Big Pharma candidates COVID-19 distribution drugmakers genetic material Headline News Immune System Intelwars late stages mandatory Military Pfizer RNA. mRNA Scientists Trial trials two dose vaccines

Pfizer’s Late Stage COVID-19 Vaccine Trials Near Completion

Pfizer, the drugmaker of one of the COVID-19 vaccines said nearly 36,000 of the volunteers have already received the second of its two-dose of the vaccine. This vaccine is in the very late stages of trials now.

The phase three trials are a critical last step needed to get the vaccines cleared for distribution. Three other U.S.-backed candidates are in phase three: Pfizer expects to apply for an emergency use authorization with the Food and Drug Administration next month.

Trump: “The Military Is Ready To Deliver A Vaccine”

[This vaccine] contains genetic material called messenger RNA, or mRNA, which scientists hope provokes the immune system to fight the virus.

In September, Pfizer expanded the enrollment of its phase three trial to up to 44,000 volunteers from the initial target of up to 30,000. The company said the expansion would allow it to further increase diversity in the trial as well as include adolescents as young as 16 years old and people with preexisting conditions. –CNBC

Pfizer said their data monitoring board, which will assess whether the trial has been successful, has not conducted an interim efficacy analysis yet.

Pfizer Begins Mass Production of COVID-19 Vaccines Anticipating EUA Approval

Pfizer has already begun the mass production of its COVID-19 vaccines even though they are still at the end of phase three trials. It’s too bad people are going to line up to get injected with this concoction. Once it is approved, expect the military and other private companies to begin rolling out this vaccine.

Three other United States government-backed vaccine candidates are in phase three also: Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson. Be aware that this vaccine will be coming and know what you intend to do.  This may not be “mandatory” but the punishment for not taking it could be harsh.

COVID-19 Emergency Preparedness Headline News humans are social Immune System Intelwars lockdown Mental Health rules Shut-down social distaning virus coronavirus

They Want To Make “Social Distancing” A Permanent Part Of Our Lives

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

Humans are inherently social creatures, and that is never going to change.  Within each one of us, there is a fundamental need for connection with others, but now these coronavirus lockdowns have separated us from one another like never before.

Thankfully, many states are now starting to end their lockdowns, but unfortunately, this is definitely not the end for “social distancing”.  Just as 9/11 greatly altered our society on a permanent basis, many of our social engineers now intend to make “social distancing” a permanent part of our lives.  If they have their way, there will be written or unwritten rules about how close you can get to other people virtually everywhere that you go.

Can you imagine a world where you have to constantly be concerned about walking, standing or sitting too close to someone else?

Already, there is talk of putting physical markings on sidewalks in order to constantly remind all of us not to walk too closely to one another…

Arrows on the ground, and other physical markers to encourage and enforce distance. Imagine sidewalks with scoring every 6 feet so those walking could make sure they’re the human equivalent of a few car lengths behind. Or large sculptures deployed to separate people.

And Wal-Mart and other major retailers are already starting to put arrows on the floor to remind us which direction to shop so that we can maintain proper “social distancing”.

We are being told that restaurants may have to start putting empty tables between customers, sports stadiums may have to keep at least half their seats empty, and churches may have to start holding services in shifts.

Just like in the days after 9/11, we will be told that the changes are just “temporary measures”, but once we accept “temporary measures” long enough they have a way of becoming permanent.

When I was much younger, I loved to attend concerts.  And at first I was encouraged to hear that some states were going to start allowing live concerts once again, but then I learned about the new “fan pods”

Travis McCready, the singer of the country-rock band Bishop Gunn, will be performing what’s billed as an “intimate acoustic set” in Fort Smith at the city’s TempleLive venue — but with social distancing measures in place. The show will take place on May 15, three days before the scheduled reopening.

According to Billboard, assigned seats for the show will be at least six feet apart per grouping in what Ticketmaster is calling “fan pods.” As fans enter the venue, they’ll be required to wear face masks (including the venue’s employees), have their temperatures taken at the door and capacity for the 1,100 person venue will be capped at 229.

Are you kidding me?

I understand that they are trying to prevent the spread of the virus, but it isn’t going to work.

