Dave Rubin: ‘SLOBBERING’ media fawn over Biden, call for MORE censorship of conservatives

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Rubin Report,” host Dave Rubin mocked the mainstream media over the embarrassing coverage of the Biden inauguration and discussed the increasing calls for censorship of conservative voices.

Dave called out the “slobbering” so-called journalists who fawned shamelessly over President Joe Biden, such as CNN’s David Chalian who described the side lights on the national mall as “extensions of Joe Biden’s arms embracing America,” adding that it “was a moment where the new president came to town and sort of convened the country in this moment of remembrance, outstretching his arms.”

“Extensions of Joe Biden’s arms, hugging, embracing, fondling America. Can you feel the love?” Dave said mockingly. “I could show you a gajillion … of those types of clips, of the slobbering people. All right, that’s the way we’re going to do this? […] It’s just so sad and pathetic.”

Dave also reacted to the intensifying calls for Big Tech to “do something” about the threat of conservative content and its ability to influence people. He noted in particular former top Facebook official Alex Stamos, who recently said, “We have to turn down the capability of these conservative influencers to reach these huge audiences,” during an appearance on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.”

Stamos lamented that some right-wing YouTubers have larger audiences than “daytime CNN” (such as “The Rubin Report”) before going on to say, “And then we have to figure out the OANN and Newsmax problem. These companies have freedom of speech, but I’m not sure we need Verizon, AT&T, Comcast, and such to be bringing them into tens of millions of homes.”

“What they’re really saying is ‘we don’t want competition.’ That’s all he’s really saying,” Dave said.

‘I don’t have enough cuss words for this’: Chad Prather goes off on hypocrites in the media

Chad Prather called out members of the mainstream media for the double-standard displayed across cable news networks.

“I don’t trust anybody but TheBlaze anymore,” Chad said. “I’m so tired of it! I don’t have enough cuss words for this.”

So what had Chad so fired up?

According to Chad, the Left flip-flopped on immigration, amnesty, and “kids in cages.”

“They talk about kids in cages. Then, they turn around say ‘we want to reeducate the children of Trump supporters,” Chad said.

Later, Chad gave an example of what he feels is manipulated phrasing used by the mainstream media.

“People who are here without legal status,” Chad said. “Without legal status means illegal!”

‘Rub their noses in it’: Steve Deace reacts to Biden’s pick for assistant secretary of health

On Tuesday, BlazeTV’s Steve Deace weighed in on President Joe Biden’s pick for assistant health secretary, Rachel Levine.

Levine was the Pennsylvania health secretary and is a transgender doctor.

“Don’t debate that,” Deace said. “I wouldn’t even be worried about it.” Deace said he would mock Biden’s choice “mercilessly.” He explained to those in the media industry that there is not a point in writing articles or blogs reasoning about why this was a bad choice.

“Do you think the people that made the choice don’t know that?” Deace asked.

Instead, Deace suggested conservatives try a different approach. “Go to talk to your friends, especially the ones who couldn’t handle Trump’s tweets, and [metaphorically] “rub their noses in it.”

‘The cult of Trump’: As Biden era begins, calls grow louder to ‘deprogram’ Trump supporters

Countless leaders on the left are now arguing that removing President Donald Trump from office won’t be enough — they’re now calling for the president’s “cult-like” supporters to be “deprogrammed.” And it’s not just fringe politicians.

During an appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher” last week, former NBC anchor Katie Couric said, “The question is, how are we going to really almost deprogram these people who have signed up for the cult of Trump.”

Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi questioned whether the nation needs “a 9/11-type commission” to determine whether President Trump was colluding with Russian President Vladimir Putin “the day that the insurgents invaded our Capitol.” Clinton also made sure to include her favorite “deplorables” in her unsubstantiated conspiracy theory:

“But we now know that not just [Trump] but his enablers, his accomplices, his cult members, have the same disregard for democracy,” Clinton said to Pelosi.

Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson and New York Times Magazine’s Nikole Hannah-Jones agreed that there is a need for “millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans” to be deprogrammed and punished, during an MSNBC interview last week.

Now, a story from the Washington Post is also preaching that narrative and even added that we need more restrictions for conservatives on social media and in the broadcast industry.

“So now we have to be deprogrammed? We’ve heard this over and over and over and over again, for months,” said Glenn Beck on the radio program Tuesday. He read through the shocking details of the Washington Post op-ed and discussed the extraordinary dangers of the latest anti-conservative movement in America.

