This article was contributed by The Wealth Research Group, and we deem it important!

In 2020, our inbox got filled after each and every letter we published that mentioned either Trump or Biden; it’s like walking on eggshells. I want to address this topic of favoritism or bias towards either Republicans or Democrats, Biden or Trump, America First or Globalism, socialism (communism) vs. capitalism, free speech or censorship (Section 230) and all the other highly inflammatory subjects that Americans, from both sides of the aisle, are not seeing eye-to-eye on and find no middle-ground to compromise on.

Hopefully, this will put to rest any confusion about where we stand on these issues and, instead of a flood of emails each time we express commentary, there will be an understanding of expectations, so that you’ll see our point of view.

The first thing to note is that we have heard and looked into all of the arguments from both sides:

* We have heard and looked into Trump supporters consider the following to be indisputably true: Joe Biden is a pawn of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the mainstream media and tech giants are suppressing the evidence of voter fraud (creating a false narrative), they’re purposefully not reporting about Hunter Biden’s legal issues (since it would have reflected horribly on Joe’s presidential aspirations), globalists agendas are hijacking America’s middle-class jobs and sending them overseas (the Deep State and its operatives), bankrupting the wealth of the average American (through debt and currency creation). They are also rewriting history and creating a radical left policy (“woke” Americans and “Cancel Culture”), which will rob Americans of their God-given rights and freedoms set forth by the Constitution, by trampling all over it (propaganda and BLM, for example). If Biden gets his way, America is toast and there will be nothing to stop Democrats on their quest to implement their own version of 1984.

On the flipside, Americans who hate President Trump also believe they’ve got all of their ducks in a row and take the following to the bank:

* We have heard and looked into what they live and swear by, which are the following: President Trump is a liar and a clown, who is not to be trusted. He destroyed America’s prestige among world leaders by ruining relationships with other countries, disregarding climate change, colluding with Russia, creating racist policies, helping his friends with favors, exaggerating and cheating, allowing people to die from the pandemic by not sticking with the science (he closed the borders first, but did not enforce masks…) and creating a more dangerous Middle East by removing troops, creating a power vacuum that terrorists will fill instead.

We are well aware of, highly familiar with and constantly checking various media sources in order to absorb all narratives and digest the data from all angles.

We listen to many channels, which have been taken down from YouTube and now publish on alternative platforms and we also listen to the mainstream narrative, in order to understand where most Americans (certainly most of millennials) get their “facts” from.

There are no blind spots or areas where we’re being naïve or complacent. There are no areas where we’re bending over and accepting tyranny or allowing any media source to dictate reality to us. By wearing a mask, we are not saying that CNN is right and by not wearing one, we are not saying that coronavirus does not exist and that this is all 5G-related. Said differently, we are not “persuaded” or brainwashed.

We’re not a political publication at all, but because politics is woven into the market behavior, we certainly must comment on it, which creates friction, when the letter does not conform to the reader’s view of the world. It’s impossible to publish any worthwhile insight, without aggravating a single soul, unfortunately.

Therefore, whenever we incorporate politics into our letters, it is done for the purpose of showing not what WE believe is the truth about Biden, Trump or their respective agendas, but what “the street” (which is to say Wall Street) believes to be the truth, since our mission is to highlight financial and investment opinions and reporting.

If I think the moon landing never happened, that the Earth is actually flat and that Area 51 is filled with aliens and I’ve got all the supporting evidence to back these claims, it will do me no good from a financial perspective, if Wall Street is not trending in this fashion.

Over 80% of money invested in stocks is transacted by large funds and massive pools of wealth, and Computer Algorithm Trading, so the value of knowing what the street is thinking is ENORMOUS.

If, for instance, you believe that Joe Biden is going to hand over American interests to the Chinese, or, on the flipside, you believe that four more years of Trump will result in America losing its respect with world leaders, the BEST and first thing you can do in either case is become financially independent, so that you can protect you and yours from what’s coming.

Your highest priority in life should be to live your BEST LIFE, since politics will never be just how you want it. One cannot be a victim of the times he is living in and this doesn’t mean being silent about injustices or not saying what you believe, but it does mean to not allow these issues to bring your quality of life down with them!

Bottom line: our publication projects the sentiment of the street, not that of the author, because the street is what matters!

After we release information, we dissect the potential opportunities it creates. This is how we showcased Bitcoin at $450/coin, when Jamie Dimon was threatening to fire employees, who traded it. We saw that the street was bullish. We released information and offered our opinion. This is how we turned bullish on stocks in late March, when we saw the FED would do anything to get the markets functioning again.

When we say that one should tolerate the opinions and notions of the very people he despises, we do not mean one should ACCEPT them by any stretch of the imagination. If someone came to me explaining Marxism, for example, I would listen with an open mind in order to understand how he thinks about the world, but his opinion would then be challenged with facts, from my part. I refuse to accept bullshit and unsubstantiated opinions, but I also refuse to be closed-minded, impatient or not exhibit courtesy, by turning away. Tolerating does not equal agreeing with or succumbing to the other side!

It means that we respect the diversity of opinions and the right of others to believe what they want. In the end, we lead by example; therefore, openly discussing issues and getting down to the root causes of why people think certain thoughts will help rid the world of foolish notions. Not being tolerant actually adds fuel to their convictions and puts them on the defensive and back them into a corner. We see it with teenagers all the time; whatever a parents warns them not to do, that’s what they’ll be obsessed with doing to spite their folks.

So, after this long background explanation of the purpose of this newsletter, know that when we state that President Trump just signed into law the $600 stimulus checks, there will be those who claim that he had caved, while others would reject that and believe that it’s part of his greater strategy.

Both could be right, but where is the VALUE in analyzing it?

The value is in understanding what the big money thinks, because that’s where opportunity exists. This is the main mission of our newsletter, which deals with financials.

The street is convinced that 2021 will be a bit more inflationary than in recent years and that’s important for you to know!

With the Treasury General Account holding $1.5tn, which they’ll spend into the real economy, with oil prices and agricultural commodities breaking out and with the GSCI on the verge of breaching a 12-yr resistance line, that’s the most important piece of information from a financial point of view – which is what you’ll always get from us.

AOC hit with blowback for calling for a list of ‘Trump sycophants’ to hold them accountable in the future

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) faces backlash after calling for a list of social media posts from “Trump sycophants” so that they will be held accountable in the future.

On Friday afternoon, the far-left Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter: “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

The idea of a list of Trump allies was embraced by former CIA ops officer Evan McMullin, who wrote, “We should keep and publish a list of everyone who assists Trump’s frivolous and dangerous attacks on the election. Name and shame forever.”

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin also agreed, “Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”

Michael Simon, an ex-staffer of former President Barack Obama, Michael Simon, was thrilled to share a list of Trump allies.

“Every Administration staffer, campaign staffer, bundler, lawyer who represented them — everyone,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet, and also shared a link to a site called “The Trump Accountability Project.”

Hari Sevugan, former national press secretary for the Democratic National Committee and senior spokesman for the Barack Obama presidential campaign, promoted the registry of Trump allies by writing, “We just launched the Trump Accountability Project to make sure anyone who took a paycheck to help Trump undermine America is held responsible for what they did.”

Emily Abrams, the national surrogates director for Pete Buttigieg’s failed presidential campaign, also promoted the Trump Accountability Project in a now-deleted tweet.

The Trump Accountability Project website states, “We must never forget those who furthered the Trump agenda.”

“We should welcome in our fellow Americans with whom we differ politically. But those who took a paycheck from the Trump Administration should not profit from their efforts to tear our democracy apart,” the homepage of the site reads. “The world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The site reportedly had a spreadsheet of donors, staff, and judicial appointees of President Donald Trump on a Google Drive, which has since been made private and deleted off the website, but is still viewable here.

There was a wave of pushback against AOC’s registry of Trump supporters. Conservatives and liberals responded to AOC’s tweet, and explained why making lists of political enemies leads down a dangerous path.

Many online commenters compared the self-described democratic socialist’s idea for a list of political adversaries with authoritarian regimes such as China, Joseph Stalin’s Russia, and Fidel Castro’s Cuba. Others saw a parallel to McCarthyism and blacklisting during the 1950s.

Some, including Rep. Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) volunteered to be placed on the list, while Megyn Kelly advocated using AOC’s list as a campaign tool.