Look, unless you plan on locking yourself in your own home for the next couple of years, you are almost certainly going to be exposed to the virus no matter how careful you are.

And once you are exposed to the virus, what is really going to matter is the strength of your immune system, and so that should be your focus instead of trying to maintain “proper social distancing” at all times.

To me, some of the “social distancing” measures that we are now seeing are completely and utterly ridiculous.  For example, at one supermarket in Philadelphia cashiers are actually working in “tent-like” plastic enclosures

At a Philadelphia supermarket, the cashier’s side of each checkout line has been outfitted with a tent-like plastic enclosure, keeping essential workers safe while on the job.

Alexander Tavares, 19, captured now-viral footage of the new working conditions, constructed to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, at a store on March 25.

Those enclosures may protect those workers for a short period of time, but it is inevitable that they will eventually be exposed to the virus.

This pandemic is never going to burn itself out until herd immunity is achieved, and herd immunity is never going to be achieved until about 70 percent of the population catches the virus.

Of course, it would be wonderful if someone could actually find a way to keep 70 percent of the population from becoming infected, but because this virus spreads like wildfire that simply is not going to be possible.

In the end, “social distancing” can temporarily slow the transmission of the virus, but roughly the same proportion of the population will eventually catch it whether we have “social distancing” or not.

Thankfully, some industries are already starting to push back against “social distancing”.  There has been an effort to require airlines to keep middle seats vacant on all flights from now on, and the airlines are fighting this really hard

Airlines are pushing back on proposals to require social distancing onboard aircraft. During a press briefing today, airline industry group IATA argued that leaving the middle seat vacant would hurt airlines’ ability to recover from the coronavirus crisis and potentially cause a spike of up to 54% in airfares.

If you get on an airplane, you pretty much have to assume that you are going to be exposed to all sorts of nasty bugs.  That has always been true, and there will never be a time when it isn’t true.

If you don’t want to be exposed to all sorts of nasty bugs, just don’t fly.

As far as COVID-19 is concerned, there are literally thousands of ways that you could potentially catch this virus, and anyone that believes that “proper social distancing” will keep people 100 percent safe is just being delusional.

Sadly, “social distancing” has been pounded into our heads so relentlessly in recent weeks that a big chunk of the population has become big believers in it.

In fact, one recent survey discovered that almost 60 percent of everyone living in Seattle intends to continue practicing social distancing “for a year or longer”…

Nearly 60 percent of people in Seattle say they plan on doing social distancing for a year or longer.

That’s according to a new survey recently released by a company in New York City called Elucd.

This company said they provide data to the City of Seattle and the Seattle Police Department on the public’s opinions on various topics.

And once you adopt a pattern for a whole year, there is a really good chance that it becomes permanent.

We can’t let them do this to us.

They fundamentally changed our society after 9/11, and now the social engineers want to do it again.

We must stop them this time because the alternative is absolutely unthinkable.

Central Banks COVID-19 Davos Debts deficits Gold governments Headline News herd immunity Immune System Intelwars new cases pandemic Perspective Ray Dalio spending stimulus zero interest rates

I JUST BOUGHT GOLD: Everyone Should – BELIEVE ME!

This article was contributed by Tom Beck for Portfolio Wealth Global.

It Looks Like Powell and Trump are Burying the Hatchet!

Ray Dalio is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, but he ought to make sure to put his predictions INTO PERSPECTIVE. When Mr. Dalio said that cash is trash” in Davos right before the COVID-19 panic, he didn’t mean that cash is to be avoided right away. His true intention was to say that as of 2020, the world is TRANSITIONING into a new age of quantitative easing and you need to understand it IMMEDIATELY!

As you can see below, new cases of reported COVID-19 cases ARE PLUMMETING around the world. There are likely around 100 million infected individuals, about 90 times the reported amount, and THAT’S GOOD.

We’re undergoing what’s known as “herd immunity.” Our body, in its INFINITE INTELLIGENCE having survived tens of thousands of years of ice ages, famines, droughts, and times when chasing calories was the ONLY WORRY of the average person, has a robust immune system and can FIGHT disease.

