rioting early Saturday morning told the Oregonian he was targeted because of his politics and activism.

What are the details?

“I was stabbed for being a conservative journalist,” Andrew Duncomb, 25, told the paper, which noted that he records video of demonstrations and other political events under the moniker, “Black Rebel.

Duncomb — a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump — added to the Oregonian that he traveled last Friday to Portland from his northern California home to document nightly unrest outside the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse and county Justice Center.

“My main goal was to show that it wasn’t just the feds creating the problems,” Duncomb explained to the paper.

More from the Oregonian:

Duncomb, who has more than 20,000 followers on Twitter and Facebook, said that people familiar with his work had alerted activists to his presence at the protests shortly after he arrived. Originally from Oklahoma, his notoriety online has stemmed, in part, from his fervent defense of the Confederate flag and monuments.

The trouble started just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday when a group began trailing him and a few of his friends for several blocks, according to Duncomb and court records.

Duncomb said he eventually handed his video camera to a friend and decided to confront one of the men from the group.

“Someone’s stalking us,” the friend is heard saying in the video as Duncomb approaches the man from behind.

Duncomb then forcefully puts his left arm around the man’s shoulder and asks, “Hey buddy, why are you following us?”

The man doesn’t answer and appears to stab Duncomb, who screams and hurtles backward.

Duncomb told the Oregonian the knife entered his back between his rib cage and hip, just inches from his spinal cord.

“The adrenaline just soared through me,” he recounted to the paper. “I had a can of bear mace and a knife on me, too. But I didn’t want to endanger innocent bystanders.”

Duncomb was taken to hospital and released Sunday, he told the Oregonian.

What happened to the suspect?

Police said they found one male suspect held down by several bystanders and one male victim with a stab wound. Police added that they tried to create a crime scene, but the crowd’s aggressive behavior and lack of community cooperation prevented them from doing so.

Blake David Hampe was arrested at the scene, the paper said, citing court records. Hampe, 43, told police that Duncomb had “set up” on him and tried to choke him, the Oregonian added, citing a probable cause affidavit.

Records show Hampe faces charges of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon, both felonies. He remained in jail Thursday on $255,000 bail.

‘I’m not going to let them intimidate me’

Duncomb told the paper he’s slowly recovering and hopes to return to his work soon.

“I wasn’t meant to die. It wasn’t my time to go,” he added to the Oregonian. “I’m not going to let them intimidate me for going back out.”

Leftist women accused of beating up 60-year-old ‘gay progressive’ state senator during riots are arrested

Two women accused of
beating up a Wisconsin state senator as he took video of a crowd that had torn down statues during violent protests last month were arrested Monday, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Kerida E. O’Reilly, 33, and Samantha R. Hamer, 26, turned themselves in and were charged with substantial battery – party to a crime and robbery with use of force – party to a crime,
Madison police said, adding that the pair were identified with the assistance of members of the public.

What’s the background?

Protesters outside the Wisconsin Capitol in Madison smashed windows at the statehouse and tore down statues — and also beat up Democratic state Sen. Tim Carpenter who was observing them after midnight June 24, the
Journal Sentinel reported in a previous story.

Carpenter, 60, told the
Washington Post the violence “has got to stop before someone gets killed. Sad thing I’m on their side for peaceful demonstrations — am a Gay Progressive Dem Senator served 36 years in the legislature.”

Carpenter also posted video on Twitter showing protesters charging at him — and WKOW-TV staffer Lance Vesser tweeted that Carpenter said he was assaulted and then collapsed:

Carpenter said video he was recording “got me assaulted & beat up. Punched/kicked in the head, neck, ribs. Maybe concussion, socked in left eye is little blurry, sore neck & ribs. 8-10 people attacked me. Innocent people are going to get killed. Capitol locked – stuck in office. Stop violence now Plz!”

Here are two images showing what appear to be the individuals seen charging at Carpenter in his video:

Here’s a photo of Carpenter reportedly about the time he was punched in the face:

The Journal Sentinel’s Lawrence Andrea reported, however, that “protesters said [Carpenter] provoked them.”

Paramedics treated Carpenter, but he declined to go to the hospital that night, the paper said, adding that a week later he indicated he had surgery for injuries stemming from the attack.

Anything else?

Not to be outdone by clobbering one of their allies, leftist protesters that night also tore down a statue of an abolitionist who died trying to end slavery during the Civil War, the Journal Sentinel said.

The paper said the nearly century-old statue of Col. Hans Christian Heg — an anti-slavery activist who fought and died for the Union — was decapitated and dragged from its spot guarding the statehouse and thrown into a lake by protesters.

And the statue of Wisconsin’s motto “Forward” — “an allegory of devotion and progress,” according to the Wisconsin Historical Society — also was torn down, the paper said.