Bernie Sanders endorses far-left Portland mayor candidate who openly embraces communist authoritarians

Far-left Portland mayoral candidate Sarah Iannarone, who has described herself as an “everyday anti-fascist” and declared, “I am Antifa,” has received a huge endorsement on Thursday from Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Iannarone was excited to get the support from the self-avowed socialist.

Iannarone, who has embraced the label as the “Antifa mayor,” shared Sanders’ endorsement on her campaign website.

In every corner of the country, strong progressives are running at the state and local level to represent our movement and lead the fight to transform this country. These races are incredibly important — that’s why I am endorsing progressive, down-ballot candidates across the country. If you can, I hope you’ll cast your ballot for them when you vote.

Iannarone responded by saying, “Thank you, Senator Sanders. Bernie sees a progressive running to challenge the status quo, and he wants to help.”

“I am proud to receive his endorsement,” she continued. “I’m excited to work on behalf of the 99% to hold big corporations accountable and to fight for health care for all Portlanders and everyone across the country.”

The ultra-progressive Iannarone is taking on incumbent Portland Democratic Mayor Ted Wheeler, who has been the mayor since 2017. A poll released earlier this month found that the race is extremely tight with Iannarone at 34% and Wheeler at 33%.

In 2016, Iannarone tweeted a photo of another person’s ballot with dictators such as Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin Joseph Stalin, Vladimir Lenin, and Ho Chi Minh as write-ins.

“Quite possibly my favorite ‘I voted this way’ photo to date,” she tweeted, adding that she “hearts” all of the despots.

Iannarone openly advertises that she admires communist authoritarians. She was seen wearing a skirt with the faces of Che Guevera, Joseph Stalin, and Chairman Mao printed on it.

Earlier this month, Iannarone praised Joe Biden for saying that Antifa is an “idea.” During a debate against Wheeler, the Portland mayoral candidate was asked about how she would handle protests in the city, which she responded, “I love that Joe Biden answered this question before me, because being opposed to fascism in 2020 is not something to be embarrassed about.”

“I have a bumper sticker from the beginning of my campaign that says #EverydayAntifascist,” Iannarone proclaimed. “And what I have tried to do is normalize peaceful responses to the rise of white nationalism by organizing in my community.”

A new report was published this week that found America’s youth is increasingly embracing communism, socialism, and Marxism. Millennials and members of Gen Z were far more likely to adopt communism and collectivism. Many were in favor of eliminating capitalism completely to make way for socialism.

Eye-opening number of America’s youth embraces Marxism and socialism, shuns capitalism

America’s youth is increasingly embracing communism, socialism, and Marxism, according to a new report. The Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation released its “Annual Report on U.S. Attitudes Toward Socialism, Communism, and Collectivism,” which found that a concerning amount of millennials (anyone born between 1981 and 1996) and Gen Z-ers (anyone born after 1996) are in support of eliminating capitalism in favor of socialism.

The survey of 2,100 Americans, age 16 and older, found that 26% of Americans support the gradual elimination of the capitalist system in favor of a more socialist system, especially among younger generations (31% of Gen Z and 35% of millennials).

There were 40% of Americans who had a favorable opinion of socialism, up from 36% last year. Leading the march toward socialism is Generation Z, which 49% see as favorable, up from 40% in 2019.

An eye-opening number of Gen-Z-ers have warmed up to Marxism in the past year, going from 6% in 2019 to an inconceivable 30% this year. Then there was 18% of Gen Z who believe communism is a fairer system than capitalism. There were 39% of Americans who were likely to support a Democratic Socialist politician, and again Gen Z was way more open at 51%.

Only 63% of Gen Z and millennials say that the Declaration of Independence better guarantees freedom and inequality over the Communist Manifesto.

There were 51% of Gen Z-ers who believe that the United States is a racist nation with a long history of discrimination, according to the poll.

The survey also highlights a lack of history knowledge, where 64% of Americans did not know that the Chinese Communist Party is responsible for more deaths than Nazi Germany.

The report also highlights how younger generations have a bias against President Donald Trump. The survey discovered that 39% of Gen Z believes the president is more responsible for the coronavirus pandemic than Chinese Communist Party President Xi Jinping, despite COVID-19 originating in China.

Sadly, only 44% of Gen Z says that the American flag represents freedom.

“We are seeing the high watermark, politically, of socialism [and] Marxism in the United States,” VOC executive director Marion Smith told Fox News. “Never before in history has the United States seen positive opinions of these ideologies to the extent that we’re seeing today. That’s just a fact.”

The Global Police State Is Swiftly Rising

This article was originally published by Brandon Smith at Alt-Market.

There is always an excuse for the enforcement of totalitarian restrictions on the public. There is always a reason.  And, often these reasons are engineered to sound logical and practical at the time.

In Germany after WWI and into the early 1930s Bolshevik activists and the German Communist Party (KPD) engaged in aggressive economic sabotage, street violence, and even assassinations. This along with the Great Depression led to German middle-class support for the National Socialist Party and the Third Reich (fascism).  Much of history’s focus is on the horrors of the Nazis, but many people are unaware of the extreme threat of the communist revolution in Europe during this era, a threat which was used by the Nazis as a perfect rationale for constructing a police state. Arguably, without the existence of hardline communism, the fascists never would have had the public support needed to rise to power.

In Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution, the Cheka secret police were established in the name of preventing “counter-revolution”. This is an interesting aspect common to communism in particular; they desperately cling to the narrative that THEY are the “revolutionaries”, even when they have all the power. Thus, the revolution never ends because there are always people who disagree with communism. Anyone who refuses to comply with Marxist mandates becomes an imperialist enemy and bogeyman and is held up as an example of why the revolution must perpetually continue. The police state must exist forever to root out the evil classists lurking in the shadows.

During the 1918 Spanish Flu outbreak, a virus with a much higher death rate among younger Americans compared to today’s coronavirus, major US cities such as New Orleans instituted martial law measures and lockdowns on the economy; closing schools, churches, public transportation, and places of leisure. Of course, despite claims in the wake of COVID, these measures did little to nothing to stop the spread of the virus and the public became frustrated with their inability to function in the day-to-day economy (sound familiar). The population began to rebel against restrictions that were leading to financial decay, and there was little governments could do about it.

I’ve noticed that the mainstream media has attempted in the past six months to rewrite the history of the Spanish Flu as if martial law measures were a success, even though ultimately the flu ran its natural course in the majority of US cities. Infections and deaths continued unabated until the virus burned itself out and disappeared (no working vaccine was ever produced though there were many failed attempts based on the assumption that the disease was bacterial). Martial law actions only served to drag out the timeline of the virus.

One could argue that a hundred years ago governments did not have the same tools at their disposal as they do now. But are we really that much further ahead? Virologists have been working on an effective SARS vaccine for almost two decades with little success; the idea that they could come up with a working vaccine for COVID in the span of a year (as many governments are suggesting) seems absurd. History shows us that when vaccines are rushed into production by authorities, very bad things happen.

Regardless of lockdown measures, infection rates continue to climb in many nations, thereby justifying EVEN LONGER or more frequent lockdowns. This creates an endless cycle of economic instability which the public cannot endure, and many people are beginning to wonder what purpose of the pandemic restrictions serve? It’s obviously not to slow the virus and save lives as an effective vaccine is unlikely to be developed in time for the lockdowns to matter. But, if you wanted to quickly implement a totalitarian system, then using a global health threat as justification might be the ticket.

The problem for the establishment will be this: How can they keep the tyranny going once they have it? Ultimately, for a totalitarian system to work it NEEDS a large portion of the public to support it on principle. The public has to believe that the loss of their liberties is necessary to their survival for the long term.

What I find most interesting is the disparity in response to the two sides of the crisis today. Just as in the early part of the 20th century, we have a communist uprising as well as a global pandemic that the public is growing increasingly suspicious of. How the government treats each problem is obviously different.

For example, the law enforcement response to the BLM and ANTIFA riots has been rather subdued and passive. I was in Pittsburgh for the G20 event in 2009 and I can tell you from experience that the police response was vicious and highly coordinated, and this was against groups that were doing nothing more than chanting slogans in the street without a permit from the city (the city government only gave out ONE protest permit while the G20 were present in Pittsburgh).

There was no rioting and minimal damage to private property, yet law enforcement deployed full force measures including Spartan formations, sound cannons, rubber bullets, and armored vehicles. Watch video footage of the G20 in Pittsburgh and then compare it to the riots in Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, New York, etc. It should become clear to you that for some reason police are being ordered to hold back the majority of the time.