That isn’t the case with ALL INDIVIDUALS. Most people are suffering from overweight, a lack of sleep, too much stress, other diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and a multitude of Western illnesses, simply by mistreating their physical bodies for decades.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle of proper sleeping, breathing, drinking, eating, being outdoors, and moving (exercising) isn’t the regiment most people follow.

Therefore, we’re seeing COVID-19 mostly INFLICT DAMAGE to weaker immune systems.

We can all learn from this that we need to handle ourselves with respect, NOT SUCCUMB to the lust of tastes.

This virus shall pass, and when it does, governments and central banks have revealed their METHODS OF OPERATION to us.

Courtesy: Zerohedge.com

We will begin RESUMING NORMALCY soon. I expect the U.S. to be RELAXING MEASURES by the end of April in most of the 50 states, and other countries will do the same thing.

At first, most will be cautious and will not want to spend more than they should (individuals and businesses), but the government and the stimulus from it will act AS A CATALYST to this process and SPEED-UP the recovery.

Hotel chains, casino operators, cruise ship lines, travel agencies, and other leisure providers will cut prices and offer flexible terms to entice the pioneers that will return first.

Slowly but SURELY, everyone will RETURN TO LIVING a full and vibrant existence, spending money and looking for ways to entertain themselves, educate themselves, and purchase products and services.

Human nature hasn’t changed; we all CREATE ways of ACHIEVING growth and development in our minds, but our habits may be altered in HOW to get there.

The genie is out of the bottle IN TERMS of spending, and this time IT IS DIFFERENT!

Courtesy: Zerohedge.com

Interest rates are zero around the globe AND that’s not going to change WHATSOEVER because most countries can’t fund their budgets using ORGANIC LENDING.

What I mean by that is that sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and large asset managers AREN’T INTERESTED in lending governments money anymore.

The APPETITE is gone.

Taking the place of these lenders are the central banks themselves. This is called quantitative easing, and thus far it hasn’t caused INFLATIONARY PRESSURE in most developed countries.

The reason is that many assumed it WAS AN EXPERIMENT and that it will end soon.

The jig is up, though: everyone now knows that DEFICITS WILL ONLY INCREASE and that central banks will fund these by increasing the money supply no matter what tax revenues happen to be.

Therefore, as you can see below, DEFICITS ARE MOUNTING:

Courtesy: Zerohedge.com

In other words, now EVERYONE is on the INSIDE OF THIS JOKE.

All governments know now that their colleagues are debasing and they will OPENLY do the same.

Citizens will catch up to this, but not until it is WAY TOO LATE.

So Dalio is right: we are entering a 10-year period where COMPARED TO REAL ASSETS, currencies will fall by 30%-50%, and YOU have first dibs on this since you’ve STUDIED THE MATTER.

Instead of trying to convince your brainwashed friends, WORK to increase your net worth in your main career so that you can invest and COMPOUND at a fast rate!

be healthy Coronavirus eat well Emergency Preparedness experts Food frozen foods grocery store Immune System Intelwars Jennifer Presson nutrition pandemic sold out stockpiling toilet paper

Prepping: Nutritional Canned & Frozen Foods To Stock Up On

Toilet paper has become the hottest commodity of 2020 thanks to the panicked masses boarding it in the hours after the coronavirus was dubbed a pandemic by the World Health Organization on March 11. But most preppers already had enough toilet paper, so instead, it may be better to stock up on healthy frozen foods that will keep your immune system going strong during these difficult times.

It’s best that preppers continue to stock up on frozen foods and canned foods since they have a longer shelf life than fresh produce too. During a pandemic, overall health should be the most important thing. It sure doesn’t seem like it is though when stores are sold out of the wrong frozen foods like TV dinners and frozen pizzas.

Jennifer Presson, a nutritionist at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis recommends people start stocking up on frozen vegetables, frozen and canned fruits, and whole wheat pasta instead of processed foods.  Depending on what you have purchased or what you may already have in your freezer, Presson said there are a lot of meal options you can make for your family that is still healthy.

Instant brown rice, instant quinoa, things that we can cook really quickly,” she said according to Boston 25 News. “Add some canned beans to frozen vegetables and make kind of a grain bowl on a whim.” If you don’t want to leave your home, and some will not, there are still some bulk canned goods left to buy online.