Fed-up motorist and black-clad militant pull guns on each other as leftists riot in a smaller Oregon city over weekend

Indeed leftists are showing their solidarity with Portland militants by staging riots of their own in various U.S. cities — and things heated up over the weekend in a smaller Oregon city as well.

What are the details?

Hundreds showed up in Eugene on Saturday night — less than two hours from Portland and with only 177,000 residents — and set off fireworks at a county jail and federal courthouse while attacking businesses with employees trapped inside, Fox News reported.

In the end seven adults and one juvenile were arrested, the network said, after which an anti-capitalist, anti-fascist group of teens that became known amid the Portland rioting appeared to raise money for the jailbirds. The Pacific Northwest Youth Liberation Front’s unverified account retweeted messages directing people to use mobile payment service Venmo to send bail funds, Fox News added.

More from the network:

In Eugene, crowds blocked the streets and prevented one man in a pickup truck from passing, according to conservative journalist Andy Ngo, who made headlines last summer after an attack by members of the far-left militant group Antifa sent him to the hospital.

After the crowd surrounded his vehicle Saturday night, the driver opened his door and pointed his handgun toward another man wearing a black T-shirt and helmet. The demonstrator pointed his own weapon at the driver through the opened car door window as the two faced off amid shouting from the crowd. The now-viral video of the exchange has garnered more than 1.6 million views as of Monday.

The pair jaw with each other in the clip, and the driver appears to say “get the f*** out” while the militant quickly replies “no.” Fox News said it wasn’t clear if either man in the video was among the arrestees.

Armed counter-protesters show up

The network also said armed counter-protesters showed up in Eugene, and a man was arrested after firing a handgun into the air while among crowd of about 300 people.

Police said the counter-protest dispersed before 10 p.m., and 200 remaining demonstrators began launching fireworks toward the federal courthouse and blocking traffic, Fox News said, adding that the group then marched to the Lane County Jail where they threw fireworks into the employee parking area and set off smoke bombs at the building’s entrance.

More from the network:

The “now-riotous group” advanced downtown and began ripping down street signs, spray painting buildings and a police auditor car, and smashed the windows of a Wells Fargo and Whole Foods. They also launched fireworks at the local Elkhorn Brewing and broke several windows while staff was inside.

Officers were pelted with large rocks and police made announcements that the assembly was unlawful. Police deployed pepper ball munitions and CS gas to disperse crowds. A total of seven adults and one juvenile were arrested as a result of the riot.

Unlike in Portland, there is no federal law enforcement deployment in Eugene where local police appear to be keeping their distance and using drones to monitor crowds before stepping in to stop violence, Fox News added.

It’s spreading: Leftists riot in Atlanta, Richmond, other US cities in solidarity with Portland militants

As the profile grows for lawless, left-wing rioters in Portland, Oregon, and their nightly attacks on law enforcement, their comrades across the United States are beginning to follow suit and perpetrate violence and mayhem in other cities.

What are the details?

Seattle, of course, has been a hotbed of leftism and is well known as the city that allowed the deadly “CHOP” autonomous zone to exist for several weeks following the death of George Floyd. But anarchy and destruction have resumed in the Emerald City — although not without detractors making their voices heard, too.

In Austin, Texas, a driver told police he shot a Black Lives Matter protester Saturday who pointed at weapon at him. That protester, Garrett Foster, died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Violent uprisings are hitting other cities, too.

More than 20 people were arrested after a weekend of rioting in Richmond, Virginia, that included fires and smashed windows, the Associated Press reported.

Some participants said the lawlessness was in support of Portland rioters — it had even been billed as “Richmond Stands with Portland” — and Richmond Police Chief Gerald Smith noted his department saw a flyer calling for demonstrations with a tone of “intimidation” and “wanting to produce fear,” the AP reported.

Smith said the ages of those arrested ranged from 17 to 45 and charges included trespassing, riot with a dangerous weapon, and transport of a loaded rifle within city limits, the outlet said.

“The city of Richmond is open and welcomes those who would like to come here in expression of their First Amendment rights,” Smith said, according to the AP. “However, we have to take action when we know that violence is coming.”

Rioters vandalized an immigration building in Atlanta over the weekend, leaving broken windows, spray paint, and scorch marks courtesy of fireworks,
WXIA-TV reported.

The building houses the federal immigration court as well as the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the station said.

More from WXIA:

videos were posted online by at least one group, using the twitter handle @AcidVitalism, was claiming the vandalism was “in solidarity with the freedom fighters of the #PortlandProtests.”

The hashtags #PortlandProtests and #PortlandSolidarity have been used online in reference to the protests against federal law enforcement in recent days in Portland, Oregon.

Additional posts from the group later in the day on Sunday also indicated solidarity with recent demonstrations in other cities, including Seattle, Oakland and Austin.

The group claiming responsibility told the station Sunday the incident was organized with an encrypted app group chat.