Another glaring issue is the media response to the riots. They refer to the protests as exclusively peaceful despite mass looting, destruction of private property, and violence. They treat BLM as sacrosanct and untouchable and act as an attack dog against anyone criticizing the actions of the organization. The issue of social distancing and virus spread is dismissed or ignored when it comes to BLM.

By extension, examine the mainstream media response to the protests against coronavirus lockdown restrictions. No riots, no looting, no violence on the part of conservative and moderate protesters, yet the media demonizes them as if they are a threat to the very fabric of our society. Look at how quick authorities have been to arrest people who refuse to follow lockdown restrictions, and take into account how aggressive arrests have been in other countries like Australia, Spain, or the UK for doing nothing more than posting messages on Facebook or not wearing a mask on the street.

I think my point here is clear: The establishment supports social justice violence and unrest and is cracking down hard on any resistance to medical tyranny. The hypocrisy is evident.

But this brings up some questions; such as why they are so keen to allow the BLM riots to continue? As noted at the beginning of this article, I think the strategy is evident – It’s a two-pronged attempt, a bait and switch: If the Marxists are successful and meet little resistance from the public then they will tear down the current system, and the elitists’ institutions that fund them like George Soros’s Open Society Foundation and the Ford Foundation will use the opportunity to build an Orwellian collectivist society from the ashes.

On the other hand, as in Germany in the 1930s, the civil unrest caused by hard-left groups could also convince the general public that martial law measures are an acceptable solution and make them willing to sacrifice constitutional protections in order to rid themselves of the threat. There have been examples of this recently when federal agents initiated a black bagging of protester in Portland using unmarked vans; all I saw from most conservatives was cheering. This would undoubtedly lead to a long term totalitarian structure that, once again, benefits the elites that inhabit every aspect of government including Trump’s White House.

In both cases, the power elites get what they want – a police state.

In terms of the pandemic response, a police state is already being established in many nations, and with most Western people’s predominantly disarmed there is little chance they will be able to resist the crackdown that will ensue as they try to protest the restrictions. But what about in America?

This is why it does not surprise me that the BLM riots are being encouraged so openly in the US. Look at it this way: If the elites cannot get us to go along with medical tyranny for fear of sparking an armed uprising from conservatives with actual training and ability, then they figure maybe they can trick us into supporting martial law in the name of defeating the political left.

The only solution is to refuse to support either option. We must repel the establishment of medical tyranny and stand against any overstep of state and federal governments against the constitution when it comes to protests. Riots and looting can be dealt with and dealt with within the confines of the Bill of Rights. Also, once again I would point out that in almost every place where armed citizens organize and take up security measures in their communities the protests remain peaceful, or they don’t happen at all.

There is no legitimate excuse for a police state. There is always another way. Anyone that tells you different has an agenda of their own.

Cuban immigrant has dire warning for Americans, says ‘communists’ are trying to take over US

Maximo Alvarez, a Cuban immigrant turned American businessman, has a dire warning about the direction of America.

Alvarez, who escaped communist Cuba nearly 60 years ago, sat on a business roundtable last week that included top business leaders, politicians, and even President Donald Trump.

Scott McIntyre/Bloomberg via Getty Images

During the event, Alvarez explained that “communists” are now trying to force Americans to swallow the same “pill” that Fidel Castro tricked Cuban into swallowing during the Cuban Revolution.

“What is happening in our backyard today, I experienced as an 11-year-old. I remember vividly all the promises that a guy named Castro gave, and how 99% of the people swallowed the pill,” Alvarez said.

According to Alvarez, Castro was selling the same bill of free goods to Cubans that far-left politicians are attempting to sell Americans today.

“I remember all the promises that we hear today about free education and free health care and free land,” Alvarez said.

“My God, no freedom,” he continued. “But he never said that until after he was in power, got rid of all the police, got rid of all the military — been there for the last 60 years and counting. And he destroyed each and every one who helped him.”

Later in his speech, Alvarez pleaded with young Americans to not become the same “useful idiots” that Castro turned the Cuban people into, before sharing sage advice from his father.

“He saw me graduate from college, and that was the biggest prize he ever had. And he said, ‘Don’t lose this place because you’re never going to be as lucky as me. Because if you lose this place, you have no place to go,'” Alvarez explained.

Alvarez is founder and president of Sunshine Gasoline Distributors, which operates in South Florida.

Is America Heading For Civil War? Of Course It Is…

This article was originally published by Brandon Smith at Alt-Market.

In last week’s article, I discussed the issue of American “balkanization” and the rapid migration of conservatives and moderates from large population centers and states that are becoming militant in their progressive ideology. In my home state of Montana, there has been a surge of people trying to escape the chaos and oppression of leftist states.

Some are here because of the pandemic and the harsh restrictions they had to endure during the first lockdowns. Others are here because they can’t stand the hostility of identity politics, cancel culture, and race riots. Either way, they are fleeing places with decidedly leftist influences.

Uprooting and moving to an entirely new place is not an easy thing to do, especially in the middle of a pandemic. For many people, such an idea would have been unthinkable only a few years ago. Believe me, moving to a place like the Rocky Mountain Redoubt is not an easy transition for most. Hopefully, these people understand that they will have to make extensive preparations for the rough winter and be ready to work hard in the spring and summer months to survive. Maybe they don’t realize yet how tough it is here; maybe they know and don’t care.

That’s how bad the situation has become – Rational and reasonable people are willing to leave behind their old life and risk it all to keep a margin of freedom.

In my view, it is clear that the political left has gone so far off the rails into its own cultism that there is no coming back. There can be no reconciliation between the two sides, so we must separate, or we must fight. I advocate for separation first for a number of reasons:

First and foremost, conservatives are the primary producers within American culture. If we leave the leftists to their own devices there is a chance they will simply implode in on themselves and eat each other because they have no idea how to fill the production void. The recent developments in the defunct CHAZ/CHOP autonomous zone are a perfect example. Those people don’t have the slightest clue what they are doing and it shows.

Second, if conservatives separate it provides a buffer that helps defuse future random conflicts. When you force the two sides into a box together eventually they will find a reason to try to kill each other. Putting some distance between them and us reduces the angst.

Third, if the leftists decide they don’t like that we have separated and are thriving on our own, and they attempt to antagonize or attack us where we live, then we hold the clear moral high ground when we smash them to pieces in response.

I fully realize that the third outcome is the most likely. War is probably inevitable. Why? Because collectivists and narcissists are never satisfied. They desire unlimited control over the lives of others and they will use any means to get that control no matter how destructive. Separating from them is only a stop-gap that allows us to take a superior position. Through peaceful migration, we set the pace of the conflict. Eventually, they will come after us, and there will be no doubt about our response then. There will be no way to spin the result in their favor, no way for them to play the victims.

Some people might question if we are actually to the point of open conflict; they might accuse me of “doom-mongering”. Others may argue that conservatives are acting “passive” and that we will never take any action. These assumptions are common right now because such people do not understand how history progresses and how group psychology evolves.

Domestic war is not something pursued lightly, or haphazardly. The average person knows at least subconsciously that it’s better to seek resolution or to remain patient as events unfold. Conservatives aren’t stupid; we know that before any civil war there is first a culture war. And, we know that the cards are stacked against us and that if we act rashly in any way we will lose position in that culture war.

So, we let the leftists spit and rage like madmen for a little while. Each day people who were on the fence when it comes to the culture war are witnessing this and come over to our side because we’re the only side that is sane. The drawback is, there comes a point in which calm professionalism might be wrongly perceived as weakness. And when people sense weakness among conservatives, they might run into the arms of the extreme left thinking that it’s safer to join the “winning team”.

I believe conservatives have not been sucked into a reactionary stance yet because they are thinking logically and refusing to play the game for now. In some ways, it is how we enter the fight that is more important than the fight itself.  To understand why, we have to look at the bigger picture beyond the left/right conflict.

As I noted last week, the political left is a tool for a greater agenda. They are being used as a weapon of chaos by globalist interests. This is not “conspiracy theory”, this is a conspiracy fact. Millions of dollars have poured into Antifa and BLM related groups through elitist donors like George Soros and his Open Society Foundation as well as the Ford Foundation. Globalist institutions like these have been influencing the extreme left and promoting identity politics for DECADES. This is openly admitted. What we are witnessing in 2020 is simply the culmination of a half-century-long propaganda campaign that created the modern feminist movement, victim group status, entitlement culture, etc.