But don’t just stock up. That’s an important step in getting a prepper pantry ready to go for a crisis, but you should be trying to learn to garden and save your food too.  Becoming more self-sufficient will help relieve some of the fears many Americans are currently feeling. You might enjoy fresh vegetables, but going to the grocery store can be taxing on some, especially those who are in a susceptible age group or health concern.

Prepper Foods and Supplies to Survive Coronavirus Without Leaving the House

Canned Green Beans and canned peas are still available. While not as good or nutritious as fresh produce, they’ll still give you at least some of your vitamins and minerals. Peanut butter is also great to stock up on and store for the long-term. An unopened jar of peanut butter will last about 2 years when stored at room temperature. It’s also a great source of healthy fats and provides a good amount of protein, along with essential vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium, potassium, and zinc

Prepping For Two Week Quarantine: Emergency Food Supply

During difficult times, it can often feel easier to just get food that’s already prepared whether it’s good for you or not.  When we’re facing an infection (and most health officials believe this coronavirus could come in waves), it’s best to err on the side of health and eat foods that will get your body ready to fight off  a virus rather than foods that could leave you more vulnerable.

Why Sleep Is VITAL During A Pandemic

With the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, there have been many who have suggested a good night’s sleep as a way to boost your immune system to protect you from the infection.  Sleep is vital, and there are several reasons why.

Your body needs an adequate amount of sleep to fight of infections. That included the coronavirus. If you are losing sleep because of fear (and it’s hard not to when the mainstream media is pumping it out right now 24/7) you aren’t doing your body any favors. Studies show that people who don’t get quality sleep or enough sleep are more likely to get sick after being exposed to a virus, such as the common cold (rhinovirus). Lack of sleep can also affect how fast you recover if you do get sick.

Six (More) Reasons to Get Better Quality Sleep

We are still going to get sick once this pandemic is in our past. We cannot live out lives apart and inside our homes for the remainder of humanity’s existence, so at some point, we all need to do our best to keep ourselves healthy.

During sleep, your immune system releases proteins called cytokines, some of which help promote sleep. Certain cytokines need to increase when you have an infection or inflammation, or when you’re under stress. Sleep deprivation may decrease the production of these protective cytokines. In addition, infection-fighting antibodies and cells are reduced during periods when you don’t get enough sleep.

So, your body needs sleep to fight infectious diseases. Long-term lack of sleep also increases your risk of obesity, diabetes, and heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) disease. –Mayo Clinic

Aim to get 7-8 hours of good quality sleep at night.  More isn’t necessarily better either.  Poor sleep for 10 hours is still not as effective at boosting the immune system as 7 hours of good quality sleep (meaning you stay asleep and don’t toss and turn or wake up frequently at night).

There are some natural solutions to help with your sleep. According to the Mayo Clinic, you can do the following:

  1. Minimize Light and Sound.  By using curtains to eliminate light and shutting down anything that makes noise, you’ll be able to sleep better.  Darkness causes your brain to release melatonin for a calming, sleepy effect. That means, don’t expose your eyes to too much light such as that of a smartphone or the TV right before you go to bed.
  2. Stick To A Routine.  Make a schedule and stick to it, even on the weekends. Get up and go to bed at the same time every day to make sure your body gets into a routine that works for you.
  3. Keep Your Stress Levels Low.  Try to not stress out as much during the day.  Use meditation or prayer if it helps you create a sense of calm.  You can also simply turn off the news.  The mainstream media is in a state of panic and fear right now and that’s creating a public that’s emulating those same emotions. Don’t let others dictate how much stress you have. Anxiety and worry are sleep disrupters.

All of this is easier said than done right now while the globe is battling a pandemic. But it’s important to understand just how vital it is to decrease your fears and worry.  Panicking and consuming fear-mongering media all day can be catastrophic for your immune system, and as preppers, we need to understand how best to protect ourselves, and not just fall victim to our fears.

Simple Prepper Hacks To AVOID Getting The Flu

Hopefully, this will help all of us to get a better night’s sleep and have a better chance when it comes to fighting off all infections.  For more information, visit the Mayo Clinic’s website or talk to your healthcare provider.