‘We are the Alamo, we will stand’: As calls for censorship get louder, Glenn Beck urges Americans to stand together

As calls for censorship and restrictions against conservative voices get louder, Glenn Beck said he feels an “awesome responsibility” to speak, not the words he’d personally like to say, but those he believes the Lord would want him to share.

“It’s an awesome responsibility, and one that I am not worthy of,” Glenn said. “I want to say … what He wants me to say. And I have to listen very carefully, because I feel the same way you do. But that will get us nowhere.”

Glenn said it’s time for Americans who are awake — not woke — to come together, no matter which side of the political aisle you’re on, and stand with the truth.

“We are the Alamo, we will stand. But we desperately, desperately need you,” Glenn said. “We need the people who are awake — not woke — awake. You may disagree with us. We are your allies, not your enemies. And if you will not stand with us in our hour of need, there will be no one left to stand with you in your hour of need. We must all come together, anyone who is awake.”

conservative media Eric weinstein Intelwars media control National culture National Emergency

WATCH: This is why Eric Weinstein is FINALLY talking to Glenn Beck

Eric Weinstein, managing director of investment firm Thiel Capital and host of “The Portal” podcast, is not a conservative, but he says conservative and center-right-affiliated media are the only ones who will still allow oppositional voices.

On “The Glenn Beck Podcast” this week, Eric told Glenn that the center-left media, which “controls the official version of events for the country,” once welcomed him, but that all changed about eight years ago when they started avoiding any kind of criticism by branding those who disagree with them as “alt-right, far-right, neo-Nazi, etc.,” even if they are coming from the left side of the aisle. But their efforts to discredit critical opinions don’t stop there. According to Eric, there is a strategy being employed to destroy our national culture and make sure Americans with opposing views do not come together.

“We’re trifling with the disillusionment of our national culture. And our national culture is what animates the country. If we lose the culture, the documents will not save us,” Eric said. “I have a very strongly strategic perspective, which is that you save things up for an emergency. Well, we’re there now.”

In the clip below, Eric explains why, after many requests over the last few years, he finally agreed to this podcast.

Glenn Beck: Why MLK’s pledge of NONVIOLENCE is the key to saving America

Listen to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s pledge of nonviolence and really let it sink in: “Remember always that the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation — not victory.”

On the radio program, Glenn Beck shared King’s “ten commandments” of nonviolence and the meaning behind the powerful words you may never have noticed before.

“People will say nonviolent resistance is a method of cowards. It is not. It takes more courage to stand there when people are threatening you,” Glenn said. “You’re not necessarily the one who is going to win. You may lose. But you are standing up with courage for the ideas that you espouse. And the minute you engage in the kind of activity that the other side is engaging in, you discredit the movement. You discredit everything we believe in.”

Take MLK’s words to heart, America. We must stand with courage, nonviolently, with love for all, and strive for peace and rule of law, not “winning.”

contaminated COVID-19 Ice Cream Intelwars

Three samples of ice cream tested positive for COVID-19 in China

Pat Gray discussed a report released on Friday about COVID-19-contaminated ice cream produced in China by Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Company.

“It’s likely this has come from a person, and without knowing the details, I think this is probably a one-off,” Dr. Stephen Griffin, a virologist based at the University of Leeds, told Sky News.

The article stated that anti-epidemic authorities in north China’s Tianjin Municipality are tracing people who may have been in contact with batches of ice cream.

Initial investigations determined the company “produced the batch of ice cream using raw materials, including milk powder imported from New Zealand and whey powder imported from Ukraine.” However, poor hygiene at the factory cold storage temperatures, rather than an issue with the production plant was noted.

In the article, Dr. Griffin claimed “we probably don’t need to panic that every bit of ice cream is suddenly going to be contaminated with coronavirus.”

“My gosh, so I guess you can get it from ice cream,” Pat said.

‘You have no idea how bad this was’: Dan Bongino details behind-the-scenes ‘smear campaigns’ against Parler

Dan Bongino, host of The Dan Bongino Show, is an investor in Parler — the social media platform that actually believes in free speech. Parler was attacked by Big Tech — namely Amazon, Apple, and Google — earlier this week, but Bongino says the company isn’t giving up without a fight. In fact, he says, he’s willing to go bankrupt over this one.

Dan joined Glenn Beck on the radio program to detail what he calls a “smear” campaign behind the scenes, and how he believes we can move forward from Big Tech’s control.