The reason for the agenda should be obvious: Chaos creates fear. Fear creates division and crisis. And, crisis creates opportunity (as globalist Rahm Emanuel once bragged). Meaning, the extreme left is going to start a war because that’s exactly what the global elites created them for.

Now, some might suggest that this places conservatives in a Catch-22 position; if we don’t fight back then we will look weak. We will be culturally isolated and eventually overrun and wiped from the history books. If we do fight back we will be giving the globalists what they want – A civil war that will tear America apart.

The suggestion by certain special interests will be that there is only one way out; use government power to turn the tide to our advantage. In other words, institute martial law. I don’t really see it that way.

Once we understand that a fight is coming regardless, our task is to position ourselves with the most advantage possible while keeping our culture and our principles intact. This includes our belief in constitutionalism, civil liberties, and opposition to tyranny in ANY form. Winning the fight is important, but maintaining our principles in the process is more important. Becoming a monster to fight the monster is the same as losing.

When the left comes for us (and they will), the fight has to be won by us, not government. We cannot hand even more power to government in the name of security. We cannot become the fascists the leftists accuse us of being.

I am often asked these days about my view of the 2020 election and how it will turn out. I did predict Trump’s election win in the summer of 2016 based on the idea that Trump’s presence in the White House would drive the left insane, as well as give the globalists a perfect “conservative” scapegoat for the economic collapse they had been engineering since at least 2008.

Trump’s cabinet of global elitists suggests his complacency in this plan.  We still live under a one-party system pretending as if it is a two-party paradigm.

Furthermore, I am not convinced there will even be an election in November. With pandemic lockdowns surely returning as infections spike once again, the US economy will be in ruins by winter. Voting in a traditional fashion will be difficult or restricted in some states. And, mail-in or digital ballots will not be accepted by most conservatives because of their history of being used to rig election outcomes.

Look at it this way: If Trump “wins”, or delays the election, the left will riot and a civil war will be triggered. Conservatives will have to deal with the violence of the left while also dealing with the potential for martial law (which we cannot tolerate or support either). If Biden “wins”, it will be perceived by many conservatives who still think elections matter as a stolen presidency engineered through fraudulent ballot practices.

To summarize, if Trump is still in the White House in 2021, get ready to fight back against leftist mobs as well as martial law measures. If you believe in freedom, realize that fake conservatives that support government tyranny will be as much a problem as Marxist lefties. If Biden enters the White House, expect him to immediately implement unconstitutional policies including medical tyranny, gun confiscation, and martial law. Either way, it ends in war.

It’s also the classic false choice narrative:  You can choose Marxism and communism, or you can choose fascism.  Communism being the elevation of the weak and the oppression of the strong in the name of arbitrary “equality”, and fascism being the elimination of the weak or less fortunate in the name of making more room for the strong.  Both sides rely on totalitarian government to assert dominance, and both sides benefit the elitist establishment.  The great con is that there is no third option when there is; the non-aggression principle, citizen defense, voluntarism, and freedom.

Frankly, I almost prefer a scenario in which Biden and the left are perceived as stealing the election. At least then conservatives will be fully united once again and ready to fight, instead of passively relying on a Pied Piper like Trump to save them.

The truth is, in 2020-2021 we stand at a massive nexus point in human history. We are spiraling into a decade and a fight that will decide the fate liberty for the next century or more. On one side stands the global elites and the useful idiots on the hard left. They will push for a collectivist system that erases all memory of the Constitutional Republic we once knew, and they will get help from fake conservatives that value power over principle. On the other side stands the people that just want to be left alone; the free minds, the people that don’t need or desire to have power over anybody.

If humanity is to have a future at all, the second group must continue to exist and prosper. They are the wellspring that feeds us, that gives us something to hope for. If the elites and the social justice mob take control, there can be no future for our species. They desire what they cannot and should not have. They value only what they can take from others. They have a hunger that can never be satiated. They will devour the world until there is nothing left while claiming they stand for the “greater good”. War cannot be avoided with such people; the only question is, will liberty-minded people stay the course and stick by their principles or will they fall to their darker impulses to ensure victory?

New York’s COVID-19 Field Hospital Dismantled After Treating ZERO Patients

Another field hospital has been dismantled after treating exactly zero patients during the COVID-19 scamdemic.  The $21 million hospital was apparently all for show, smoke in mirrors, as not one single patient needed it.

The Brooklyn field hospital, authorized by Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration at a cost of approximately $21 million, closed without seeing one patient. The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook was one of several sites across the city to be converted into a medical facility to try to manipulate the public into more fear. While the plan in Red Hook was announced on March 31, one day after the U.S Navy hospital ship Comfort arrived in New York Harbor, the facility did not open until May 4, according to Pennlive.

Army’s Seattle Field Hospital Closed After 3 Days & Without Seeing A Single Patient

These hospitals were most likely set up just to show the public that they should be living in a state of fear and be subjected to utter tyranny because of it.

Luckily, people all over the world have be documenting the lies from politicians, bankers, and the mainstream media during this scamdemic.

MSM EXPOSED: Independent People Uncover COVID-19 Lies

The majority of people know they are being lied to and that this has all been a gigantic hoax perpetrated on the public.  The real question remains where we go from here. Do we continue to allow ourselves to be slaves to the ruling class elitists? Or do we declare ourselves free human beings, capable of running our own lives without government interference?

What’s important to know, is that you are not alone.

More people than you think are awakening to the truth that government is simply control over the public and nothing more.  It are not there to help us, have never protected our rights, and will steal from us and kill us if we dare to disobey.  Politicians and cops are also just humans.  They aren’t better than us, and we should have never allowed them any power over us in any capacity.

VIDEO: Security drags pro-democracy lawmakers from Hong Kong legislature, block the doors in order to install pro-China leadership

A just-released video from a pro-democracy organization opposed to Chinese communist rule shows security forces within the Hong Kong legislature forcibly removing pro-democracy lawmakers from the Hong Kong legislature Monday.

What’s happening?

During the ongoing fight between a pro-democracy movement in Hong Kong and the communist regime in Beijing, pro-China forces have repeatedly attempted to quash any and all demonstrations by those who would question Chinese governance in the region.

A new video from the Twitter account — Things China Doesn’t Want You To Know (@TruthAbtChina) — shows security guards dragging pro-democracy lawmakers from the chamber of the Hong Kong legislature.

The fight, according to the BBC, was over a bill that would criminalize disrespect of the Chinese national anthem. The scrape in the chamber came as legislators fought over who would lead a committee that was key to how the bill would progress through the Legislative Council, the BBC said.

According to the outlet, the security team’s move came as the body fought over who would serve as chairman of the committee.

More from the BBC:

The Legislative Council was in dispute over who should run the house committee, which scrutinises bills and decides when they are voted on.

Last week, the council president appointed Chan Kin-por, a pro-Beijing lawmaker, to oversee the election of a new leader.

On Monday – before the Legislative Council began – Mr Chan was in the chairman’s seat, surrounded by more than 20 security guards.

As pro-democracy lawmakers entered the room, they tried to reach the seat, but were stopped by the guards.

The New York Times reported that one pro-democracy leader, Lam Cheuk Ting, was seen ripping out pages from the body’s rule book and scattering them into the scuffle while other members yelled that “Chan and the pro-Beijing camp had improperly seized power over the committee.”

The @TruthAbtChina account said that following the removal of at least nine pro-democracy lawmakers, a pro-communist member was unanimously elected.

“Security guards drag several pro-democracy lawmakers from the Hong Kong legislature,” the organization tweeted. “After 9+ pro-democracy lawmakers are forcibly removed, the vote procedes. Pro-communist Starry Lee is unanimously elected as chairperson.”

The “illegal vote,” the group said, was facilitated by a security crew that held the chamber doors shut after the pro-democracy officials had been removed. The lawmakers can reportedly be heard banging on the doors that are being braced shut.

“Pro-Beijing security guards hold the doors shut as the illegal vote continues and pro-democracy lawmakers bang on the doors from the outside,” the organization tweeted.

The pro-Beijing leadership of Hong Kong has been cracking down on many voices of dissent against ChiCom rule. Just last month, Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam used the coronavirus quarantine to arrest democracy advocates.