Prep Your Immune System To Fight Off Viruses

Preparing for a pandemic is only half what you stockpile.  The other half is fortifying your body and its immune system against viral infections.  The better health you are in, the more likely you will be to not get sick in the first place or to beat the illness swiftly.

Make sure you have some personal protective equipment, especially if you’re older or have underlying health conditions, as the coronavirus will likely be more severe if you contract it.  Most suggest using a properly fitted face mask (N95 or higher) and keeping your distance from others while in public.  You could also wear safety goggles if you’d like.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME (QUARANTINE) FOR A PANDEMIC

Your health should come first though!  Your immune system is your first line of defense against any viral infection.  Once a virus is introduced, the body’s immune system goes into high gear to fight back.  We’ve written extensively on some things you can do to improve your immune system.

Before you start stockpiling for the next crisis or pandemic (or at least in tandem) you should try to get as healthy as possible. Keep your weight in a healthy range, avoid the excess consumption of alcohol, and try to quit smoking.  Get an adequate amount of sleep. You should also cut out as much processed food and sugar as you can.  It’s not good for you, and a healthy gut can go a long way to help your body fight off an infection.  Add more vegetables to your diet and make sure you are eating healthy fats such as avocados or olive oil.

You should also exercise some and do some light stretching if possible. Even now, while most of us are on lockdown, you should move a little.  There are thousands of videos on YouTube of home workouts you can do. This is not new information.  We all should be as healthy as we can be.

Prep For Cold & Flu Season: How To Boost Your Immune System Naturally

Make sure you are prepared and not scared.  Stress is not good for the body and can negatively impact your immune system.  If you’re properly prepared for a crisis, you won’t be stressed out.  Panicking and living in fear can raise the stress hormone cortisol making it harder to fight off a virus.

You should also improve your handwashing. This step is vital at the prevention of most viruses, such as the novel coronavirus, the rhinovirus (common cold) and the flu.  Take the time to wash your hands well and don’t touch your face, eyes, nose, or mouth unless you’ve washed your hands.  Just this one small step that could go far when it comes to combating the spread of communicable diseases.

There is no excuse for mandates and tyranny, even during a pandemic. People in Florida are still able to go to the beach even with the coronavirus still spreading.

Freedom of choice is important.  Most people have chosen to self-quarantine as a means to slow the spread of the coronavirus and prevent from getting infected.  While the mainstream media is berating Governor Ron DeSantis for not closing the beaches, we applaud him for not adding to the already increasing totalitarianism being forced on us in the wake of this pandemic.

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR HOME (QUARANTINE) FOR A PANDEMIC

The governor said that local governments can make their own decisions but that his order would follow the latest guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He did, however, sign an order preventing the gathering of groups of more than ten people.  “What we’re going to be doing for the statewide floor for beaches, we’re going to be applying the CDC guidance of no group on a beach more than 10 and you have to have distance apart if you’re going to be out there,” DeSantis said, according to NBC News.  “So that applies statewide.”

There is only so far freedom-loving and liberty-minded people will be pushed, even in the event of a pandemic. This whole outbreak is likely being used as an excuse to remove what few freedoms we have left and centralize power in the hands of establishment elitists so we can all be permanently enslaved.  How much we allow, is really up to us.

Just like there’s nothing the government can do to stop the spread of the coronavirus, we must take responsibility and practice social distancing.  We should be doing this willingly to protect those who may end up getting severely ill or dying as a result of us spreading it to them. But personal responsibility is not popular in the United States right now.  People whine to be told what to do.

The city of Clearwater said Tuesday that it was shutting down Pier 60 and its spring break camps “out of an abundance of caution” but that its shores remain open to the public.

St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Kriseman on Tuesday reiterated details from DeSantis’ order on Twitter, but he did not mention plans to close the beach.

Coronavirus Death Toll Reaches 100 in the U.S.

Right now, the focus of ShtfPlan.com is to make sure all readers are as UPDATED as possible on the Covid-19 pandemic. Download our EXCLUSIVE report immediately at: http://www.shtfplan.com/virus

This is far from the pictures painted in China, which was full of mobile incinerators and overflowing morgues. But the death toll has reached 100 within the United States, and it’s sure to be a huge concern for the government and the panicked masses.