“You have no idea how bad this was behind the scenes,” Dan told Glenn. “I know you’re probably thinking … well, how much worse can the attack on Parler have gotten than three trillion-dollar companies — Amazon, Apple, and Google — all seemingly coordinated to remove your business from the face of the Earth? Well, behind the scenes, it’s even worse. I mean, there are smear campaigns, pressure campaigns … lawyers, bankers, everyone, to get this company … wiped from the face of the earth. It’s incredible.”

Dan emphasized that he would not give up without a fight, because what’s he’s really fighting for is the right to free speech for all Americans, regardless of their political opinions, without fear of being banned, blacklisted, or losing jobs and businesses.

“I will go bankrupt. I will go absolutely destitute before I let this go,” he said. “I have had some very scary moments in my life and they put horse blinders on me. I know what matters now. It’s not money. It’s not houses. It’s none of that crap. It’s this: the ability to exist in a free country, where you can express your ideas freely.”

Pat Gray: ‘It’s pretty difficult to do this show right now’

“It’s pretty difficult to do this show right now,” Pat Gray said on Wednesday’s show. Pat’s comment came on the heels of intense censorship policies implemented across social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Pat explained how the censorship of conservative voices is unlike anything that he had witnessed his lifetime.

“We are in a place right now where it feels uncomfortable to look at what our country [America] has become, but it is more important than ever to pay attention,” Pat said.

Pat expressed his sentiment about the apparent acceptance of socialism in America and he explained the view many conservatives share about the negative impact socialism has on a country.

“We have to educate our youth on what is going on right now,” Pat suggested. He went on to explain that if kids have any clue about socialism, they are told it means social justice and democracy.

Consequences for trump supporters Deprogrammed Eugene Robinson Intelwars Nikole hannah-jones

‘There has to be consequences’: Leftists call for Trump supporters to be punished, ‘deprogrammed’

On Wednesday’s episode of “The Rubin Report,” host Dave Rubin said he believes everything he’s been warning against, fighting against, and even wrote a book against, is unfortunately happening now.

Dave discussed Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson and New York Times Magazine’s Nikole Hannah-Jones, who agreed that there is a need for “millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans” to be “deprogrammed” and punished before the country should “move on to reconciliation.

“There are millions of Americans, almost all white, almost all Republicans, who somehow need to be deprogrammed. It’s as if they are members of a cult, the Trumpist cult, and have to be deprogrammed,” Robinson said on MSNBC Tuesday. “Do you have any idea how we start that process?” he asked Hannah-Jones

“There has to be consequences. And then once you get those consequences … people have to take a second look at their actions, and they have to be afraid to do the types of violence that we saw last week,” Hannah-Jones suggested. “What has long been the case in this country, is that we have wanted to quickly move on to reconciliation. We’ve always been afraid that if you actually punish those kind of white nationalist elements in our society, it will only make things worse. But, in fact, what history shows is not reacting, not forcing accountability, only emboldens those people and those movements.”

Dave also talked about a controversial op-ed in Forbes, in which the magazine’s chief content officer, Randall Lane, warned companies not to hire Trump officials, including White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

“Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie,” wrote Lane. “We’re going to scrutinize, double-check, investigate with the same skepticism we’d approach a Trump tweet. Want to ensure the world’s biggest business media brand approaches you as a potential funnel of disinformation? Then hire away.”

Dave said he believes conservatives can, unfortunately, expect much more of this kind of behavior in the coming years. Watch the video below to hear why:

New York Times says college football champs did not play in the title game

In a recent article published by the New York Times, Americans were informed that the college football champion of 2020 would not be playing in the title game.

Ahead of the national championship game, the NYT wrote, “Who will be college football’s next national champion, Alabama or Ohio State? The correct answer should be neither.”

According to the NYT, “The team we should be cheering won’t be on the field at Hard Rock Stadium near Miami next Monday.”

On “Pat Gray Unleashed,” Pat Gray read an excerpt from the NYT article that stated, “The University of Connecticut, which was the first Football Bowl Subdivision team to squarely face the coronavirus and decide against playing a single snap during a raging pandemic.

“Given the pain and tumult of the last year, it can be hard to remember there was a time when the powers that rule major college sports were more concerned about the virus than about fattening their bank accounts.”

“That is unbelievable,” Pat said. “Football players who are there to showcase their abilities on the field lost an entire season.”