“In solidarity with Portland last night, a crowd gathered in Atlanta outside the DHS/ICE office. These agencies are directly responsible for ruining untold numbers of lives, and for the violent policing of the Portland protests,” an email from the group said, in part, according to WXIA. “We will fight with everything we’ve got against [President Donald] Trump’s private police force, against authoritarian and despotic governance. What the police produce, above all, are their own grave-diggers. Their fall and the victory of the ungovernable are equally inevitable.”

Leftist Portland mayor tries chatting with leftist rioters who’ve been burning down his city — and they shred him to bits

One would think that when Democrat Ted Wheeler — the far-left mayor of far-left Portland, Oregon — takes to the streets to speak to a throng of amped-up left-wing rioters, their common ideologies would win the day, and Wheeler would make a little dent in the universe.

But once again, the left dined upon one of their own.

Thing is, these particular leftists have been burning down Portland night after night for nearly two months, trying to breach and set fire to a federal courthouse, destroying property, attacking police, and intimidating and beating up just about anybody who makes the mistake of getting in their way.

So it was no surprise that Wheeler on Wednesday night got the same nasty reception that
left-wing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey received in when he ventured into the leftist lions’ den of protesters and rioters who torched his city in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

What are the details?

As Wheeler walked into the crowds for what he deemed a “listening session,” some threw objects toward him while others called for his resignation, chanting, “Tear Gas Teddy,” the
New York Times said.

Others called his arrival in the streets of Portland a photo op, the Times added.

Content warning: Language:

tear gas actually hit Wheeler, some mocked him and asked how it felt, the paper noted.

Content warning: Language:

“I’m not going to lie. It stings. It’s hard to breathe,” Wheeler said regarding the tear gas deployed by the feds. “And I can tell you with 100% honesty, I saw nothing which provoked this response.”

Wheeler added that federal officers were guilty of an “egregious overreaction” and that it only managed to “piss everybody off even more. It made people angry.” Wheeler likened the feds’ “urban warfare” to kicking “a hornets’ nest.”

Wheeler also pointed his crosshairs at President Donald Trump: “And it’s being brought on the people of this country by the president of the United States, and it’s got to stop now.”

Still, a white mother observed that Wheeler only showed up to the protests after other white mothers attending the demonstrations over the weekend were tear-gassed,
USA Today reported.

“A lot of these people hate my guts,” Wheeler said in an interview, according to the Times.

He was booed, he was cursed out, he was shouted down, he was harassed. “F*** Ted Wheeler!” one leftist shouted out before adding that the mayor is a “f***ing fascist!”

Content warning: Language:

But the Times said he still spent three hours there and even managed to draw cheers when he demanded that the federal government “stop occupying our city.”

It’s fair to say, however, that the show of support may have been a minority view.

Leftist thug caught on video allegedly trying to cut brake lines on NYPD vehicle. He doesn’t get far.

A frequent participant in Occupy City Hall protests in New York City was caught on surveillance video Friday afternoon allegedly trying to cut the brake lines of a police van in Brooklyn, authorities
told the New York Daily News.

An NYPD detective told the paper he spotted Jeremy Trapp moving under a marked NYPD van parked on Fourth Avenue near 43rd Street in Sunset Park about 4 p.m. and recovered a pair of scissors from him.

As it happens, the wrong wire was cut, authorities told the Daily News. The 24-year-old suspect allegedly cut the line that measures wheel speed, the paper said, citing court documents.

Numerous charges were leveled against Trapp, including reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, criminal tampering, auto stripping, and obstructing governmental administration, the Daily News said.

But as with many other arrestees in the Big Apple this year, Trap was released without bail the day after his arrest, the paper said, adding that he’s due back in court in December.

Trapp is an Occupy City Hall protester, police sources told the Daily News.
WNBC-TV reported that he’s been seen coming and going from the protests in recent weeks, officials said. The group has been camped in City Hall Park around the clock for weeks demanding the defunding of the NYPD, the paper said.

Anything else?

The incident is the latest in what’s becoming a troubling anti-police environment, officials told the station, adding that police vehicles have been firebombed, lug nuts have been loosened on their vehicles, and officers have been assaulted.

In fact, officers were physically attacked on the Brooklyn Bridge last week by Occupy City Hall protesters.

Quran Campbell, 25, allegedly punched Lt. Richard Mack of the in the face during the dust-up, the Daily News said. Mack suffered multiple fractures of his orbital bones and cuts needing 12 stitches, the paper said, citing prosecutors’ statements at Campbell’s Thursday arraignment.

And after NYPD Chief of Department Terrance Monahan intervened, court documents said the department’s highest-ranking uniformed officer was punched in the face, too, the Daily News reported.

While Campbell was charged with felony assault, he was freed without bail under supervised release, the paper said.

Chanice Reyes also was charged with felony assault for allegedly walloping an NYPD sergeant and lieutenant with a cane, the Daily News said.