This virus is very rarely deadly unless you are over the age of 60 or have compromised health already (autoimmune disease, obesity, diabetes, etc.) Those statistics are holding factual in the Amerian death rate. The deadliest cluster of this outbreak so far has been linked to a nursing home in Kirkland, Washington, according to a report by CNN. More than 20 people who lived there and someone who visited the facility have died. People who lived in other long-term care facilities in Washington, Florida, and Kansas contracted the virus and died.

Coronavirus Crisis: The Virus Will Bankrupt More People Than It Kills

Even though some claim the virus isn’t being tested for enough, when simple logic is applied to that, the deadliness of COVID-19 will decrease.  If 100,000 have it and only 100 have died, that’s less deadly than the flu. Because we know, if someone dies of COVID-19 the media and government will make sure it’s used to strike fear into the minds of the masses. Maybe we should be testing more people just to get the public to calm down and stop buying out the toilet paper.

As one doctor said: “Stay alert, not anxious.”

Many people (myself included) have been avoiding public places, not out of fear of getting COVID-19, but because they simply don’t want to be around other people who are losing their minds right now.

Last Minute Quarantine Preps You Can Buy From Home

Truthstream Media‘s Melissa Dykes has a great video about the recent panic titled “Fear is the Mind Killer.”

Please remember, Dykes and others are not saying you shouldn’t be prepared.  We are saying that most people and the media and the government is overreacting. Living a life in fear is not a good way to live, but being prepared and ready for others who panic at media reports should be a lesson we’ve now all learned. You have more to fear about the government’s response to this outbreak and humanity’s panic than you do the actual virus, and that’s all evidenced by the statistics.

Do your part, however, and if you know someone who is older, avoid spreading the virus to them.  Help your elderly neighbors. Clean up their yard or go get groceries for them. Help them order groceries online if you don’t want to go into public. We can all help by voluntarily NOT spreading this around, which will alleviate a lot of fear and make our world a better place.

Exercise precaution and prevent from getting infected if you can. Boost your immune system and stay informed and take the time to enhance your other prepping supplies. Get them in order and start a list of what you’ll need in the coming months to get through a stock market crash.

Preppers don’t have to be negative doomsayers all the time.  The reason we are is that, as we’ve seen, fear is a powerful motivator.  Nothing else has yet worked to get the masses prepping.

“Do Not Call 9-1-1 Just Because You Ran Out Of Toilet Paper”

This article was originally published by Michael Snyder at The End of the American Dream.

Did you ever imagine that you would see the day when police are being called out to protect trucks that are unloading shipments of toilet paper?  Well, in California this is actually happening.  At the Costco in Santa Maria, California police were seen guarding a truck as it unloaded a shipment of toilet paper on Saturday.

Thanks to the tremendous fear that the coronavirus pandemic is creating, toilet paper has become one of the hottest commodities in America all of a sudden.  Many retailers have already started to limit the amount of toilet paper that each customer can purchase, and shortages are becoming increasingly common.

So what should you do if you run out of toilet paper and can’t get anymore?

Well, apparently some people in Oregon have been calling 9-1-1 to voice their concerns.  The Newport Oregon Police Department posted the following message on their Facebook page two days ago…

It’s hard to believe that we even have to post this. Do not call 9-1-1 just because you ran out of toilet paper. You will survive without our assistance.

In fact, history offers many other options for you in your time of need if you cannot find a roll of your favorite soft, ultra plush two-ply citrus scented tissue.

Seamen used old rope and anchor lines soaked in salt water. Ancient Romans used a sea sponge on a stick, also soaked in salt water. We are a coastal town. We have an abundance of salt water available. Sea shells were also used.

Mayans used corn cobs. Colonial Americans also used the core of the cob. Farmers not only used corn cobs, but used pages from the Farmers Almanac. Many Americans took advantage of the numerous pages torn from free catalogs such as Sears and Roebuck. The Sears Christmas catalog, four times thicker than the normal catalog, could get a family of three wiped clean from December through Valentine’s Day; or Saint Patrick’s Day if they were frugal.