WATCH: Communism lauding leftists try to shame ‘Reopen California’ protesters — it doesn’t end well for them

BlazeTV host of “Slightly Offens*ve,” Elijah Schaffer, hit the streets of Los Angeles to attend one of the hundreds of protests across the country against stay-at-home orders amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and to expose the hypocrisy of far-left radicals who oppose the bipartisan fight to reopen our country.

Throughout the demonstration, Schaffer was continually approached, physically confronted, and threatened by counterprotesters, many carrying signs lauding communism, who simultaneously demanded that he comply with social distancing orders.

“You guys aren’t socially distancing. You guys are counterproductive to the goal of reopening by spreading the disease like this,” noted one counterprotester, who stood mere inches away wearing a mask over his chin, his nose and mouth fully exposed.

Another self-identified “hard core leftist” actually removed his mask to speak closely into the potentially virus-infested microphone.

“What surprises me the most out of all of this is that communists who are opposing this, being the people of the worker, are opposing workers getting back to work,” Elijah said.

China communism Hollywood Intelwars propaganda Ted Cruz

Ted Cruz takes on Hollywood studios: Want to do business with the Pentagon? Then stop editing your movies to appease Chinese communists.

The Pentagon has long had a friendly working relationship with Hollywood. Since 1917, the Department of Defense has helped Tinseltown make more than 800 movies, according to the Independent. The DOD even has an entertainment liaison office, which it set up in 1948.

It has been a relationship that has benefitted studios’ ticket sales and government messaging.

Now, one Republican senator — Ted Cruz of Texas — is calling out Hollywood’s willingness to appease the communist Chinese government and wants to condition the Pentagon’s assistance in moviemaking on studios’ vows not to cave to the ChiComs, Politico reported Tuesday night.

What’s that now?

At the same time Hollywood has been willing to use U.S. government resources to help its bottom line, it also has long had a history of doing the bidding of communist regimes.

Forget Dalton Trumbo. Forget the traitors who were willing to back Adolf Hitler when Joseph Stalin told them to. Forget the Screen Writers Guild. Forget even the movie industry’s love for Fidel Castro and attempt to glorify Che Guevera.

You don’t need to go back that far.

Sony edited the Seth Rogen and James Franco movie, “The Interview,” to appease communist North Korea strongman Kim Jong Un.

MGM actually went back and digitally altered its “Red Dawn” remake to remove the communist Chinese bad guys so as not to upset Beijing.

Twentieth Century Fox let China censor key scenes from “Bohemian Rhapsody” that discussed Queen frontman Freddie Mercury’s sexuality.

This clear pandering to communist China doesn’t sit well with Cruz, so the Texas conservative has prepared a bill he plans to introduce the next time the U.S. Senate is in session.

Cruz’s “Stopping Censorship, Restoring Integrity, Protecting Talkies Act” — aka “The SCRIPT Act” — would prevent cooperation between the Pentagon and any studios that edit their movies for Chinese audiences, Politico reported.

The SCRIPT Act would block the DOD from helping any studio that had recently edited a movie to meet ChiCom demands or did not promise not to censor their movies before getting assistance from the Pentagon, according to Politico.

Cruz wants to hold Hollywood accountable

Cruz’s bill comes at a time that the Chinese government is trying to convince the world that the U.S. is responsible for the coronavirus crisis and play down its own role. And American media have been happy to parrot Beijing’s talking points.

China’s history of using U.S. media for its communist messaging spurred Cruz’s efforts to hold Hollywood accountable.

“The Chinese Communist Party spends billions and billions of dollars to mislead Americans about China and shape what our citizens see, hear, and think,” Cruz said in a statement on his website. “All of these activities are part of China’s whole-of-state approach to amass more influence around the world through information warfare — and we need to put a stop to it.”

The senator said it’s time the government held movie studios accountable if they’re going to use Pentagon resources.

“For too long, Hollywood has been complicit in China’s censorship and propaganda in the name of bigger profits,” Cruz stated. “The SCRIPT Act will serve as a wake-up call by forcing Hollywood studios to choose between the assistance they need from the American government and the dollars they want from China.”

Chinese journalist who disappeared for weeks after reporting on the coronavirus cover-up resurfaces in video praising police

A Chinese citizen journalist who went missing for nearly two months after exposing the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan has resurfaced in a video praising police for its “civil” and “legal” treatment of him.

Li Zehua, 25, was one of several citizen journalists who went missing in Wuhan after refusing to stay silent about the virus. He was previously last seen on Feb. 26 when he documented his own arrest. After being cut off on the road by a white SUV, Li uploaded a video of him calling a friend to explain the situation and then later started a livestream that ended when two agents entered his apartment.

In the new video, uploaded Wednesday, Li claims that he was arrested by police and subsequently forced to quarantine for several weeks due to his possible exposure to the virus by visiting “sensitive epidemic areas,” according to a translation of the video by the Guardian.

?????Kcriss???2?26????????????I’m Kcriss, here is something about me since February 26th.

He had to turn over his electronic devices to a friend during the quarantine, in which he was monitored by security guards and only able to watch the evening newscast from state broadcaster, China Central Television. Yet, Li expressed his thankfulness to the authorities who detained him.

“Throughout the whole time, the police acted civilly and legally, making sure I had rest and food. They really cared about me,” he said, adding that he was finally released on March 28 and since then has been spending time with his family.

The Guardian also noted that Li spoke much more patriotically than he had before his arrest.

“May God bless China and the people of the world unite,” Li said in the video.

Before his arrest, the Guardian noted, Li “reported on a local neighborhood committee’s efforts to cover up new infections and interviewed sick residents. He visited a crematorium where a worker said people were being paid more to transport bodies.”

Li worked as an anchor for Chinese state television before resigning in February and traveling to Wuhan to cover the coronavirus outbreak.

Tom Cotton accuses China of intentionally seeding coronavirus cases in other countries to maintain power

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) said that he believed China purposely seeded the coronavirus in other countries in order to maintain their relative global power.

Cotton made the stunning accusations in an interview with Pat Robertson at CBN News.

“I think it’s pretty clear that China is culpable for unleashing this pandemic on the world,” said Cotton.

“First off, as you just reported, all the evidence, circumstantial to be sure, but all the evidence right now points to these laboratories in Wuhan as the most likely source for this virus. Perhaps it was an accidental breach that resulted from Chinese incompetence, but still they knew the risks, they knew the shortcomings in those labs,” he explained.

“But even worse, by late December, early January, once it became clear to the Chinese communist party leaders that this virus was highly contagious and deadly and was being transmitted from humans to humans, they continued to encourage travel outside of China to the rest of the world,” said Cotton.

“I believe that was a deliberate decision that was designed to seed cases around the world so China wouldn’t be the only nation that suffered a relative decline of its power,” he claimed.

“That’s why I think China is culpable for this pandemic,” Cotton concluded, “and why there has to be consequences for them.”

Robertson was stunned at the accusation from Cotton against China, prompting the senator to list the many human rights violations of the communist government, including concentration camps against religious minority groups.

“They force women to have abortions, they harvest organs from political prisoners. And of course their communist forebears in the Chinese communist party, going back to the 1940s, are responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of their own people,” said Cotton.

“Those kinds of people would think of nothing of putting this virus outside of China’s borders, if that’s what it took to maintain China’s relative power in the world,” he concluded.

Robertson highlighted the growing possibility of a military conflict over Chinese aggression in the South China Sea. Cotton dismissed any military conflict but said that China had to face some
punitive consequences for their actions.

Democrats Try To Use COVID-19 To Push Their Socialist Agenda

In a bit of not-so-surprising news, democrat politicians have decided that during the coronavirus pandemic, they should push a liberal agenda.  In the words of infamous socialist Rahm Emanuel, Democrats will “never allow a crisis to go to waste.”

Democrats used their stimulus bill, which was a response to the GOP’s proposal, to pack it with funding to advance a liberal communist agenda.

Both Republican and Democratic senators had spent several days negotiating a nearly $2 trillion package that would provide financial assistance to workers, small businesses, large corporations, and certain industries hit particularly hard by the economic shutdown in response to the public health crisis.

Then Pelosi showed up and declared the package not good enough while touting a number of demands that, at best, were only tangentially related to the coronavirus issue, which prompted Senate Democrats to essentially scuttle the whole thing on Sunday afternoon. –Western Journal

This is really unsurprising news considering that according to The Hill on Thursday, House Democrats held a conference call to discuss both the efforts in the Senate to construct a coronavirus fiscal relief package as well as ideas for a package of their own for the same alleged purpose. And Emanuel was quick to bring back his infamous line:

Amid negotiations over how lawmakers should respond to the coronavirus pandemic, Rahm Emanuel has reprised his famous rallying cry from his 2008 financial crash: Never let a crisis go to waste.