Then, of course, there are always alternatives to toilet paper. Grocery receipts, newspaper, cloth rags, lace, cotton balls, and that empty toilet paper roll sitting on the holder right now. Plus, there are a variety of leaves you can safely use. Mother Earth News magazine will even tell you how to make your own wipes using fifteen different leaves. When all else fails, you have magazine pages. Start saving those catalogs you get in the mail that you usually toss into the recycle bin. Be resourceful. Be patient. There is a TP shortage. This too shall pass. Just don’t call 9-1-1. We cannot bring you toilet paper.

I am glad that they approached this “crisis” with a sense of humor, but the reality of the matter is that this is starting to become a full-blown national problem.

At this point, even Amazon is having a very difficult time finding enough toilet paper

Those toilet paper and water shortages at your local markets and big-box retailers have affected Amazon, as well.

The company said over the weekend that it, too, is out of stock on many items, “especially in household staples categories,” and is working “around the clock” and bringing on “additional capacity” to deliver orders.

Ultimately, toilet paper is not essential for survival, and we could do just fine without out.

But what will happen if this pandemic stretches on for many more months and national food supplies start getting really tight?

Let us hope that we don’t get to that point any time soon because it would spark nationwide panic on a scale that is absolutely unprecedented.

Sadly, most Americans could not last very long on what they currently have stored up in their homes.  If we have to go through an extended national lockdown like we have already seen in China or Italy, a lot of the exact same people that mocked us for “preparing” are going to find themselves in a very precarious position.

And in some areas, a lockdown has already occurred.  In fact, more than 6 million residents of northern California have now been ordered to “shelter in place”

Six Bay Area counties announced a “shelter in place” order for all residents on Monday — the strictest measure of its kind yet in the continental United States — directing everyone to stay inside their homes and away from others as much as possible for the next three weeks as public health officials desperately try to curb the rapid spread of coronavirus across the region.

The directive begins at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and involves San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, Marin, Contra Costa and Alameda counties — a combined population of more than 6.7 million.

Most Bay Area residents will be just fine for a few days.

But what happens if this “shelter in place” order lasts for several months?

Over on the east coast, New York City has not been locked down yet, but the latest measures are a big step in that direction

The city that never sleeps has been forced to shut down its bars, restaurants, movie theaters and gyms, including those in New York City’s iconic Times Square, in a bid to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Photos of one of the most famous tourist attractions in the Big Apple show a relatively quiet scene with only a handful of people walking under Times Square’s bright lights on Monday.

The state of New York now has the most confirmed cases in the entire nation, and if this outbreak continues to spread wildly it is just a matter of time before a total lockdown is instituted.

At this point, the United States is on the exact same trajectory as Italy.  If this continues, the same things that are happening there will start happening here.

In the northern portion of the country, the death toll is becoming truly frightening.  In fact, we just learned that six Catholic priests have died from the virus in the city of Bergamo alone

At the heart of the European coronavirus crisis in northern Italy’s city of Bergamo, six Catholic priests have died during the past week from the disease and, as of Sunday, over 20 priests were hospitalized.

The Bishop of Bergamo, Francesco Beschi, confirmed this numbers speaking with the Italian TV news network Rainews24.

Anyone that has to deal with the public is going to be at great risk during this pandemic, and so it is vital not to underestimate the deadliness of this virus.

Just a few weeks ago there were zero cases in Bergamo, but now the city’s crematory has so many dead bodies it is unable to keep up

An Italian mayor says that his city’s crematory is now “unable to dispose of all the work it has to do,” as there have been so many bodies of those who have died due to the coronavirus.

Giorgio Gori — the mayor of Bergamo, Italy — says that it is no longer only the hospitals that are in a state of emergency but also the crematorium responsible for managing the bodies, according to a report by Il Giornale.

Doesn’t that sound eerily similar to what happened in Wuhan?

If we don’t get this outbreak under control somehow, the same thing will eventually happen in the United States too.

But most Americans still seem to believe that this virus is not a serious threat to them personally.  In fact, a brand new survey discovered that only 19 percent of Americans expect to catch COVID-19…

The survey of 502 people at least 18 years old shows that fear and panic doesn’t seem to be completely overtaking most households, but plenty of Americans are worried. In all, 19% of respondents think they’ll be diagnosed with coronavirus at some point.

Interestingly, nearly one in ten (9%) people went as far to admit they believe they have coronavirus right now.

Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs is projecting that half the U.S. population will eventually become infected.

A lot of people that are not taking this seriously will eventually get sick and die.

And this is especially true for those that are openly mocking this pandemic.  Right now, “the coronavirus challenge” is getting a lot of attention on social media for all the wrong reasons.

As a part of this challenge, people are literally licking toilet seats and doorknobs

No matter what’s at stake, please don’t try this challenge, folks.

There’s a brand new challenge introduced on TikTok where people are licking everyday items that are often for public use.

Yes, these include toilet seats and doorknobs.

How unbelievably stupid do you have to be to do something like that?

Unfortunately, this is yet another perfect example of how far our society has degenerated.

We have literally become an “idiocracy”, and we are sitting ducks for a deadly virus that is not going to show us any mercy whatsoever.

Ready for a Cashless Society? WHO Says Contaminated Cash and Spread the Coronavirus

The World Health Organization is saying that cash could be contaminated with the coronavirus, and you should avoid using it if you want to stay healthy.

Instead of urging people to practice effective handwashing techniques and try to naturally and safely boost their immune system with proper nutrition and adequate amounts of sleep as a means to protect from the coronavirus, the WHO is saying cash is contaminated. Again, the simple fix here is a good hand washing routine, however, it seems like propaganda towards a cashless society.

People have been warned to wash their hands after using banknotes and if possible to use contactless payments instead. This warning comes after both China and Korea last month began disinfecting and isolating used banknotes as part of their efforts to stop the spread of the virus.

Prepping For The Coronavirus: Hand Washing Is Vital

Back in 2014, a website called PYMNTS wrote an article posing the question of whether or not “dirty money” can push us to a cashless society. It expressed that elitists are making sure everyone knows that cash is “dirty” and can carry germs that make us sick. But so can a plethora of other things. Unless you live in a bubble, you’re going to be exposed to germs.  Still, many are on board with not using cash.

MasterCard found that 39 percent of Europeans are open to the idea of using a credit or debit card or contactless payment instead of cash to be more hygienic. In terms of replacing cash, the majority of surveyed individuals – 63 percent – chose card payments, while 35 percent said that they would prefer to make online payments instead of using cash. –PYMNTS

Others say a market crash would be needed to usher in a cashless system.  If you’ve watched the news or read anything lately, you’d also already know that the markets aren’t doing well in spite of authoritarian interventions from the Federal Reserve.

Prepping For The Coronavirus: Hand Washing Is Vital

When you are preparing for the possibility of a massive outbreak or even a pandemic, one of the first things you should evaluate is your handwashing regime and personal hygiene. While face masks could provide some protection against infection, you should also ensure you wash your hands correctly!

According to research, a mere 5% of people wash their hands properly after using the restroom. Probably even fewer people wash their hands properly to prevent the contraction of a potentially deadly virus, such as the flu or the coronavirus. Because an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, here is the suggested way to wash your hands:

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds minimum, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. In a pinch, people can use a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Remember to never touch your face, especially the eyes, nose, or mouth unless you’ve washed your hands well.

Proper handwashing protocol includes five steps, according to the CDC: wetting hands with clean running water; lathering soap on hands, including under nails, between fingers and the backs of hands; scrubbing at least 20 seconds, or roughly twice the length of the “Happy Birthday” song; rinsing hands, and drying them with an air dryer or clean towel.

Boosting handwashing rates at airports around the world could slow a potential pandemic by 24% to 69%, and increasing handwashing at only 10 major airports could reduce pandemic risk by up to 37%. — MIT study

In addition to taking the time to properly wash your hands, you should take other precautionary measures, such as avoiding contact with sick people; not touching your eyes, mouth, and nose with unwashed hands; staying home when you’re sick, and covering your sneeze or cough with a tissue that you then throw out immediately.  You can also wear an N100 face mask to help prevent the inhalation of infected droplets.

“Our study concludes that population engagement with proper hand hygiene could be a simple and effective solution for preventing transmission of infections and reducing the risk of massive global pandemics,” the authors of the MIT study wrote.

As much as preparing by boosting your immune system and improving your “pandemic supplies,” you should be concerned with handwashing.