Speaking during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday, the former Chicago mayor and chief of staff to President Barack Obama brought back his infamous quote from the 2008 financial collapse in an attempt to highlight that the government can learn from its mistakes when dealing crises.

“Never allow a crisis to go to waste,” Emanuel said Sunday. “Start planning for the future. This has to be the last pandemic that creates an economic depression. We’re going to have more pandemics, but this has to be the last economic depression.” –Fox News

Bill ‘Che’ Blasio uses coronavirus to push for communist-style takeover of private companies and industries

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio wasted no time on Saturday during an MSNBC interview to use the coronavirus as an excuse for pushing a communist-style takeover of private industries by the federal government.

De Blasio told host Joy Reid that the COVID-19 pandemic makes a good “case for a nationalization, literally, a nationalization of crucial factories and industries that can produce the medical supplies to prepare this country for what we need.”

The failed presidential candidate then called for the federal government to seize control of the hand sanitizer industry.

“Every company that can make hand sanitizer should be on a 24-hour shift and the distribution should go to the places that needed most,” he told Reid who appeared to agree with him.

Not de Blasio’s first statist rodeo

Of course, this is not the first time that de Blasio has floated statist fantasies.

As Politico reported in June 2019, during his ill-fated presidential campaign, the New York City mayor said he favored abolishing private health insurance. In a heated exchange with former Rep. Beto O’Rourke at the debate, de Blasio made the case for eliminating the private insurance industry, which he argued “is not working” for Americans.

“Wait, wait, wait. Congressman O’Rourke, Congressman O’Rourke, private insurance is not working for tens of millions of Americans,” de Blasio, who now endorses democratic socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders, said at the time, as he spoke over the former Texas representative. “When you talk about the co-pays, the deductibles, the premiums, the out-of-pocket expenses. It’s not working. How can you defend a system that’s not working?”

As TheBlaze reported, de Blasio also said last year that gender reassignment surgeries “absolutely” should be covered by taxpayer dollars through Medicare for All. The New York City mayor even promised to get the federal government involved in the sports industry by threatening to use an executive order to force U.S. national teams to pay female athletes the same as male athletes, regardless of performance or ticket sales.

Quoted communist Che Guevara in 2019

The New York City mayor has made no effort to hide his crypto-Marxist sympathies. On the campaign trail last year, de Blasio infamously quoted communist revolutionary Che Guevara during a speech at Miami International Airport.

“¡Hasta la victoria, siempre!” he said, echoing Guevara’s famous rallying cry. De Blasio, who studied Latin American history, later claimed he had no idea where the quote came from.

Additionally, in the 1980s, de Blasio was a supporter, fundraiser, and advocate for the Cuban-backed Sandinista government of dictator Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua.

“But he returned with something else entirely,” the New York Times wrote in 2013 about de Blasio’s trip to the Central American country, “a vision of the possibilities of an unfettered leftist government.”

Bombshell NYT report: Soviets targeted Bernie Sanders to help spread communist propaganda; Kremlin saw him as ally

It is no secret that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) admired the Soviet Union for decades, but a bombshell report by the New York Times shows that the “Evil Empire,” as dubbed by President Ronald Reagan, saw him as an ideological ally and mouthpiece for their propaganda.

Reporters with the Times tracked down a Soviet archive containing previously unseen documents from the 1980s while Sanders — as mayor of Burlington, Vermont — worked to establish a sister city relationship with Yaroslavl, Russia. According to the report, the Soviets utilized sister city partnerships as propaganda opportunities and “sought to leverage Sanders’ interest in their country to their advantage.”

Identifies as an ideological ally

The documents were located in the Yaroslavskaya Region State Archive in Yaroslavl in a file titled “documents about the development of friendly relations of the city of Yaroslavl with the city of Burlington in 1988.”

While the documents do not seem to indicate that Sanders knowingly contributed to the dissemination of Soviet propaganda, they do confirm that the Kremlin saw him as an ally.

“Nothing in the documents suggests that Mr. Sanders was the only local American official targeted for propaganda, or even that he was particularly receptive to it, though they do describe him as a socialist,” reporter Anton Troianovski wrote.

‘Very strange honeymoon’

The documents reviewed by the Times also show that Sanders aggressively courted the Soviets to establish a sister-city relationship with Burlington. During a May 1988 trip to the city of Yaroslavl with his wife and an American delegation (which Sanders subsequently described as a “very strange honeymoon”), the Soviets provided Sanders with a detailed itinerary that “was planned minute-by-minute” and included “tours of schools and theaters and virtually no breaks during the day.”

However, the trip itself was not sufficient to establish the sister-city relationship he sought with the Soviet Union, as the partnership had to be approved by high-ranking Soviet officials in Moscow and Burlington also had to host a reciprocal trip for a Soviet delegation.

The Times report suggests that in order to carry favor with the Kremlin, upon returning to the United States, Sanders spoke glowingly about his experience in the USSR and “ratcheted up his lobbying effort in private.”

“People there seemed reasonably happy and content,” Sanders told American reporters about Yaroslavl at the time. “I didn’t notice much deprivation.”

Driven by opposition to nuclear weapons

According to multiple people interviewed by the Times, Sanders’ interests in building relationships with the Soviet Union appear to have been largely driven by his strong opposition to a potential nuclear escalation with the Soviets.

When local residents and city council members grew frustrated with his focus on foreign policy as the mayor of a small city, Sanders quipped, “We cannot have a good police, fire or planning department if there is a nuclear war,” according to official minutes of a city meeting. “The enormous spending on the military by both countries strangles their local economies.”

In a statement to the Times, the Sanders campaign said it was “proud” of his efforts to build relationships with the Soviets. “Mayor Sanders was proud to join dozens of American cities in seeking to end the Cold War through a Sister Cities program that was encouraged by President Reagan himself,” a campaign spokesman said in a statement.

“The exchange between Burlington and Yaroslavl, which continues to this day, confirmed Sanders’s long held view: by meeting face to face, we can break down the barriers and stereotypes that exist between people and their governments.”

Poll measuring preference for socialism or capitalism is bad news for Democrats — if they nominate Bernie Sanders

A new poll could mean that the Democrats face headwinds from the American people in trying to defeat President Donald Trump if they nominate a socialist as their presidential candidate.

That’s because twice as many voters prefer capitalism than those that prefer socialism.

The Fox News poll showed that 56 percent of voters had a favorable attitude about capitalism, while only 28 percent had a favorable attitude about socialism.

Another 30 percent of voters said they saw capitalism unfavorably, while 58 percent said they found socialism unfavorably.

Democratic frontrunner Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is a longtime proponent of socialism and has been criticized for his support for despotic socialist regimes.

In one telling exchange, he said that he opposed the totalitarian state in communist Cuba, but added that it wasn’t all bad while touting dictator Fidel Castro’s “literacy programs.”

Another question from the poll showed that 76 percent of voters were not opposed to billionaires existing, whereas only 15 percent said it was not a good thing for billionaires to exist.

The poll showed a wide age gap, with those above 76 years of age being most opposed to socialism, while those under 35 years of age being most supportive of socialism.

Advocates of capitalism say the free market system is the best way to organize society in order to reach the greatest prosperity, freedom and happiness, while critics favor the centralized power of the government to order each individual to the betterment of society.

House Dems block resolution condemning Sanders’ pro-Castro comments

Although some Democrats have tried distancing themselves from a series of recent comments by Sen. Bernie Sanders where he praised certain aspects of late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s authoritarian regime, including a “massive literacy program,” House Democrats voted unanimously to block a resolution condemning the presidential candidate’s remarks.

Introduced by Florida Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, who is Cuban American, the House resolution called out Sanders by name for “disregarding the history of systemic human rights abuses, forced indoctrination, and authoritarian actions of the literacy and education policies of the Communist Castro dictatorship in Cuba.”

Condemned communism and torture of innocent men and women

Diaz-Balart’s resolution also asked House members to affirm that “the literacy and education policy of the tyrannical Castro dictatorship served to indoctrinate the Cuban people with Marxist-Communist ideology and anti-United States sentiment” and repudiate Castro’s use of firing squads and imprisonment of political dissidents.

The House resolution also recognized that communism “has claimed at least 100,000,000 victims, and has led to financial ruin and brutal oppression in Asia, Europe, and the Western Hemisphere.”

When he announced his plans to introduce the statement for a House vote, Diaz-Balart emphasized the Castro regime’s record of backing anti-American dictatorships throughout the world.

“I remind the senator and the progressive movement that the Castro regime is a threat, not only by the way to the national security of the United States, but also to all of the democracies in this hemisphere. This regime has been on the list of state sponsors of terrorism for many years for its support of other terrorist states and organized terrorist groups,” he told reporters at a news conference on Wednesday when announcing the resolution.

“That is, by the way, why I’m filing, filed a resolution that condemns the blatantly false, irresponsible, ignorant, highly ignorant and hurtful comments of the democratic socialist candidate for president, Mr. Sanders,” Diaz-Balart added, according to The Hill.

Democrats unanimously block it

In a “60 Minutes” interview aired on Sunday, Sanders praised the Cuban regime, noting that Castro “formed a literacy brigade … he went out and they helped people learn to read and write. You know what? I think teaching people to read and write is a good thing.”

The comments drew bipartisan criticism, even prompting a DNC spokeswoman to have to clarify that the Democratic Party opposes the island’s communist regime.

“I will let Bernie Sanders speak for his comments, but we are very clear in the Democratic Party that we speak out against brutal dictatorships like those of Castro and we support the people of Cuba, fleeing Cuba under that dictatorship,”

However, when a vote was taken Thursday on whether Diaz-Balart’s resolution should be brought forth to the full House of Representatives for a vote, not a single Democratic House member supported it.

Two South Florida Democrats — Reps. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell and Donna Shalala — were among 16 House members who did not vote on the matter.

As Sanders praises Fidel Castro, Miami announces a giant ‘anti-communist concert’

Miami is truly one of the most unique places in America.

Following Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) praising aspects of the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s regime during a “60 Minutes” interview over the weekend, the city, which is home to more than 1 million Cuban-Americans who fled the island, decided it had had enough with the Democratic presidential candidate’s soft-on-communism rhetoric. On Monday, Republican Mayor Francis Suarez announced the city would host America’s first-ever “anti-communist concert” on April 11 at the James L. Knight Center.

In an interview with TheBlaze, Mayor Suarez explained that Miami is the perfect place to host an event that denounces communism.

“Our city represents the stories of countless individuals who have risked their lives to flee communism,” he said. “There’s no better way to celebrate than through music, at the first concert of its kind in the United States. And there’s better place to host it than here in Miami.”

Suarez, who was named in November among Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in America, added: “Whether from Cuba, Venezuela, or Nicaragua, each and every life that has fled communism has proven how the will to pursue democracy and freedom, even in the face of oppression, can never be suppressed or silenced.”

Sanders: It’s ‘unfair to say that everything is bad’ under communism

On Sunday, Sanders told Anderson Cooper that there were certain aspects of Cuba’s totalitarian regime that were redeemable.

“We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba,” Sanders told host Anderson Cooper before pivoting to defending Castro. “But it’s unfair to say that everything is bad.”

He then began parroting talking points often cited by the country’s communist government: “When Fidel Castro came into office, you know what he did? He had a massive literacy program. Is that a bad thing even though Fidel Castro did it?”

Mayor Suarez blasted Sanders’ comments in a tweet early Monday morning, saying, “Bernie Sanders’ glorification of socialism omits Castro’s forceful imposition of power attacking human rights and freedom of speech, minimizing those who fought to break free from his suffocating hand.”

It is not the first time that Sanders has come under fire for remarks praising communist dictators. The Vermont socialist has been criticized in the past for refusing to denounce Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro as a dictator and even defending Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega’s violence against his own citizens by comparing it to Abraham Lincoln’s actions during the Civil War.

‘Enough is enough’

The show, which will feature legendary Cuban salsa music star Willy Chirino and other artists, is being celebrated by South Florida residents and conservative leaders who say America has to stop normalizing far-left ideologies.

“We cannot continue normalizing communism and socialism in America,” Armando Ibarra, head of the Miami Young Republicans, told TheBlaze. “These are disgusting belief systems that have killed millions of people. Our community is sick and tired of watching media outlets offer platforms to degenerate Marxists like Bernie Sanders, AOC and other Democrat Party members to fetishize evil ideologies that, frankly, have no business in polite society. Enough is enough.”

Cuban-American lobbyist Christian Camara said to TheBlaze that Miami’s “anti-communism concert” is the city’s way of pushing back against left-wing political extremism that some Democrats are trying to mainstream: “This concert is partially the result of the Democrat Party’s effort to normalize socialism and a major American city that’s home to millions of victims of that ideology saying ‘full stop.’ People are fed up.”

VIDEO: Bernie was given two more chances to denounce Castro’s Cuba during and after Tuesday’s debate — instead he gushed over it again

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) cannot help but defend Fidel Castro’s communist regime in Cuba.

The self-avowed democratic socialist and frontrunner in the Democratic presidential race was given multiple opportunities both during and after the primary debate Tuesday to denounce the regime — instead he used both opportunities to defend his past comments in support of it.

Here’s the quick background: Sanders was the subject of intense scrutiny in the lead up to the debate after his 1980s comments about Fidel Castro’s Cuba were brought up in an interview on “60 Minutes” Sunday. In the interview, Sanders doubled down on his praise for Castro’s “literacy program and said his campaign is “very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba” but that “it’s unfair to say that everything is bad.”

During a CNN Town Hall the following day, Sanders once again refused to back down from his claims, saying, “truth is truth.”

Fast forward to Tuesday night’s debate where CBS moderators gave Sanders yet another chance to clarify his comments. Sanders, not taking the hint, dug his heels in again, this time to boos from the crowd.

“It’s what Barack Obama said in terms of Cuba; that Cuba made progress on education,” Sanders said as some in the audience booed.

“Really? Literacy programs are bad?” he asked in response to the boos. “What Barack Obama said is that they made great progress on education and health care.”

But that’s not all. CBS brought up the issue again in a post-debate interview with Sanders — this time with even more urgency. The interviewer highlighted the “potential political peril” that such views on Castro’s Cuba could cause Democrats in Florida, a key swing-state, as he addressed Sanders’ comments.

Slightly annoyed, Sanders yet again repeated essentially the same line.

“Cuba is a dictatorship, I’ve said that eight million times,” the senator said, sounding exasperated. “But … even under a dictatorship you can teach people to read and to write … you could provide health care to all people.”

Sanders’ refusal to denounce the horrors of totalitarian socialist regimes like the one in Cuba under Fidel Castro has bewildered and angered Democratic pundits, who fear it will lead to the eventual re-election of President Donald Trump should Sanders become the nominee.

Even progressive CNN political analyst Van Jones couldn’t believe what he heard from the leading candidate. Here was his reaction after last night’s debate:

I was disappointed with Bernie’s answer on the socialism question. He had to know that was coming. There’s no reason to do a big retrospective nostalgia scream-fest about authoritarian regimes from the 70s. It was an opportunity for Bernie to clarify to the American people that when he says ‘”democratic socialism” — that’s the point it’s not that stuff from Cuba., it’s not that stuff from the Soviet Union. It’s the stuff you see in northern Europe that’s working well for normal people and they vote all the time. He failed to do that. It’s unbelievable he failed to do it. It’s what a big chunk of our party needs to hear from him, and he didn’t do it tonight.

2020 democratic primary Bernie Sanders communism Intelwars

Communist-friendly Bernie Sanders’ surge is the fulfillment of the left’s longtime hatred for what America has always stood for

Bernie Sanders was so uninspired by the Miracle on Ice in 1980 that eight years later he was honeymooning in Moscow. Do you believe in miracles, Bernie? Nah, too busy seizing the means of production, I guess. And he was actually living out his honeymoon bliss when the Soviet Union’s devious wish-casting about communism had nearly come to its wretched close.

Yet here he is, 40 years later and nearly 80 years-old himself, somehow having catapulted himself to the top of the Democratic pack in the race to become the next president of these United States. That should literally be impossible in this land of ours, but the progressive religion now competing for our souls has a bizarro world of dumpster fire miracles to offer all its own.

In that realm, Sanders excusing Fidel Castro’s murderous ways as mere bumps in the road on the way to wonderful literacy programs is easily digestible propaganda. Especially when standing next to the, ahem, grotesque shock and awe of the actual Miracle on Ice players celebrating the anniversary of their achievement with the current president, Donald Trump.

Trigger warning: Some of them wore the terrible red baseball hats of your worst nightmares and everything.

Former cable news apparatchik Soledad O’Brien tweeted, “Ugh…. so disappointed by the @1980MiracleTeam. I loved that game as a kid with my dad. Loved watching the movie with my kids. To see them on a stage, in MAGA hats — kinda crushing I have to say.”

The funny thing here is that being of Cuban dissent herself, O’Brien is — per her Twitter feed — rather conflicted right now about Sanders. Yet she still can make plenty of time to get her undies in a bunch about a celebration that could have just as easily been ignored by her, like a grown up who ignores a musician or actor who campaigns for a politician they don’t like but is still willing to attend their concerts or movies.

Do you believe in Miracles, Soledad? No, just dying to virtue signal those guys for beating the Communists and then having the nerve to actually be free and stuff.

Because this really isn’t about any differences two America haters might have but their similarities as destroyers of worlds. They, those who vote for them, or have engaged in journalism like them, share in common a deep-seated iconoclasm where hatred of the traditional other is paramount. There is no other explanation for why one of the single greatest sporting/pop culture moments in all of American history — beating the Russians in hockey — can give people the existential vapors if celebrated by the wrong person, yet a Castro cheerleader can be living his best life now.

It’s because of the same people. It’s because the National Anthem isn’t an honorable melody to them. It’s a threat.

Sure, Trump is likely to win the coming election as long as the economy doesn’t tank, but the ethos that has fueled and sustained Bernie all these years is clearly close to permanently winning the day. Freedom is running on fumes, so much so that a ridiculous personality like his and his brazen tyrant-humping will barely get in the way of being nominated by one of our two major parties for the nation’s highest office.

Bernie and his plans for the rest of us seem to eventually be, in fact, inevitable. For this isn’t a hijacking of the Democrat Party he is engaged in. No, he is fulfilling it.

Do the rest of us still believe in miracles? We better.

Buttigieg hammers Sanders on Castro comments: ‘We need to stand against dictatorship everywhere in the world’

2020 Democratic presidential hopeful picked apart recent comments about the Fidel Castro regime made by rival candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), accusing the senator of “encouraging people to look on the bright side” of the repressive dictatorship.

Buttigieg gave his scathing critique of the self-described democratic socialist’s recent commentsasd at a Monday night CNN Town Hall event in Charleston, SC.

“Senator Sanders has been criticized for remarks he made praising a literacy program during Fidel Castro’s regime in Cuba,” began CNN host Don Lemon’s question, which noted that Sanders had stood by his comments earlier at the event. “He said ‘You know what? I think teaching people to read and write is a good thing.’ Do you think that’s a fair assessment?”

“So, this is part of what I’m getting at when I say that — in our one shot to defeat Donald Trump — we should think carefully about the consequences of nominating Senator Sanders,” Buttigieg began. “I don’t want — as a Democrat — I don’t want to be explaining why our nominee is encouraging people to look on the bright side of the Castro regime when we are going into the election of our lives; We need to stand against unequivocally against dictatorships everywhere in the world.”

Lemon followup up, asking “so you don’t think that’s a good excuse? He says he thinks he’s a dictator, but literacy is a good thing. There’s no nuance to that?”

“Of course literacy is a good thing,” Buttigieg responded, “but why are we spotlighting the literacy programs of a brutal dictator instead of being unambiguous in our condemnation in the way he has treated his own people?”

Earlier that same day, the former South Bend mayor also hit Sanders for his Castro comments in a statement on Twitter which also included a criticism of President Donald Trump’s foreign policy.

“After four years of looking on in horror as Trump cozied up to dictators, we need a president who will be extremely clear in standing against regimes that violate human rights abroad,” Buttigieg wrote. “We can’t risk nominating someone who doesn’t recognize this.”

Sanders also took heat from other Democrats for his Castro literacy comments on Monday.

Fellow 2020 presidential hopeful Michael Bloomberg wrote on social media that “Fidel Castro left a dark legacy of forced labor camps, religious repression, widespread poverty, firing squads, and the murder of thousands of his own people,” the former mayor wrote. “But sure, Bernie, let’s talk about his literacy program.”

“Make no mistake: Bernie Sanders’ comments on Fidel Castro are a part of a larger pattern throughout his life to embrace autocratic leaders and governments across the globe,” read a Monday statement from Former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign. “He seems to have found more inspiration in the Soviets, Sandinistas, Chavistas, and Castro than in America.”

“As the first South American immigrant member of Congress who proudly represents thousands of Cuban Americans, I find Senator Bernie Sanders’ comments on Castro’s Cuba absolutely unacceptable,” wrote Rep Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (D-Fla.) on Twitter. “The Castro regime murdered and jailed dissidents, and caused unspeakable harm to too many South Florida families,” Mucarsel-Powell added. “To this day, it remains an authoritarian regime that oppresses its people, subverts the free press, and stifles a free society.”

Joe Biden excoriates Bernie Sanders in scathing statement about ‘offensive’ Cuba comments

The campaign for presidential candidate Joe Biden excoriated Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) over comments he made defending the communist regime in Cuba.

The Biden campaign released a statement on Monday.

“Make no mistake: Bernie Sanders’ comments on Fidel Castro are a part of a larger pattern throughout his life to embrace autocratic leaders and governments across the globe,” read the statement.

“He seems to have found more inspiration in the Soviets, Sandinistas, Chavistas, and Castro than in America. His admiration for elements of Castro’s dictatorship or at least willingness to look past Cuba’s human rights violations is not just dangerous, it is deeply offensive to the many people in Florida, New Jersey, and across the country that have fled political persecution and sought refuge in the United States,” the statement continued.

“Bernie’s comments indicate he either fails to understand the pain and suffering that Fidel Castro, Nicolas Maduro, and Daniel Ortega have caused to so many people, including Americans now living here, or worse, that his ideology blinds him to the realities of life in these countries,” he added.

“We already have one president who praises dictators and their mob-like tendencies; we don’t need another one,” the statement concluded.

Even Democrats were surprised and dismayed at the comments from Sanders that appeared to downplay the horrors of the communist Cuban regime.

“We’re very opposed to the authoritarian nature of Cuba,” said Sanders, “but it’s unfair to say everything was bad!”

He went on to note that Castro also had implemented literacy programs after executing political dissidents.

There has been a renewed focus on Sanders’ previous controversial comments after he overtook Biden as the frontrunner in the Democratic primary race.

Baltimore County AP history lesson compares President Trump to Nazism, communism

One Baltimore-area high school is facing controversy over a lesson presentation that compared President Donald Trump’s immigration policies to Nazism and communism.

The lesson slide in question shows a picture of Trump with the caption, “Wants to round up a group of people and build a giant wall.” Underneath are two images, one of a swastika that says “been there,” and another of a hammer-and-sickle that says “done that.”

The slide also says, “Oh that’s why it sounds so familiar!”

According to WBFF-TV, the image was presented in class on Wednesday — and parents are upset.

“The biggest problem is pushing an agenda on 16-year-olds,” one parent told WBFF. “My understanding is that was just put up and it was left there for everyone to see the whole day.”

State Rep. Kathy Szeliga (R) also caught wind of the lesson. She responded on Facebook, “Educational malfeasance of the highest degree. What is going on in our the Balt Co Public Schools????”

Baltimore County councilman Wade Kach told WBFF, “To even imply that our president is in any way a Nazi or a communist is outrageous. Is this curriculum for AP? Is it a purchased curriculum? Is it one that our school system wrote? Where is it coming from? I just think that it’s irresponsible to post anything like this in a classroom.”

In a statement, Baltimore County schools said:

This slide was used as part of a lesson in an AP History course. The topics being discussed included World Wars and the attempts by some leaders to limit, or prevent migration, into certain countries. In isolation and out of context with the lesson, the image could be misunderstood. In our Advanced Placement (AP) classes, which are college level courses, we expect and encourage analysis and discussion around historical and current events even if they are considered controversial. This lesson was not intended to make a political statement. If a student has concerns when discussing a controversial issue, schools have the tools to address the concern and support the student.

However, it is still not clear who created the slide. WBFF reported the teacher did not create it, and the Baltimore Sun reported the school system did not create it.

The College Board, which manages the AP program, does not provide curriculum for teachers.
